"You, how are you still alive?" Elder Ping looked back and asked with incredible difficulty.

"Dead people shouldn’t know too much. You are my prey from the beginning, and everyone here shall beco my nutrients." The red demon grinned broadly, baring his blade-sharp teeth.

A crimson-black demonic aura exploded and intimidated the surrounding cultivators. The strongest fighter had been defeated, and everyone felt terror creeping up from their hearts.

The red demon was about to pull his silver claws to slaughter the other cultivators, but it was stuck in the 8th Rank old man’s back.

"You aren’t the only one with a surprise, evil red demon." A person in all black descended from the sky, holding a shining artifact.

Twenty people in similar all-black robes soon gathered in the sky to form a circle formation.

Those mysterious people wore full-face masks, gloves, boots, and other equipnt... enough to prevent virus or other contamination. They didn’t even expose any skin to sunlight.

"Heh~" The red demon raised his eyebrows.

"Evil Annihilator Formation, activate!"

Gabriella and her juniors activated their holy weapons.

A silver sealing circle formation appeared around the red demon, restraining his movents with twenty-one sealing points.

"Cut." Gabriella controlled the formation, cutting the silver claws sticking out from the sealing formation.

"Guh." Elder Ping staggered forward. The sharp silver claws still penetrated his chest, but it was no longer connected to the red demon’s gauntlet.

"My precious weapon... You damaged it using just twenty-one holy weapons sealing formation?" The red demon looked at his right hand. The sharp claws were no more.

"Unknown species, evil demon, parasitic, and can hide in the nearby living creature’s flesh. You haven’t had ti to leave another clone. We will see if you can escape from your demise." Gabriella signalled to her juniors.

"Evil Annihilation, comnce!"

Gabriella and her juniors shouted in unison. Twenty-one holy weapons shone brightly, and hundreds of sword slashes rained down on the red demon.

"!?" The red demon activated his defensive artifact, but his barrier shattered.

He received tens of slashes per second, but it wasn’t enough to kill him.

A red heart-shaped catalyst erged from his abdon. Intense black light gathered there like a spiralling black hole.

At that mont, Evelyn and Yuuki looked at each other as they ca to a tacit understanding. They had to make their move now. The red demon was about to use his God-tier weapon, but they wouldn’t allow him to unleash its prowess.

"Divine Thunder, Heavenly Thunder Strike!" Evelyn swung down her divine magic staff.

*Rumble!*

A purple thunderbolt rumbled across the bright turquoise sky. It descended to the ground like a massive pillar of tribulation thunder.

"!!!" The red demon looked up and widened his eyes.

He wasn’t trying to break through to the next rank, but heavenly thunder ca to hit him!

*Boom!*

The red demon was electrocuted and convulsing. He had not yet prepared himself to face such a massive heavenly thunder.

"Heavenly Ice Prison." Yuuki manifested a crystal gem above her palm. She grasped it, and a gust of super cold, moist air soon froze the red demon partially with a prison-like seal.

"???" Gabriella noticed Elder Yuuki’s gesture. She then signalled her juniors to destroy the formation and the entity inside.

"Crumble."

Gabriella and her juniors sent the command, and the sealing formation exploded.

The purple lightning within the ice kept striking the demon. The ice prison then dealt the finishing blow by crushing the demon into a compressed suitcase-sized ice cube.

The consecutive attacks that reduced the terrifying red demon into the minced at within the ice cube made the surrounding cultivators gape in amazent.

’He’s not dead yet. We don’t know his tricks, but he can’t do anything before Ely. Seal it, and we shall return to the Sacred Mountain. Ely is waiting for us.’ Yuuki sent a telepathy to Gabriella.

’But, that red demon probably left so parasitic residue within the surrounding cultivators. We need to make sure they are sterile before letting them go.’ Gabriella shared her worries.

’Do it. I will be responsible for this demon then.’ Yuuki replied with a subtle nod. She moved her finger, and the ice cube flew towards her.

"Seniors, thank you for helping us eradicate the evil red demon. May I know which sect you are affiliated with?"

