So players were ranting about the "heinous" Vill-V. Others were praising her voice acting.

But most were watching the story unfold—seriously.

When i heard the "heinous" Vill-V's question, she remained silent.

Vill-V didn't mind. She simply continued speaking.

She poured out her agony to i—how she, as the "landfill," had been imprisoned in the Sea of Quanta for 50,000 years.

And how those 50,000 years of darkness gave birth to overwhelming hatred.

Upon hearing this, the players could sowhat understand why this version of Vill-V had gone completely mad.

But understanding was one thing… the grudge of Cat Cat's death could never be forgiven!

No matter what, they were determined to reject all versions of sheer-curtain Vill-V.

anwhile, in the ga—

The "heinous" Vill-V kept talking.

Even if her "sentence" had no visible end, she claid villains never feel despair. She was Vill-V, and not even fifty millennia of darkness could crush her.

She'd simply been patiently waiting—for a chance.

And at last… it ca.

"When a Herrscher visited Elysian Realm, do you know what I thought?"

"Unfortunately… she wasn't an executor of Honkai. In fact, she was too bound by order. Boring. She left without catching Vill-V's interest."

"But soon, she ca back. And this ti… she brought sothing else."

"Let's just call it 'that thing.' For Elysian Realm, it would beco a catastrophic disaster—and I've always been eager to fan the flas."

If things were still bearable up to this point, these last few lines sent a shockwave through the player base.

i had left once—back when Kiana was fighting Otto in Kolosten.

Through the space of the Will of Honkai, i linked up with Kiana and remotely lent her power.

Now that the "heinous" Vill-V had brought it up, players started making connections.

After all, i had touched the so-called Honkai god…

So bringing back so dirty data into Elysian Realm? Yeah, totally possible.

[Oh no… don't tell my i is actually at fault?!]

[Wait—is the killer… really ?!]

[Could "that thing" be the Herrscher of Corruption? Did i bring in a virus and it hijacked the antivirus?!]

[Now that you ntion it, it was after i returned that Aponia approached her and prophesied "Elysian Realm will be destroyed in ten days."]

With just a sliver of truth revealed, players imdiately linked a flood of past events. The fog over the plot began to lift. The situation was finally becoming clear.

In-ga—

The "heinous" Vill-V was still speaking to i.

After i brought it into Elysian Realm, Vill-V had detected the intruder almost imdiately—but she had misjudged its nature.

And paid dearly for that mistake.

It devoured the Specialist.

The other personalities noticed sothing was wrong and acted quickly—

The Conductor diverted it to the sector occupied by the "heinous" Vill-V. Just like how they'd previously dealt with "Commandnt."

This had been ntioned in Elysia's earlier side story:

Back then, Vill-V had concentrated Commandnt's power on the "Lecturer" persona and erased her, thus escaping its influence.

Now, the Conductor intended to do the sa—

It was isolated in the sector of the "heinous" Vill-V, and they planned to completely delete that sector of consciousness.

To eliminate the threat.

But clearly… the Conductor had failed.

The "heinous" Vill-V betrayed them.

She allied with it, broke out of her prison, and eliminated all the others.

And the reason they could cooperate? A shared goal.

A shared goal? What was it?

Players' minds echoed with the sa question. Their attention sharpened on the screen.

Vill-V looked at i with an unnervingly radiant smile and said, in a voice dripping with malice:

"A being that isn't a mory, and yet it can't do anything about…"

"If soone could erase that variable… wouldn't it be fair to consider that a friendship offering?"

"...I'll carve out a new sector, and confine you the sa way they once imprisoned . Only this ti, it'll be for eternity."

Ah. So it was all about eliminating i.

Fine. Enough talk. Bring on the boss fight already!

Players were itching to fight sheer-curtain Vill-V.

Still, before the battle began—

i tried to fish for a bit more information.

"So, Elysia… Kevin… and Mobius…"

"Can't tell you that~ I know your tricks—interrogation is your specialty."

The "heinous" Vill-V shrugged.

"I already said—all of this was a performance. So of course, the script was carefully polished."

"Naturally, I'd never let you catch any clues on how to defeat —I'm not one of those clowns who loses just because they talk too much."

[Vill-V has perfected the villain-dies-from-talking-too-much trope.]

[But I feel like she's already revealed quite a bit.]

[Think about it—maybe that info isn't useful for beating her, but for understanding "that thing"…?]

[Huh… that does make sense. It's hinting at sothing bigger.]

i realized she could get no more out of her. No longer suppressing her emotions, she raised her voice at the "heinous" Vill-V.

"Then… what about her?"

"Her?"

"Pardofelis."

The words ca out slowly, painfully. Not even when Elysia was lost did i lose control like this.

After all, Pardofelis had died in her arms.

Once again, she experienced that helplessness of "doing nothing."

Even though she now possessed strength that couldn't be shaken lightly.

Even though she was no longer weak.

All she could do… was watch as Pardofelis faded away in her arms.

Leaving behind only a single coin.

"She posed no threat to your sches. She just wanted to live."

The "heinous" Vill-V, however, was completely indifferent—her face showed not a shred of guilt.

"Oh, sure. I said it already—it was just an accident."

Her reaction made every player's blood pressure skyrocket.

i, enough talking—just draw your sword already!

They wanted nothing more than to cut Vill-V in half—no! Into eight pieces!

For Cat Cat.

For justice.

Let them swing the blade, Vill-V—fall before us!
