"Land there." gami pointed in a particular direction.
"But the Church of Insight is still thousands of miles from here." Yuna was perplexed. She thought Goddess Ely wished to et the Goddess of Fate.
"This land belongs to the Church of Insight. She is not currently in the core region, but there." gami pointed to a hut at the top of a disguised mountain below.
"Understood." Yuna pulled the reins, and her two pegasus brought them flying down.
The hut was simple and integrated with the cave. It was covered in a protective barrier and disguise, indicating that whoever was inside did not want to be disturbed.
Yuna and Mytic thought they would call out the Goddess of Fate to open the way. Yet, they never expected Goddess Ely to make a hole in the barrier without alerting the barrier caster.
Goddess Ely landed and opened the door, entering the hut as if it were her place.
"..." Yuna, Mytic, and Zi Xuan looked at each other. They were supposedly not supposed to be so presumptuous as to disturb soone in seclusion. Yet, the Supre Goddess had already entered there.
Thus, they had no other choice but to go inside.
"Please have a seat. I shall brew so tea for you." gami invited the three girls to sit as if she were the host. She continued brewing tea on the table in a relaxed and calm manner.
While gami and everyone were waiting in the living room, the Goddess of Fate was soaking in her private outdoor hot spring in her backyard, staring at the crystalite cave ceiling with a lting expression.
"Soaking in the hot spring after a tiring workout is the best." The Goddess of Fate, Qhuhtia, or Elysia prefers to call her Katie, leaned her head against the nearby rock and sighed in relief.
She wondered why she had periodically peeked at the possible future and fate lately. Since the Supre Goddess visited her church in the lower realm, she beca sowhat restless, as if sothing unexpected beyond her predictions would happen.
"Her Grace will ascend to the Divine World in two or three months. And then, the third great cataclysm will soon occur in one year at most..." Katie heaved a subtle sigh.
In anticipation of the arrival of the Supre Goddess, she went into seclusion and peered at the future multiple tis. The background behind the sealed Nirvana Realm was beyond her divination reach.
After all, she was born after the second great cataclysm, and she couldn’t peer Heaven’s top secret because the truth behind the first great cataclysm was guarded by Heavenly Dao and Heaven Rank.
Regardless, she knew the Nirvana Realm had already beco a corrupted heavenly paradise with countless Heavenly Demons and corrupted beings, including the corrupted Heavenly Dao from the second great cataclysm.
"Phew, the universe’s godwill is still on our side. The Supre One happens to visit our planet to recuperate. Even though she hasn’t returned to her pri condition, her supre power can solve all the problems the Lord of Heaven can’t solve."
Katie covered her body with a towel and exited the hot spring.
She returned to the main room, clad only in a towel. A book was lying on the table, and she rembered that she was reading a famous romance novel. Yet, the Supre Goddess visited her church then, and she didn’t have ti to read it anymore.
She could read that good novel since her divination of the future was enough.
*Clink*
A crisp clink between the ceramic cups echoed in the next room, surprising Katie greatly. She imdiately spread her divine sense and found three people had entered her cave abode, and she hadn’t noticed them until just now!
"Lady Katie is graceful and educated. I wonder what kind of book she is reading." gami greeted from the living room.
"Who!?" With a divine light orb in hand, Katie rushed into the living room, ready to attack the intruders.
Unfortunately, she couldn’t help but gasp in surprise when she discovered the Agent of White Realm and the Mystic Stellar Saintess were there. Also, the unknown little girl and the veiled mysterious Goddess.
"You are in the presence of the Supre Goddess of Mysterious Origin. I would be best if you get dressed first, Goddess of Fate." Yuna gave a kind suggestion while shaking her head.
"Eh-huh?" Katie looked down and paled. She was only clad in a towel!
"Please pardon ! I’ll be back in five seconds." Katie ran into her room like a gust of wind. She returned to the living room, already clad in her gold-white divine dress.
gami montarily looked at the golden-haired graceful Goddess of Fate before her, then invited Katie to sit down. "Please have a seat."
"My lady, you ascended to the Divine World much faster than originally planned. May I know what happened?" Katie felt a little strange because she was the host, but she felt like a guest in her cave abode. However, her concern and curiosity preceded over.
Zi Xuan poured tea for the Goddess of Fate and then stood aside.
"Hmm~ Maybe I want to et you sooner?" gami replied with a faint smile.
"Ah, thank you. I’m honored, but I’m not sure that’s the primary reason, my lady. I’m just a little Heavenly Goddess." Katie felt rather happy and flattered, even though she knew it was just pleasantries.
