Ely listened to Evelyn’s reasoning, but she didn’t feel Evelyn needed to explain anything to her. She knew Evelyn still had so matters to deal with, and she didn’t force her friends to help her.
Sylvia, Yuuki, and her disciples were reliable in helping her solve most of the troubleso things.
Unfortunately, Evelyn felt sad because Ely left her out.
Evelyn went to tie up loose ends on the Temple of Law and the Aubourus Empire that day. She and Kirara had to enlighten the Temple of Law’s higher-ups regarding the Supre Goddess and convert them. She couldn’t just go missing when the Aubourus Empire imnsely helped her.
Not to ntion the ongoing grand magic research. Evelyn had to change the research subject and delegate that project to her trusted people.
Everything was already under control, but she found Ely, and the Guardian of Dream went into action without her...
"Mm, I will trouble you in the future then." Ely closed the matter with an apologetic smile.
"Yes, please do so. I am so free now. Please tell if you want to move into action. Ah, Kirara and I also hope to move here. We have taken care of everything and tied up the loose ends in Human Realm. We can devote ourselves to the Supre Goddess and help you now." Evelyn pumped her fists up and down as if eager to do sothing.
"Hum-mm~" Kirara nodded in agreent.
"Mm, my pleasure. We need to build a new house for you tomorrow. For now, you can spend the night in the guest room at the disciple building." Ely put her hands together as she was glad to hear that.
"We’ve brought our own portable house. We’ll build it soon on the vacant lot in the backyard." Evelyn appreciated it, but she was well-prepared.
"Ah, okay." Ely sipped her hot chocolate. They then talked about pleasant matters while enjoying a light dinner.
As the night wore on, Ely closed the night chat and excused herself as it was ti for her to sleep.
"Good night." Evelyn waved her hand before Ely walked into the bedroom.
"Um, goodnight." Ely rubbed her eyes and raised her hand in response. She then entered her bedroom and closed the door.
"Sakura, please accompany Ely. Eve, Kirara, go with . Sylvi, you too." Yuuki stood up from her seat.
"Alright." Evelyn nodded in understanding. She and Kirara then walked out of Ely’s humble abode. They had to erect a new house for them.
Sakura nodded but remained on the table. Zi Xuan rested her head on her arms.
As for Sylvia, she was already wearing her pajamas and was about to enter Ely’s bedroom.
Unfortunately, Yuuki imdiately dragged the devil girl away from there. "Don’t disturb Ely’s sleep. She needs a peaceful beauty sleep."
"Hey, I don’t want to sleep outside anymore. Ely is sleeping alone. Let fix that." Sylvia propelled her body forward to resist Yuuki’s insistence.
"I’m more worried about letting you sleep with Ely alone. You can always go to the guestroom or build a new house. Sakura is here and more reliable than you for miscellaneous things." Yuuki then grabbed Sylvia’s devil horns.
"No, not my horns. Okay, I get it. Not tonight, then. I’ll go to the guestroom." Sylvia went stiff and imdiately gave in when Yuuki was about to pull her horns.
Yuuki and Sylvia ca out of Ely’s humble abode. They helped Evelyn and Kirara build a new house, but Evelyn’s portable house was an oversized magic item. The house assembled and made itself without them having to do anything.
Seeing everyone had left, Zi Xuan opened her eyes and floated into Ely’s room.
Sakura imdiately followed the Immortal Saintess as she had to watch over this spiritual entity.
"Holy Maiden Ely, I remained silent about this before, but why do you have a faint breath of the upper realm? Did you just co back from there, or did you et soone from there?" Zi Xuan nudged Ely’s arm and spoke in a whisper-like voice.
"Hm? It’s you, Zi Xuan. Yes, I brought soone from the upper realm hostage and brought him back to you. His punishnt would wait, but I’m sure you want to know a thing or two from him." Ely looked to the side.
"What? Oh, so that’s why... Soone from the upper realm? Good. I can ask him about sothing. Who is he?" Zi Xuan’s eyes glistened, and her expression brightened.
