My Goalkeeping System Chapter 2 Another Big Defeat

Despite conceding an early goal, Unique FC tried to keep their composure and keep their minds on the right track in order to get back to the ga.

"Unique FC dominating ball possession as always." The comntator said."Jim, what do you think is wrong with Unique FC? They play good passes and play good football but…"

"Their problem cos from all positions in the pitch except the midfield, their defence isn't that great but that Adolf makes up for that most of the ti, their goalkeeper isn't that great either and their strikers seem to be lacking in the finishing departnt," Jim explained.

A pass was played from Unique FC's right back to the middle to their midfield Dynamo Ferran Phil.

A Supre United player was already coming for him with great speed but the midfielder was calm and imdiately the player was close to him, he kicked it up and did an overhead kick, passing the player without making contact with him.

"That was so neat skills from Ferran and now he's leading the attack."

Ferran ran through the middle and stopped when he saw that three defenders were blocking his way at the edge of the box, he played a pass to Unique FC's right-winger, Carlos Oman.

Carlos ran down the right-wing with the ball, he feigned crossing to get the defender chasing him out of the way, and then turning back with the ball he delivered the cross to the middle.

The ball was nodded away by a Supre United player only to fall towards Ferran who brought the ball down with his chest and imdiately delivered a cross to the left-wing.

Mateo already understood what Ferran was about to do before he did it, breaking away from the clustered Supre United players, he raced towards the ball and delivered a side foot volley at the bottom right of the post, the keeper had no chance of stopping that as he tried to get a hand to it.

"That's the equalizer from Mateo Smith!!!!." The comntator scread. "What a volley?"

"That was a nice cross from Ferran, he has great vision," Jim said.

Mateo had imdiately raced to the side as his teammates all chased him, he did a slide and his teammates fell on top of him, that was a really nice goal, that ball was almost out of play but he managed to convert it into a beautiful goal.

"That's goal number ten for Mateo this season and Ferran still leads in assists with fifteen assists." The comntator said.

"They are really struggling to rise this season but let's see how long they will last? Let's see how long they can keep Supre United quiet." Jim said.

They weren't going to keep Supre United quiet for long as they had imdiately entered beast mode, sure Unique FC was still leading in possession but they didn't seem to be getting the ball through anymore.

A mistid pass from Unique FC's midfielder Roger David was imdiately stolen by a Supre FC midfielder who quickly played the pass to his teammate.

A pass was played to their right-back who quickly played the pass to Roland, seeing that he couldn't get past, Roland played the pass back to the player behind him.

No one expected a player to shoot from so far out but the player did it as he delivered a threatening shot to Unique FC's goal post, for a goalkeeper a shot from that far out wouldn't be a threat but for Dave it was.

He took a deep breath and raised his hands to catch the ball but he had miscalculated where the ball was going, that was a very big mistake from Dave as the ball slid on his gloves and fell into the post.

"What the heck was that?" The comntator said, sounding shocked. "He didn't catch that?"

"No Steve he didn't," Jim said.

"Who knew a shot from that far out would go in but when you have Dave Richard between the sticks you can expect anything."

The moods of Unique FC's players had turned sour again and most of them were shooting daggers at Dave.

"A shot from that far out and you couldn't even catch it!" Jonas Blue, Unique FC's left-back scread out his frustration at the goalkeeper.

"Calm down Jonas, we shouldn't get disorganized now all we have to do now is to keep our focus and try to get an equalizer," Adolf said.

"That's all we try to do, get equalizers. We never try to go for winning goals because this basket here always gives away the tiniest of goals that would have made a difference if saved." Jonas said and stord off.

"That goal wasn't exactly my fault," Dave said.

He didn't get any reply just shooting daggers from the players he didn't have the strength to speak.

Adolf talked about getting an equalizer but there wasn't going to be an equalizer as two more goals flew into their net before the halfti whistle, giving Supre United a three goals lead at halfti and all goals had been the fault of Dave.

The third goal had been a little tap from Roland inside the box, any Goalkeeper would have kept that but he was off balance and the ball had gone in.

​ The fourth goal was really embarrassing, he had knocked a corner played in from the left into his own post in the attempt to punch it out.

Coming back to the second half the morale of Unique FC players was really low and most of them had lost hope of winning even though they weren't showing it.

"Ok, we are back to witness the rest of the ga," Steve said. "The first half was really one-sided with Supre United scoring first and then Mateo restoring hope to Unique FC but too many errors from their goalkeeper had taken this one far away from them."

"Yeah, really far away considering how well Supre defends whenever they are winning," Jim added.

The first half kicked off and Unique FC didn't seem to be finding the rhythm to their ga anymore.

"Oh dear, it's as if the only thing Unique FC players are doing is trying to knock the ball away, they are not even trying to attack."

Soon their defences began to crumble too, leading to Supre United getting three more goals before the end of the match.

Unique FC players didn't waste ti storming off the pitch imdiately after they heard the final whistle.

"What a match, seven goals to one, Roland with a hat trick," Steve said.

"I think that brings us to the end of this coverage. It is full-ti, Unique FC one, Supre United seven." Jim concluded the broadcast.
