If anyone said Jian Dan was putting on airs, they’d be utterly wrong.
She genuinely didn’t recognize them, and her eyes couldn’t lie, making her seem sowhat impolite. Jian Dan laughed awkwardly, "Sorry, I have a bit of face blindness, and I don’t really recognize your faces."

Having just returned to the country, Mi Lu hadn’t had the chance to try any decent food. At Jian Dan’s suggestion, they ended up at a pretty good Hunan restaurant. Jian Dan liked spicy food, but Mi Lu couldn’t handle it, so she ordered two dishes without chilies, yet eyeing the three spicy dishes with envy.
