The unknown person then went offline, leaving Ray with a barrage of questions.

Ray had no idea what was happening.

He recalled everything from the first ti he started playing the VRMMORPG ga, Apex Survival, to the present mont, where he wasn’t even in the ga but the ga itself had seemingly turned into reality.

Then he rembered the black box hidden sowhere in the pocket dinsion.

Ray began searching for it and soon found the hand-sized black box placed in a serene spot. He approached it with curiosity and vigilance, not knowing what it was but determined to find out.

He touched its tal surface and then opened the lid, hoping to find sothing extraordinary, but what he found inside was a scroll and nothing else.

He picked it up and began reading its content.

[Skill Scroll]

[Once you tear this scroll, you can use your powers freely, without needing to use a magic headset.]

"What?"

Ray stumbled back when he read it.

It didn’t give much description, but whatever was written on it was clear to Ray. ’If I tear it, then I can use my skills in this world too?’ he thought, his hands shaking as he held the scroll.

Slowly but surely, he began believing the change happening to him. This also started him worrying about the upcoming apocalypse in his own world.

"I need to talk to that man; I have found out everything." His curiosity intensified with every second. Then, without much hesitation, he tore the scroll.

Although he felt nothing, he knew that only after leaving this place could he know the details.

’I also need to return ASAP.’ He thought of Ahana and Grandpa, then his eyes landed on his first car, which he found inside Apex Survival.

It was the yellow, broken Humr with its engine missing. Luckily, he now had many of them. He looked at his collection of 35 cars to find a suitable one he could modify with his Humr.

There, his eyes landed on the GMC Sierra.

It was another beast of a car, but Ray chose the Humr over the Sierra and decided to use his skills, Restore and Modification, to give the Humr a new look.

He also used other spare car parts and various items to remodel it into an armored arsenal car. Once he used these two skills, a magical transformation occurred.

[Auto-Armoured Car: Humr]

[Life: 100%].

Ray now stood in front of his brand-new Humr. It was its original yellow color, but unlike the modified cars he’d seen inside Apex Survival, the car in front of him looked completely normal on the outside.

He knew it couldn’t be normal, though. He sat inside and pressed a hidden button. Suddenly, with a low chanical whir, the extra tal on the roof began transforming into a cannon on top and an LMG on the lower end.

"Now this is sothing new," Ray thought. ’it’s ti to leave.’

He thought of an exit, and a portal instantly materialized in front of him.

Ray exited the pocket dinsion and landed in the sa spot where he had vanished earlier.

The grassy plain was still stained with his blood. His eyes then fell upon Rohan’s scooter, which was flattened in the back from the heavy impact of the assailant’s car.

He stored the scooter back in his pocket dinsion, planning to restore it later and give it back to Rohan.

"It worked!" he muttered as the scooter vanished.

He hadn’t been sure if the words on the scroll would be real, but they had proven to be true. He moved toward the road and summoned his shining yellow Humr.

Ray got in and accelerated toward Rohan’s house, hoping he wasn’t too late.

Ray didn’t have ti to dwell on how everything had changed so suddenly. His only priority was to ensure Ahana and her grandfather were safe.

...

anwhile, just as the man called Red Hand predicted, another group of people arrived at Rohan’s house. Not only them, but the village head also appeared, who began yelling at the old man, Rohan’s grandfather.

anwhile, just as the man called Red Hand predicted, another group of people arrived at Rohan’s house. Not only them, but the village head also appeared, who began yelling at the old man, Rohan’s grandfather.

"Old Man Shan, why are you being so stubborn?" the village chief sneered, his voice dripping with arrogance.

"Selling your land to the Dunkens would solve all your problems. Are a few acres of dirt really worth this much suffering?"

Old Man Shan, his back straight, he directly looked into chief’s eyes, retorted, "You have no sha, Chief! You’re working with outsiders, forcing us to sell our own land for an unfair price! This land has been in our family for generations!"

The chief let out a harsh laugh. "Unfair price? It’s a generous offer for a worthless piece of land. Isn’t living a good life better than suffering your whole life as a lowlife farr?"

He gestured to the people with him, who were becoming impatient. "Stop wasting our ti." The chief’s mocking tone vanished, replaced by a cold, hard anger.

"Why did you have to involve that outsider boy, your old fool?" he growled. "Do you have a death wish?"

Hearing this, Ahana’s face paled. "Where is brother Ray?" she asked, her voice trembling with a sudden, terrible premonition.

The chief’s eyes narrowed. "That’s what I’m asking," he said, the nace in his voice palpable. "Where is he?"

The village chief’s question confused both Old Man Shan and Ahana. Why would he be asking where Ray was when Ray had left to find Rohan and her father—the very reason these people had shown up in the first place?

Just then, they all heard a deep rumble, the sound of a powerful engine echoing through the quiet air.

VROOM!

RUMBLE

RUMBLE

RUMBLE!

Every head turned toward the sound, their eyes widening in bewildernt. A bright yellow vehicle ca into view, but it was no ordinary car. With its heavy, imposing fra, it looked more like a fortified mini-truck than a regular vehicle.

Who could it be? they all wondered.

Their question was answered as Ray stepped out of the driver’s seat. He held his magic gun—in his hand. His expression was grim, and a heavy tension radiated from him as he walked toward the house.

"Brother Ray!" Ahana exclaid, her eyes fixed on his blood-soaked clothes.
