Twelve days had passed since Ely started her closed-door cultivation.
It began in the morning after breakfast and ended at nightfall. She continued her cultivation when she was asleep using formations and spells. She even skipped dinner a few tis because of that routine.
It was like seclusion, where one would cultivate in a closed room without disturbance. However, Ely didn’t do it to improve her cultivation base or strength... she did it to raise her stats with her personal resources and treasures.
Ely woke up from her cultivation sleep. The spells and formation arrays had disappeared, indicating the catalysts and spirit stones had been used up.
Ely propelled her body to sit. She checked her savings and found less than three kilograms of tier-3 spirit stones left.
In the last twelve days since she started her seclusion, she spent many resources raising her stats. She did it wholeheartedly without the slightest hesitation. As a result, the personal savings she had accumulated for five years were nearly depleted.

With the Moonstar Emblem and the Resistance Star artifacts made by Zi Xuan, she could raise her defence, including her CON, by 20%. Therefore, she only had to hunt down one Evil Demon God, and she could unseal her Goddess Master next month!
"Hmm-mm~" Ely took out a tir from her subspace.
It was twenty-eight hours before she could return to the sacred ground and perform her monthly ritual. She could only et her Goddess Master tomorrow afternoon.
After that, Ely checked her grimoire’s quest page. The missions listed could barely interest her. Her current objective was to hunt down an Evil Demon God.
"Fate brought them out for to handle in succession last month, but it’s pretty quiet now. Please let know if there are one or two bad guys you want to handle. I shall try my best to slay them." Ely prayed in a whisper-like voice. She prayed to her Goddess Master and other Godly beings who might be watching over her.
After a few seconds of silence, Ely closed her grimoire and placed it back into her subspace. She deactivated the soundproof barrier before leaving her bedroom to greet the day.
"Hmm?" Yuuki turned to the side when she heard noises from Ely’s humble abode.
Ely opened the door and found Yuuki sitting right outside her house. She smiled warmly. "Thank you for protecting when I was in closed-door cultivation."
"Mm, that is what I have to do. Would you like so breakfast?"
"Yes, please."
Yuuki then floated to the kitchen and brought so breakfast out.
"Are you alone, Yuuki?" Ely looked left and right, but she couldn’t find anyone within a two-hundred-ter radius.
Apart from Sakura and Zi Xuan, Yuuki was the only one who stayed behind.
"Those two lively spirits accompany . However, the others have so urgent matters they must do." Yuuki pointed up the tree and then served breakfast to Ely.
"Would you like to eat breakfast with ?" Ely replied with a subtle nod and invited Yuuki to accompany her for breakfast. It would be lonely if it was only her.
"With pleasure." Yuuki happily accepted the invitation. She sat next to Ely and then asked. "Are you going to go into seclusion again after breakfast?"
"No, that’s enough. I will go cultivate again next month if it is necessary." Ely sipped her warm tea gracefully.
"I’m glad to hear that. Do you have any instructions for ?" Yuuki also sipped her tea.
"Um, they were still here yesterday, but it’s just us here now. Can you please elaborate on what they might be doing right now?" Ely opened a topic of conversation.
Yuuki gladly elaborated on where the others had gone.
Evelyn and Kirara just went out yesterday afternoon to investigate the overnight disappearance of three middle-class righteous sects.

"..." Ely gaped in astonishnt after hearing Yuuki’s report.
The righteous sects and renowned clans near the border were annihilated. They considered the threat trivial and were still arrogant by not sending their best experts to solve the problems in their territory earlier.
Her disciples did their routine duties as usual and would return at dusk, but Gabriella led a squad to hunt down the red demon. Evelyn and Kirara were also there.
The ntioned red demon wasn’t even listed in her grimoire as a threat that needed to be dealt with imdiately, and that was why she didn’t consider the matter anything significant.
The ancient demons set out to attack the Demon Realm yesterday, and Sylvia joined in on the chaos...

A few seconds later, she realized what she had just said. She could connect the dots about why her grimoire didn’t consider the red demon a threat. There wasn’t any noteworthy mission for him either.
It was because her prayer was only aid at the red demon’s personal threat, not his overall threat taking everything into account.
But! She only has a few usable SS Rank weapons. The others were still on cooldown and could only be used next week. Also, she had to perform her sacred ritual tomorrow. Therefore, she shouldn’t leave Sacred Mountain until tomorrow.
"Err... Yuuki, could you catch up with them and back them up should anything unexpected happen? If you help them, everything will be finished sooner than expected." Ely asked for help sowhat awkwardly.
"Sure, but you must promise not to go anywhere until I return. I may only need an hour or two for it." Yuuki raised her pinky finger.
She was willing to exterminate the said demon, but her priority was still Ely’s safety.
"Mm, I’ll be waiting for you at our shrine abode. I won’t be going anywhere until you return. Even so, please let know when things get out of hand. I’ll teleport to your location right away to back you up." Ely intertwined her pinky finger with Yuuki’s.
"Okay. Then, I’m off." Yuuki was relieved. She took out a teleportation crystal and then left the shrine abode.
"Be careful." Ely waved her hand. She watched Yuuki floating away, but Yuuki imdiately disappeared via teleportation.
