Three days after their match against Real Sociedad, Unique FC had to face Zetero United in a league match.
It was an easy ga as the current best team in Bilbeth blasted through their opponents, three goals with no response.
There were a total of five league gas left for them now and with every win, they continued to sustain their lead at the top of the table.
Their only problem now was the fact that Supre United were fighting back relentlessly.
There was only a two-point gap between both teams, so it was a ga to see who would slip up first.
Any slip-up from Supre United and the league title would move further away from them.
Any slip-up from Unique FC and Supre United would replace them at the top of the table. With five gas left, there was no guarantee that they would ss up after returning to the top.
Following their schedule, Unique FC faced Real Sociedad on Thursday that sa week at the Wondanimo stadium.
The fans and pundits had a lot of expectations going into the match.
So were expecting Real Sociedad to turn things around in a fashionable manner while others were curious to see how the ho team would defend their lead.
In summary, everyone expected sothing exciting from the match.
Unfortunately, they were all t with great disappointnt.
Well, let's just say that the second eting between Real Sociedad and Unique FC was quite a boring one.
It was a goalless match which had Unique FC playing defensively for most of the match. Although, they didn't exactly park the bus.
The only form of excitent that ca from the match was that both teams managed to score two tis.
Unfortunately, all four goals were ruled out for offside.
The match ending in a draw was a disappointing result for Real Sociedad but for Unique FC, this was considered a huge victory as they had successfully made it through to the semi-final of the Europa Conference League.
Their opponent for the final round was the Italian side Florentina, a team that just managed to scrape through the quarter-finals after a two-legged tie that ended in a penalty shootout.
With the match with Real Sociedad over, the players were back in the locker room.
As always, Minino was leading the locker room celebration and he seed to be much more vibrant and wild today as they had successfully made it through to the next round of the tournant.
Dave had just returned from the restroom and was scrolling through his phone as he walked into the locker room.
It didn't take him long to lay his eyes on an important piece of information as he walked toward a seat.
"Lazio, no joy." He couldn't help but comnt as he shook his head.
With his gaze still on his phone's screen, he slowly sat down beside Mateo who was just sitting there swinging his feet back and forth.
"What?" The winger asked before turning to him.
"See for yourself." He responded, showing him his phone.
It didn't take Mateo long to see what he wanted him to see but he didn't look as surprised as the goalkeeper did when he first saw it. It was like he expected it.
"If they could score six against them last week then there's no surprise if they choose to just settle for four this week." The winger said before relaxing back in his seat.
"Makes sense." Dave nodded.
They were talking about Lazio, which had just made it through to the semi-final in the other bracket of the tournant after beating their opponents with an aggregate scoreline of ten goals to nothing.
'Doesn't really count as an actual treble because of the Europa Conference League, but I suppose it counts as a minor one; we'll take what we can get.'
Ignoring her last statent, Dave brought up the system screen to take a look at sothing that had been bothering him for a while now.

'Is this thing going to ever level up again?'
The reason he was asking that question was because he had been getting less and less exp for everything now.
It was starting to get ridiculous as the system would sotis promise him just twenty experience points for a quest that he would usually get two hundred for completing in the past.
It was like it was deliberately trying to make things hard for him but it wasn't like it really mattered at this point. His dependence on the system was getting weaker with every passing day.
'Probably not?'
'Yeah, right.'

The next day, the players all had to report to the training ground for recovery training.
They spent most of their training hours in the gym, but after a while, so of them began to make their way to the pitch for a little bit of practical training.
On one side, there were a group of players passing the ball around with soone in the middle trying to get hold of the ball.
On the other side, there was Minino, who had Roland under his arm as both of them struggled on the ground.
"I wonder what Roland did to offend him this ti," Dave muttered as he quickly walked past the two.
The last thing he wanted was to get dragged into their scuffle.
He was about to find a place by the side and sit down when he suddenly heard the sound of a ball hitting the woodwork.
He quickly turned toward the area to see Gregory, the youngest striker and player in the team.
The youngster was standing about twenty-five yards away from the goalpost with a couple of balls around him. It was obvious what he was doing.
Before he knew it, Dave was already walking toward him.
The youngster noticed the goalkeeper approaching and smiled politely before waving at him.
"What are you doing?" Dave asked just after stopping in front of him.
"Practicing my shooting."
He quickly kicked up a ball at that mont before bringing it down to trap it under his foot.
The youngster rolled the ball forward and was about to kick it when sothing suddenly kicked in his mind.
He suddenly stopped in his tracks before turning to the goalkeeper.
"That's right, you're one of the best shooters in the team, your shooting accuracy isn't that much inferior to Mateo's." There was a sudden spark of enthusiasm in his voice as he moved closer to the goalkeeper.
"That might be because I take fewer shots than everyone else." Dave smiled.
"It's still impressive for a goalkeeper. Anyone who's seen you take free kicks would agree."
"I suppose," Dave said in response.
"So, do you have any technique that helps improve your accuracy without sacrificing much of your shot power?"
Gregory's eyes were practically glowing now as he stared at him.
"Technique?"
'To be honest, I've never really thought much about that; most of the ti, I just look at the target and shoot.'