"That will wait until tomorrow morning. It’s already late, and you must be sleepy too. Would you like to sleep next to ? How does a ghost sleep?" Ely shifted sideways to make room on her bed.
"I, uh, I’ll be resting on the couch then." Zi Xuan floated to the nearby sofa and lay down there.
"Oh, okay. Then, Sakura will be here with ." Ely beckoned for the little pink spirit to co closer.
Sakura then sat on the bed and leaned against Ely’s tummy.
Zi Xuan stared at Ely, unable to rest because of her train of thought. She wondered who Ely had kidnapped, how Ely could bring soone from the upper realm, and many other things.
However, she was aware that Ely was tired and sleepy. She shouldn’t be selfish and pestered Ely to answer everything right away. It was only a few hours of sleep.
She wished morning would co sooner. That way, she could directly interrogate that person. It had been thousands of years since that day, and she had to know about her clan’s fate after her parents sent her to the mortal world in that cold blue coffin.

Several hours later, the morning sun erged on the eastern horizon.
Ely woke up fresh and fit. She propelled her body to sit up and stretch her arms a little.
Sakura was asleep on her tummy. This pink tree spirit was tiny and adorable. She couldn’t help but give Sakura a head pat.
When she turned her head to the side, she found a particular ghost staring at her, right next to her.
Ely remained calm and gave Zi Xuan a head pat as well. It wasn’t even a jumpscare because the ghost was as pretty as a fairy.
"Why did you give a head pat?" Zi Xuan complains about Ely’s treatnt of her. Still, she doesn’t hate it as she already recognized this holy maiden as a good, reliable person.
"That is my way of conveying my sentint and affection. Do you hate my approach?" Ely retracted her hand and then got up from her bed.
"Is that so? Then, I allow you."
"Anyway, did you have enough sleep?"
"Um, yeah..."
Zi Xuan glanced to the side. She couldn’t even get any rest because her mind was restless and curious about the person from the upper realm who was held hostage by Ely.
"Nevermind. Tell about the person you brought. Is he really soone from the upper realm? What’s his na, and what is his background?" Zi Xuan imdiately followed Ely.
"He is an 11th Rank demonic black serpent. His path is the dao of poison, and he introduces himself as the God of Poison. He is the Tiangong Sacred Land’s great ancestor and the guard of one of the Heavenly Sects in the upper realm." Ely spoke as she walked out but suddenly stopped in the doorway and asked. "Do you know him?"
"This- uhm... no." Zi Xuan scratched her head awkwardly. She could barely rember anyone other than her family mbers.
However, she would use the opportunity to interrogate the person from the upper realm. That person probably knew sothing about her clan.
"Tell where that person is. I can interrogate and punish him for you." Zi Xuan was so enthusiastic.
"Hmm~ We haven’t decided what to do with him. He was about to destroy our Sacred Sakura but failed miserably." Ely tapped her chin and walked out again. She wished to et her friends first.
"Then, we can kill him after he is no longer useful." Zi Xuan pressed her lips. She thought ordinary punishnt was inappropriate for such an offender.
"We will do so important things soon, and I hope for your cooperation, Zi Xuan."
"Shh... Okay, I get it. But please don’t call by that na... I am Xi Xuan. If that’s too hard for you to rember, Xuan’er is fine too."
"Okay. After interrogating the villain with Sylvi, I hope you can help with my magic research."
"That’s easy. But, that devil girl, huh... Alright. I might need a devil’s assistant to interrogate a demon."
Ely replied with a satisfied smile after getting Zi Xuan to agree to help her.
In recent tis, she received many unknown items. She wished to identify them, and Zi Xuan’s knowledge would be helpful. After all, so of those items ca from God-tier existences.
She also wished to conduct magic research to create an artifact or magic item to raise one’s body constitution quality. That way, she might only need to find an Evil God, eliminate it, and then unseal her Goddess Master in her next sacred ceremony.
