Holy shit—

Annan’s heart exploded with shock as she stared at her as if she were a monster, "You’re not joking, right? Miss, I checked the ti. From when you entered until you ca out, you spent a total of twenty-six minutes. And now you’re telling you’ve finished writing a song? Are you serious?"

Yuran placed the musical score on the coffee table and nodded seriously, "Really, see what you think?"

Annan felt her whole body stiffen; it wasn’t just her intelligence that had been assaulted, even common sense was about to be redefined.

When so original songwriters talk about how long they spent writing a song during interviews, complaining about the agonizing process and even losing hair, should she ever believe them again?

With a skeptical view on life, Annan lowered her eyelids and reached out to pick up the thin piece of paper in front of her. She didn’t understand much about writing music, but she could understand and hum the lody of the song.

Yuran sat beside her and spoke lightly, "This ca to before you arrived when I was watching the ’Hero’ trailer. It first ford in my mind as a story, grand and poignant. I wasn’t planning on writing it down, but after our discussion just now, so new ideas ca to , so I wrote down this piece."

"Play it and let’s see!"

Annan handed the musical score back and casually activated the recording function on her phone.

Yuran got the hint imdiately, went to her room to fetch her guitar, and then started playing the score she had written. If initially, when Annan had humd this tune in her mind, she sensed an indescribable firmness, then played on the guitar, it took on another form.

Once recorded and played back from the phone, it felt slightly different.

Annan asked, "Do you still have inspiration for the lyrics? Maybe you should give it a shot too."

"That’s my weaker point," she admitted, feeling embarrassed. "Writing lyrics takes a long ti, and I’m not very efficient. How about we brainstorm together?"

Annan’s eyes lit up, "Sure, I was thinking of volunteering earlier, but I was worried you had your own ideas. Since you suggest it, I’ll boldly go ahead and write. If they’re not good, you can make edits. Speaking of ’Hero,’ my inspiration is endless."

Yuran laughed, "Isn’t it Bo Yan that sends your inspiration overflowing?"

Annan, "Why spoil the unspoken truth? Bo Yan is really handso. I cried like a dog watching the trailer. I don’t know how much worse it’ll be when I see the movie. I’ve bought two tickets for its official launch, which coincides with the day I made a bet with you and Zhou Cheng.

Regardless, I’m planning to drag you to the cinema with . Just consider it as keeping company!"

Yuran: "...Honestly, I’m not that keen on going, but since you really want to, I’ll co with you."

"It’s a deal!" Annan smiled triumphantly. "But you are quite famous now; rember to wear a hat and a mask."

"Isn’t that an exaggeration? I’m not that big of a deal yet."

Annan argued, "How could you not be such a big deal by now? Believe it or not, if you walk down the street now, there’s definitely soone who would recognize you."

Annan was not bad with words, and although she was busy until the wee hours, she had completed only half of the lyrics. But for Yuran, that was already quite impressive.

At least her efficiency wasn’t as good, and Annan’s lyric-writing style was quite unique, using incredibly concise phrases to convey a majestic vision right before the eyes.

Good lyrics.