"It’s nothing fatal, but Amy, the Agent of Dark Realm, was ambushed during my minor breakthrough seclusion. She is seriously injured and is currently recuperating at the Heavenly Palace. I took her ho."
"That’s so grave... who would dare ambush soone of her calibre?"
"A Heavenly Rebel Immortal Lord."
"Wha, why did the 16th Rank Heavenly Rebel appear in the lower realm!?"
"Who knows? But that phantom wanted to kidnap while I was inside my crystal seal during seclusion. You just found out about this despite your destiny divinity and fate affinity?"
"Please forgive for overlooking it, my lady. It’s already hard to peer whatever revolves around you. I’m too deep to see the possible future that awaits the Divine World."
"Oh, I’m curious about what you saw from your divination."
"That will be a very long story, my lady. Also, it is still a sea of possibilities, but all outcos always end well as long as you are there. Your Supre power can handle everything."
"Lady Katie, I’m afraid you misunderstood my promise to Lord He-Dao."
gami chatted with Katie briefly, but her response surprised Yuna and Mytic.
"My lady, can you please enlighten us about what misunderstanding you an?" Yuna interrupted politely as she urgently needed clarification.
"Sure. My promise to him is to help him solve the Nirvana Realm cataclysm, not solve the Nirvana Realm cataclysm for him. I will help you save the world, but you must rely on yourself to achieve the best outco." gami tried to straighten out one misconstrued truth.
"My lady, why would you... could you please lend your Supre power to eliminate the greatest threat from the corrupted Nirvana Realm? You are invincible..." Yuna’s face paled a little.
Her Lord once said the third cataclysm would depend on the Supre Goddess of Mysterious Origin’s help. He was already weakened and unable to protect everyone, including the ones he wished to protect. The Nirvana Realm’s breakout would beco a losing battle without Goddess Ely’s help.
"If I were one, I would not be seriously injured. But I’ve promised him. Unless I perished, the corrupted ones will never be able to advance past the stage he has prepared." gami gently patted Yuna’s arm to soothe the troubled heart.
"I understand. We are very grateful for your help." Yuna nodded in understanding.
She knew the Supre Goddess had yet to fully recover, and the Supre assistance was already beyond generous to repay her Lord’s kindness. They would be so presumptuous to ask more than that.
"Lady Katie, would you mind going with us? I want to discuss a few things with you." gami raised her hand in invitation.
"With pleasure." Katie accepted the offer without delay, knowing she had no other option, let alone refusing.
"Please enjoy the tea. It may not be the best, but it can ease one’s worry to serenity." gami offered the tea to everyone and then sipped her tea with graceful movents.
After a brief, serene tea party, they left for the Ancient Academy’s Divine Library.
But on the way, gami suddenly raised a sensitive topic out of the blue. "Lady Katie, what do you think about the Heaven Rank? Why do you refuse to join as a mber despite Lord He-Dao’s invitation?"
"E-eh?" Katie blinked her eyes in surprise. She thought the Supre Goddess wished to know more about her recent divination, but this sudden question caught her off guard.
She might spill so of her reasoning if it were just her and the Supre Goddess. However, they were escorted by two Heaven Rank mbers, especially the Agent of Heaven with the highest authority!
"Gulp... My lady, I can’t predict or see through you, but do we need to get through this?" Katie took a little distance, feeling slightly pressured because the Agent of the White Realm was looking at her with a sharp gaze.
"Yuna, don’t scare her. No one will harm you if you state the truth. The Heaven Rank can take note of this to improve themselves. You beca an affiliate even after your rejection... this shows how valuable you are to Heaven Rank’s circle." gami raised her hand to the side, blocking Yuna’s stare.
"..." Yuna closed her eyes, hoping the Goddess of Fate wouldn’t speak ill about Heaven Rank to the Supre Goddess.
"Heaven Rank is too high and binding for , my lady."
"So, Heaven Rank isn’t so honest?"
"I’m pretty lazy, and the benefits they offer are aningless. I can still affiliate with Heaven Rank, helping them with my divination and receive the privileges."
"They also like to take advantage of you?"
"Also, I’m not a combatant."
"They want to assign you tasks beyond your abilities without granting you a safety asure? Are they so cheap and stingy? I understand your reasons..."
"???"
Katie gave her reasons with pleasantries and polite answers to safeguard herself from trouble. Yet, the Supre Goddess played with the words, giving them a different aning from her original answers. She hadn’t even finished talking!
The two Heaven Rank mbers stared dagger at her, and she was terrified at the misunderstanding.
"My lady, please don’t misunderstand ! You will harm with this..." Katie put her hands together, feeling cornered and asking for rcy.
