"Of course, I was a bit worried coming into the match, I was with a couple of my teammates on Sunday night when Lesica United were playing against Razid FC, we weren't watching the match together because that wasn't what we were there to do but we were keeping up with the updates and when we found out that Okafor scored a hat trick in nineteen minutes, we all got scared." Dave narrated.
The goalkeeper had been caught up in the hallway by a blonde-haired female journalist who wanted to interview him and right now he was answering her questions.
"Mateo was like, he ca off the bench in the second half and scored a hat trick against Frono FC, he was the only one who didn't act scared, it's sad that he wasn't able to be part of this match, it would have been so much easier for us but still I'm glad we managed to get the win for him and for the team."
"Okay, Unique FC your team are going to be in the conference league next season which ans that you will be in the conference league next season, how do you feel about it? How do you feel about getting to play your first European competition?" She asked.
"Glad," Dave said with a shrug. "It has been a long journey for us this season, lots of mistakes, a few good monts and I'm glad all those few good monts were able to fuse into this one big good mont today, at first we thought we couldn't do it but our coach told us how important it was to qualify for the spot and told us that we had to fight hard to get it and that's what we did."
"Alright, Dave, that will be all for today." She said before bringing her microphone down. "I'll see you next ti, thank you."
"Okay," Dave said before he turned and began to make his way to the locker room.
There were a lot of staff in the area, it was all congratulations, handshakes, and hugs for the goalkeeper until he got through to the locker room.
"We wouldn't have been able to pull this through if it weren't for your decisiveness." Norman was waiting for the goalkeeper at the entrance to the locker room. "You're really starting to beco a clutch player, your father will be really proud of you."
Dave didn't say anything until he slowly got closer to him.
"I don't think you know my father that much." He muttered before making his way into the room where his teammates were chanting, jumping, and dancing, and a lot of them had drinks in their hands.
As soon as Dave entered the room, he was grabbed by two of his teammates who quickly lifted him up on their shoulders.
The players who lifted him up were none other than Adolf and Luis Roberto.
"Cheers to the most clutch player on the team today!" Adolf yelled at the top of his voice.
"Yeah, this match could have ended in a very different way if it wasn't for him." Luis Roberto said.
"Just a few lucky saves and an unintentional assist and now they are calling him the most clutch." Jonas pouted before folding his arms.
"Can't you just be happy for your teammate for once?" Minino said.
The midfielder was standing beside him and he clearly heard what he said.
"I never said I was unhappy, I'm just saying he wasn't the most clutch player since rino won man of the match," Jonas said.
Minino didn't even let him finish what he was saying as he ran off to join his teammates in running around the place while chanting.

"I think we won't be having any training sessions for a while now, see you later Dave," Adolf said before he started to hear off toward his car.
"Okay, goodbye," Dave said before he began to head to his car.
The goalkeeper walked to his car and kept his hand on the door handle for a while before pulling it open and entering the car.

Dave didn't reply to her as he started the car and zood off toward his ho.
The celebration in the locker room had taken a lot of ti so by the ti he got ho the ti was 6:30 PM which ant that Emma was already ho.
He parked his car in his usual parking spot and stared off through the glass for a while before he dipped his hands into his pocket and brought out the ring case.
He stared at it for a while before putting it back in his pocket and stepping out from the car.
He walked to the door and stared at it for a while before bringing out his phone from her pocket and dialing Emma's number.
Emma was having a glass of water in the kitchen when her phone began to vibrate on top of the fridge.
"Dave." She muttered before picking up the call. "Hey, where are you?"
"Co outside," Dave said.
"Why? Are you outside?" She asked.
"Just co outside." He said.
"Okay." She said before he ended the call. "I wonder what the surprise is now."
She dropped the glass on the sink and adjusted her dress before making her way outside.
She opened the door and stepped out to see Dave standing there with his hands stuck in his pockets.
"Hey." She said with a smile on her face.
"You haven't changed yet, that's good," Dave said before quickly grabbing her by her arm and making his way toward his car.
"What's going on?" Emma asked with a confused expression on his face.
"I want to show you sothing." He said after getting to the car. "And don't ask what it is because it's a surprise."
Emma didn't say anything as she watched him open the door and enter the car.
'A surprise.' She thought.
"Okay." She said before opening the door and entering the car.
