Yue Zhao’s words startled everyone, drawing all their gazes towards him.
"Zhuo Tingqiu, Yun Ran, you can go back and have your clansn prepare; two days will pass quickly." Yue Zhao looked at Zhuo Tingqiu and Yun Ran and spoke.
Yun Ran and Zhuo Tingqiu exchanged a glance and looked at Yue Zhao.
"Thank you, Brother Yue, for the reminder." Zhuo Tingqiu looked at Yue Zhao with gratitude in his eyes.
Right now, many forces probably still don’t know what’s happening; having two more days to prepare will help them once they enter the Secret Realm. Yue Zhao openly telling them this shows he truly sees them as one of his own.
Yun Ran also looked at Yue Zhao with gratitude.
"Hurry, go on." Yue Zhao waved his hand, his smile gaining a touch of sincerity.
The two bid farewell to the others and hurriedly left.
[Brother, didn’t you say before that the Secret Realm would take a while to open?] After Zhuo Tingqiu and Yun Ran had left, Gu Qingqing asked with a gesture.
"That was the case initially, but no one can predict matters regarding the Secret Realm. For so unknown reason, it has rged with the Xuantian Continent ahead of schedule. Two days is a conservative estimate; it might be ready by tomorrow!" Yue Zhao handed the fruit in front of him to Gu Qingqing and softly explained.
Gu Qingqing nodded thoughtfully.
"Little Qingqing, don’t worry. We will protect you well." Rong Ye quickly comforted, thinking Gu Qingqing was concerned.
[Thank you, Brother, but I’m not worried. I can protect myself too!] Gu Qingqing looked at Rong Ye earnestly and said.
"Alright, then I’ll stay with you and watch how our Little Qingqing shines in the Secret Realm!" If soone else had said that to Rong Ye, he would have thought them ungrateful. However, with Gu Qingqing, he only felt proud, even having a proud smile on his face.
Everyone present was used to Rong Ye’s attitude toward Gu Qingqing and didn’t even glance at him.
"Since the Secret Realm is about to open, everyone should stay put for the next two days. After all, this is the Immortal Secret Realm. We still don’t know what’s inside. It’s better to preserve our strength!" Si Lin calmly advised everyone.
The others naturally had no objections and nodded in agreent, so for the following two days, everyone stayed in the manor, waiting for the Secret Realm and Xuantian Continent to finish rging.
As Yue Zhao predicted, it took two days for the Secret Realm and Xuantian Continent to rge. At dawn on the third day, a Secret Realm entrance quietly appeared in the outskirts of Shangjing City.
Yue Zhao hadn’t cultivated all night, continuously calculating the location where the Secret Realm entrance would appear. At the first mont of its appearance, he had already figured it out and imdiately called Gu Qingqing and the others to head there.
Midair, a purple whirlpool appeared. Behind the whirlpool, so of the scenes glimpsed in the previous Secret Realm shadows could vaguely be seen, but the details were unclear.
Yue Zhao and the others didn’t rush in; they stopped not far from the whirlpool, observing its situation.
As daylight increased, more and more people discovered the whirlpool. By the ti it was fully bright, a large crowd had gathered outside the whirlpool.
This was the first ti an Immortal Secret Realm appeared on the Xuantian Continent. No one knew what the situation inside the Immortal Secret Realm was like, so no one entered. Everyone chose to watch from outside.
Most Secret Realms have requirents for cultivation level and age, but since the Immortal Secret Realm had never appeared before, no one knew what its requirents were. Everyone was waiting for the first person to enter!
Until noon, there was no movent among the crowd. Just as impatience was rising and soone was about to go in, a line of text suddenly appeared at the whirlpool.
"Only those under thirty years old and above the fourth level of cultivation can enter!"
Once soone read this aloud, the crowd instantly started buzzing.