A leader-looking cultivator clasped his hands in salute.

"We’re the Guardian of Dream. None of you are allowed to leave before the dical check-up. Gather in the field over there. We must ensure the red demon doesn’t leave his parasitic seeds in your body." Gabriella exclaid and pointed at a particular spot on the ground.

Everyone then landed on the ground and followed the dical check-up obediently.

Everyone understood the gravity of their situation. That kind of troubleso unique demon was one of the hardest to kill. No one there wanted the red demon to leave traces on their body either.

However, they knew the nine-tailed snow fox, the lightning mage, and a priestess were nearby seconds ago. However, those three experts left without leaving any word.

Gabriella and her juniors then conducted a quick dical check-up and a full-body scan using several magic items and artifacts to ensure no demonic residue was left on anyone’s body.

"I don’t seem to have much ti left... However, the evil red demon is dead. My disciples... after I’m gone, please bury my dead body on the white mountain’s peak near our Virtous Valley’s sacred ground. The Guardian of Dream. I don’t know what kind of mysterious organization you are, but thank you very much." Elder Ping lay limply on the ground. He was already accepting his fate.

"Master, please don’t leave us behind..."

"Sob, hic... You won’t die that easily, master..."

"Please hold on. We have sent a distress signal and asked our people to co with reinforcents from several healers."

"Yes, so please hold on."

Several disciples sobbed around their master as they couldn’t see their good master depart from the living world.

"Heehee... It’s useless. Life and death are arranged by Heaven. All living things will surely et death. It’s just a natural cycle." Elder Ping smiled faintly.

"..." Rafaela was speechless. She had pulled out the sharp silver claws and healed him partially. That 8th Rank old man’s injury wouldn’t lead him to death.

That old man was still injured but no longer suffered from demonic energy contamination or bleeding. He only needed so dical treatnt and healing potions to return to a healthy state.

"Stop dramatizing your situation, sir. The grim reaper won’t take your life today. Go to a nearby hospital and buy so high-tier healing potions. At the very least, grieve for those who have died in your ambush operations." Gabriella sighed as she couldn’t stand that stupid drama.

Nearly twenty people were killed by the red demon, but hundreds of other bodies were inside that cave.

She wondered why the nearby righteous sect and renowned clans were so slow to handle this precarious situation.

A demon was running wild near their territory, yet they only dispatched an 8th Rank expert when the threat was about to rise to 7th Rank.

They should squash the enemy with an overwhelming force and a well-planned strategy to eradicate a troubleso demon!

"Huh?" Elder Ping was stunned. His pale complexion was no longer so pale anymore. He failed to notice it, but he wouldn’t greet death today.

He was no longer bleeding, only a few internal physical injuries remained.

The grieving disciples were also stunned. They wiped their tears, then bowed down to the mysterious experts.

Gabriella and her juniors soon finished their examination. No evil demon residue was left on anyone’s body, including the dead and the bones in the cave.

They only left a few instructions to bury the dead.

Then, they imdiately disappeared from the vicinity with instant teleportation.

"The Guardian of Dream, huh... I heard this mysterious organization’s na when I ventured out several years ago. Have any of you heard of this organization?" Elder Ping stroked his beard.

"This is the first ti I’ve heard of it."

"Regardless, this mysterious organization is the one who eradicates the evil. It is in line with our righteous sect’s purpose."

"So, the unknown friends from afar?"

"I heard about it a few months ago. The Guardian of Dream is a mysterious organization thriving in the Breacasian Empire."

"Yeah, I’ve been there and heard one or two rumours about them. I heard the Guardian of Dream is the secret backer from many big organizations there."

"Hmm..." Elder Ping shrugged his shoulders. He then instructed his people and other juniors to bring the fallen warriors to their holands.

Also, he had to seek so treatnt right away as he was still injured.

So people were about to check into the demon’s cave, but Elder Ping suddenly stopped anyone from entering the cave.

"Let’s leave the rest to the reinforcents. We are unable to face another hardship in our current situation." Elder Ping gave a suggestion before going with his people using a prominent flying board artifact.
