Jian Dan couldn’t argue with him. She shrugged, "Alright, everything my uncle Qin says is correct."

Bo Qin smiled and prepared to help her get out of bed for a walk. Recently, her wounds had started to heal, and the incisions would itch. Jian Dan wasn’t having a great ti, and Bo Qin knew, so he was quite worried.

"Ready to get up and walk a bit?"

Jian Dan looked at her son’s small face and shook her head. "Let’s wait until mom cos to watch Jianjian first. I’m not comfortable with him being alone in the hospital room."

"Afraid soone might carry him away?"

Jian Dan shook her head, surprised he would say such a thing. "Uncle Qin, with you here, who would dare to take your son away? I’m just worried he won’t sleep well by himself, and if he cries, no one will watch over him."

Bo Qin raised an eyebrow, sat on the side, and gazed at Bo Jian’s peacefully sleeping face. He thought he could spend his life alone, even if without company, he wouldn’t feel lonely. But once you have soone you care about and a child connected by blood.

Overturning any previous thoughts wouldn’t co as a surprise.

For him, it was just like that.

Bo Jian slept very quietly and sweetly, occasionally flashing a brilliant smile, dreaming of who knows what.

Bo Qin couldn’t suppress the upward curve of his lips, looking at his son’s tender little face, he turned to Jian Dan with a deep gaze. "Thank you."

"Hmm?"

This sudden thank you, where did it co from? Jian Dan looked at him, puzzled. "Where is this thank you coming from?"

Bo Qin shifted his gaze to his son’s face, moved his lips, "I never knew before that life had more possibilities, but you gave this possibility, our son and you."

Jian Dan’s eyes felt a bit warm, and she then smiled, holding Bo Qin’s hand. "Even if there’s gratitude, it should be thanking you. When I was ten, you ca into my life, giving a stable environnt, allowing to grow without worries."

At that ti, she was like a trapped beast. Her father passed away, her family forced her, and no one close to her cared about her father’s death. They were only interested in the property and house her father left behind.

It was so cold, bone-chillingly cold. His appearance beca a ray of light in the eyes of the trapped beast. Perhaps he didn’t understand that it was called redemption. If it wasn’t for Bo Qin, she couldn’t imagine how she would have lived or whether she could have held onto her father’s inheritance at such a young age.

So, strictly speaking, if there was gratitude, it should be her feeling thankful to Bo Qin.

Jian Dan blinked and continued, "Back then, when you appeared in front of , I felt it was particularly good to go with you."

Bo Qin was taken aback and then laughed. "Never regretted it?"

Jian Dan shook her head, "Never regretted, but those two years were especially difficult."

Bo Qin knew which two years she ant, the two years he neglected Jian Dan, thinking if he cut off her affection for him, everything would return to normal. But it was he who was incredibly wrong, because it was him who wanted to see her every day, perhaps Jian Dan didn’t notice.

Those two years she thought of as distant, were the two years he paid the most attention to her.

"My mistake."

But now, saying it out loud wouldn’t an anything. The point is that now he must apologize and get the young lady’s forgiveness.

Jian Dan shook her head, "You’re not wrong, but thinking back now, it’s good. At least it was a process of adjustnt in our lives, and aren’t your shackles untied now?"

Bo Qin laughed, "If your father were still around, I wouldn’t know how to face him, taking away the girl he cared so much about."

"As long as you’re good to , my father wouldn’t mind. I dreamt of him, and he said he blessed ."

Bo Qin’s eyes were very bright as he looked at Jian Dan’s smiling face, "Really?"

Jian Dan burst into laughter, "It’s fake."

Bo Qin: "..."

When Mrs. Bo arrived, she just happened to see her son tilting the young girl’s chin, about to kiss her. Her sudden arrival interrupted their intimate mont. She coughed and walked inside, stepping aside, "You can pretend you didn’t see , please continue."

Jian Dan’s face turned rosy, "Mom, you’re here?"

Mrs. Bo smiled and placed the fruit aside, walked over to Bo Jian, and picked him up while answering Jian Dan, "Yes, I ca according to the ti. Let your brother take you for a walk, it’s good for the wound’s recovery. Walk slowly, and if you feel uncomfortable, co back, alright?"

Jian Dan smiled, "Mom, we know."

Since she was still in her confinent period, she couldn’t catch a breeze. She donned a hat and a coat, ensuring there was no draft before Bo Qin took her out.