It must be noted that with limited Spiritual Power on the Xuantian Continent, reaching above the fourth level of cultivation before thirty typically made one a genius class individual with promising prospects in any faction. Who knew the Secret Realm’s requirents would be so high!
Unlike others, upon seeing these requirents, Si Lin and the others were relieved. They feared the Secret Realm would limit the upper cultivation level, which might prevent them from entering. Fortunately, no such stipulation existed.
The most powerful ones present were from the three major empires, four major sects, and five great families. Representatives from these forces all knew each other. After so discussion, they decided to each send twenty people into the Secret Realm.
The first to enter were mbers of the four great sects. Once their figures disappeared into the whirlpool, people from the five great families also entered. Yun Ran and Zhuo Tingqiu had long agreed to go with Gu Qingqing and her group, rather than with their respective clans, and positioned themselves alongside Gu Qingqing’s group.
After all the major forces had entered, Gu Qingqing and her group also stepped into the whirlpool.
Gu Qingqing just felt a montary daze and found herself in an unfamiliar place.
She was the only one where she stood, clearly indicating that the Secret Realm’s transmission was indeed random, as Si Lin and the others had ntioned, causing her to be separated from them.
Looking around, she discovered she seemingly stood in a Primitive Forest. The surrounding trees were extrely tall, each requiring three people to encircle it. Sunlight only trickled through the gaps in the leaves, and the ground was thickly covered with fallen leaves.
While observing her surroundings, she suddenly slled a faint scent of blood. Without considering the situation next to her, she quickly flashed onto a large tree branch. The branch was so thick she could lay on it without falling off.
And just as she steadied herself, a group of Wind Wolves appeared below.
Wind Wolves are fourth-level demon beasts. A single Wind Wolf isn’t frightening; the scary part is they are pack animals and typically appear in groups. The group below Gu Qingqing’s feet consisted of about fifteen.
If she hadn’t moved swiftly, she would have been surrounded by the Wind Wolf Group. Though her cultivation ant dealing with these Wind Wolves was only a matter of ti, it would still be rather troubleso. Not knowing the surrounding circumstances, she wanted to conserve Spiritual Power if possible.
The Wind Wolves circled around below, found no prey, and left unwillingly.
Gu Qingqing breathed a sigh of relief but did not move, continuing to wait on the tree branch. After a short while, the Wind Wolf Group indeed returned, and only upon finding nothing did they depart for good.
After confirming the Wind Wolf Group did not return, Gu Qingqing then descended back to the ground.
No one knows what is inside the Secret Realm, and Gu Qingqing naturally doesn’t know either. She just wants to find Si Lin and the others first. Fortunately, before they entered, they anticipated this situation and prepared communication talismans in advance. Taking a talisman out of the Storage Bracelet, she inputs Spiritual Power, and a golden light shines on the talisman. Imdiately, she hears Rong Ye’s voice.
"Little Qingqing, where are you?" Rong Ye’s voice, filled with surprise and concern, cos out from the talisman.
"I’m not quite sure." Gu Qingqing looks around slowly and speaks. After practicing for so ti, she can now say a few sentences, though her speech is still slow.
"Stay where you are, don’t move. I’ll co to find you." Rong Ye opens the Heavenly Awakening Record, locates Gu Qingqing’s position, and realizes she’s not far away, and quickly says.
"Okay." Gu Qingqing responds.
The talisman’s energy runs out and it disappears instantly.
Thinking that Rong Ye will co to find her, Gu Qingqing looks left and right and finally decides that the tree trunk she was on before wasn’t bad. Tipping her toes on the ground, she lands back on the tree.
She doesn’t know how far Rong Ye is from her, and while guessing how long it will take Rong Ye to arrive, she hears footsteps.
The newcors are people Gu Qingqing has t a few tis; it’s actually Nalan Qing and Nalan Xin, the two sisters who were coincidentally teleported together.
...
Actually, Gu Qingqing guessed wrong. Nalan Qing and Nalan Xin were not teleported together; it’s just that they were close in distance and quickly t up. After all, they are sisters and naturally traveled together.
