"Mateo shoots! Mateo scores!"
The winger offloaded a shot toward the bottom right side of the post where the keeper couldn't deal, he dived toward the ball but he couldn't get his hand to it on ti as the ball rolled into the back of the net.
"Unbelievable!" Jim exclaid as the winger took off to the sidelines and was pulled down by rino on the way before his teammates began to fall on his body.
"Unique FC's magic man has done it again, that's magisterial!"
The fans were screaming and clapping in joy even so of the opposing fans were clapping after witnessing that goal from Mateo Smith.
"Mateo! Mateo! Mateo!"
That was what the fans were chanting.
"They've finally gotten that equalizer and still have enough ti to push for a winner all thanks to their boy wonder," Steve said.
"Yes!" Mateo yelled after getting up from the floor, then he turned and waved to the fans before making his way back to their side of the pitch so that the match could continue.
"It's been less than three minutes since he entered the pitch and he put up a nice effort to get the equalizer, that's how big of an impact Mateo Smith can be for Unique FC whenever he is on the pitch," Jim said. "That's his twenty-fourth goal of the season."
The clock was showing seventy-eight minutes now as Darwin stood over the kick-off spot waiting for the referee's whistle.
"Yes," Dave muttered under his breath. "We just need to go for the winner now."
'Yeah, that's karma for unjustifiably denying us that penalty kick.'
