"That was a very long walk." The goalkeeper said before opening the door to his house.

He took off his running boots and threw them to the side before turning his gaze to the already set up table in the dining area.

"She must have already left for work." He muttered as he made his way to the table and when he got closer, he discovered that sothing wasn't exactly right. "She never leaves the food open like this before leaving, she must still be here then."

He made his way upstairs and to the room where he found her fast asleep on the bed.

"Why would she go back to bed after making breakfast?"

He made his way to the cupboard beside the bed and picked up his phone to see that the ti was 8:11 AM.

"That's strange, doesn't she plan on going to work today?" He said before slowly sitting beside her.
