Everyone looked at each other in disbelief, "So, does this an that the son of the ga movie star Bo Yan, Zhizhi, is going to attend kindergarten at our Imperial Inscription Platform?"
"Seems like it, right?"
"..."
The principal, vice-principal, and one of the teachers all stared at each other, their eyes filled with disbelief and shock. There was an urgency to share this emotion, yet an absolutely stifling feeling of not being able to speak about it.
Father and son went to the amusent park, both sporting matching fisherman hats. Bo Yan dressed casually in a dark cyan sweater and black leisure pants. Zhizhi wore an identical outfit, his hat also matching in style and color.
His physique was impressive, and the child he held was adorably cute—the pair attracted much attention upon entering the amusent park. Zhizhi wore sunglasses just like Bo Yan, even though the style matched.
They clearly wanted to be low-key but sohow stood out.
Young girls couldn’t help but fix their gazes on the father and son, continuously exchanging whispers with their companions.
"Such a handso dad, and their matching outfits, I can’t..."
"He’s already a dad, what does it have to do with you? You can’t, but what about him?"
"He looks sowhat familiar. Even though his glasses cover half of his face, that chin is definitely handso. This dad must be very attractive; I kind of want to see the full picture."
"I want to see the full picture of the baby in his arms."
" 1, too."
"Do you think, if I go over and strike up a conversation now, he’ll take for a bad guy?"
"They’ll probably think you’re hitting on them, forget about it."
As they were talking, Bo Yan walked over with Zhizhi in his arms, causing a group of young girls to huddle together, unable to contain their excitent.
However, they didn’t anticipate that Bo Yan would pass by them without a glance.
The group: "..."
Standing in front of the ice cream shop, Zhizhi tugged his sunglasses down, revealing his round, shiny black eyes, yet the lower half of his face remained fully covered.
The ice cream shop mascot: "..."
She had seen the father and son when they appeared and her gaze stuck firmly on them, hoping to catch a glimpse of one of their faces.
But contrary to all expectations, when faced with the choice of ice cream, the kid instead covered the lower half of his face. It was a complete disappointnt, truly too much of a letdown.
Zhizhi looked at the ice creams depicted in the pictures with so difficulty. The ice creams were shaped like little animals, and although he liked two of them, he was having trouble choosing. If he bought both, he wouldn’t be able to finish them.
His mother had told him not to waste food—he should only take as much as he could eat.
So, his little brows were tightly furrowed in distress.
This troubled little expression made the mascot sister in the ice cream shop feel unbearably sorry for him; she wanted to give him the world. Whose child was this? Too cute and adorable.
Who could resist?
"Can’t decide?"
Ice cream shop mascot sister: "..."
Even the dad’s voice was so soothing, like walking pheromones.
These father and son couldn’t have co to the amusent park to play; they must be here to bewitch people.
Zhizhi turned his head, wrapped his arms around Bo Yan’s neck, and said with so difficulty, "Daddy, Zhizhi wants to buy two, but Zhizhi can’t finish them. Mom said we shouldn’t waste, so Zhizhi is a bit troubled."
"You want to buy two?" Bo Yan asked, his tone laced with a touch of amusent.
Zhizhi nodded, his small eyebrows furrowing, "If I don’t buy two, Zhizhi can’t finish them, so Zhizhi is still thinking about which one he likes most, then Daddy can buy it for Zhizhi."
Bo Yan’s lips curved slightly, "Alright, then take your ti to think about it."
"Mhm."
The ice cream parlor’s doll-like attendant said, "Little friend, you can buy this one; it has a sugar heart chocolate inside that’s really delicious, with a rich creamy taste, and the exterior is a strawberry-flavored jam, shaped like a beautiful flaming bird. The flaming bird is our amusent park’s lucky animal, you know.
Further inside, there’s a Flamingo The Pavilion with lots of attractions that are suitable for kids to play with. You can buy this ice cream and enjoy it on your way to the Flamingo The Pavilion; it’ll be just perfect."
Zhizhi’s clear eyes stared at the costud girl, evidently very interested in what she was saying. Zhizhi pointed at the flamingo ice cream, "Sister, please give this one, thank you."
The attired attendant’s heart lted, and through the half-hidden shades, she could almost completely see Zhizhi’s face, feeling sohow familiar.
However, Bo Yan quickly put sunglasses on Zhizhi and whispered sothing into his ear. Zhizhi nodded at him, took the ice cream from the costud girl, and was carried away by Bo Yan as they turned to leave.
The young girls around them continued to follow with their gaze, feeling an uncanny familiarity.
...
On this side, Zhizhi and Bo Yan were safely enjoying themselves at one pavilion after another. Bo Yan wouldn’t let Zhizhi go on any of the more thrilling attractions and he clearly explained the reason why he couldn’t let him do so.
Zhizhi didn’t insist, obedient and well-behaved.
The father and son’s outing was thus deed a success.
anwhile, Yuran drove to the studio, hurriedly making her way into the building. As soon as she entered, she sensed the despondent atmosphere within; everyone she t seed hesitant to speak.
Annan heard her voice, ca out from the office directly, and handed her a tablet, "You should take a look first. The internet’s opinion of our studio is spiraling downward, just like Waterloo. They’re saying that you married the great film star Bo for resources from Diyang, to seek glory through dishonorable ans;
Your signed artists seem to be following suit, engaging in unseemly acts. We all know what this implies—there’s no need for to spell it out for you, right? Last night, Xia Ji indeed t with Xie Lingling at the hotel together with Lu Xiao, but nothing more. Xia Ji is sure that Lu Xiao spent the entire night on her bed, so there’s no chance of any script-related ’Yeguang Sect’ scandal."
What is Xie Lingling trying to imply? Is she supporting the sar campaign against our studio with her fans? Do you have a feud with her?"
Yuran pulled up the corners of her lips into a cold smile, "Let’s talk about this topic later. This Xie Lingling is a bit special. Where is Lu Xiao?"
"He’s in Qi Younian’s office, everyone’s waiting for you. Brother Kang also said that we can handle this scandal, that it’s not a big deal, but deep down it’s pretty disgusting."
"Their purpose isn’t really to bring us down to a certain point; they just want to sicken us, and it’s not sothing we need to worry about. Let’s go, talk in Qi Younian’s office."
"Sure thing."
Yuran pushed open the door to Qi Younian’s office where Lu Xiao and Xia Ji were waiting. Lu Xiao didn’t understand why his scandal had blown up so outrageously; did others perceive him as an easy target, to be pointed at so relentlessly?
He felt sowhat awkward in front of Yuran.
"Ms. Yu, about this matter, I..."
Yuran cut him off, "Lu Xiao, sit down. There’s no need to explain; I know. This person, Xie Lingling, I just so happen to know a few things about her. I’ll share with everyone."