Nalan Qing is older than Nalan Xin, and her cultivation is a bit higher as well. She leads the way ahead.
Of course, she personally isn’t willing to do such things, but because Nalan Xin’s father is the Family Head, she must appease Nalan Xin!
Although they had so unpleasantness before, in Nalan Xin’s eyes, they are of the sa clan and should look after each other.
However, Nalan Qing doesn’t think so. As they walked, Nalan Qing considered for a long ti and felt this was a good opportunity to get rid of Nalan Xin!
The Nalan Family only needs one outstanding girl, and that person should be her, Nalan Qing, not Nalan Xin!
Before Nalan Xin’s father beca the Family Head, everyone praised her, Nalan Qing, for her high talent and beauty. But as Nalan Xin grew up, her talent beca apparent. Furthermore, her father beca the Family Head, which changed the situation.
Everyone started to praise and adore Nalan Xin, while she beca Nalan Xin’s foil. Before coming here, she had already received word that the Nalan Family was arranging her marriage, intending to marry her to the Lan Family’s second son, who was the sa guy who had his arm severed by Nan Hua years ago.
Since being struck by Nan Hua, the guy has beco quite disheartened. He wasn’t a highly talented existence to begin with, and after all these years of cultivation, he barely reached the third-stage Peak. If not for his father’s reasons, he would not have been able to stand in the Lan Family.
She cannot bear marrying such a person, nor can she accept her marriage being inferior to Nalan Xin’s!
Previously outside, Nalan Xin was well-protected by her father and brother, so she had no opportunity nor did she dare to make a move on Nalan Xin. If discovered, the consequences would be unimaginable!
But inside the Secret Realm, it’s different. Everyone who enters the Secret Realm knows about the random teleportation. As long as Nalan Xin dies, no one would know they were together, and no one would know Nalan Xin was killed by her, so she wouldn’t have to take responsibility.
Once Nalan Xin is dead, she’d be the Nalan Family’s only outstanding daughter, and the family would certainly not carelessly arrange her marriage!
Thinking this, madness flickered in Nalan Qing’s eyes.
She had already sensed that there were demon beasts in this direction. As long as she deceives Nalan Xin towards the demon beasts, with Nalan Xin’s cultivation and skills, she definitely cannot defeat the demon beasts, leading only to a deathly path!
"Sister Qing, I seem to sll blood. We better not go that way!" Nalan Xin stopped in her tracks, grabbing Nalan Qing’s sleeve to prevent her from going further.
Nalan Qing’s eyes flickered, she turned back with a smile to look at Nalan Xin, "You must have slled wrong; why don’t I sll any blood? Don’t worry, Xin, even if there is danger, I’ll protect you!"
Nalan Xin looked at the forest ahead, then at Nalan Qing, unwilling to go forward.
"I feel this direction is unsafe. Let’s go another way," Nalan Xin said, wanting to turn and walk to the left.
Nalan Qing couldn’t allow her to leave just like that, directly grabbing her arm, "Xin, I’ve already sensed it. There are no demon beasts this way, just follow ."
Saying this, Nalan Qing pulled Nalan Xin along with her.
Nalan Xin tugged at her arm, finding that Nalan Qing held tightly, she couldn’t get free, and with a bit of suspicion, she looked at Nalan Qing.
Nalan Qing acted as if she hadn’t noticed Nalan Xin’s gaze, pulling her forward.
On the branches overhead, Gu Qingqing sat and had already noticed the returning Wind Wolf Group. Seeing Nalan Qing pulling Nalan Xin towards the Wind Wolf Group, she couldn’t help but raise an eyebrow.
When they t earlier, she thought Nalan Qing and Nalan Xin had good relations, but it turns out that’s not the case. Nalan Qing pulling Nalan Xin towards the Wind Wolf Group was obviously with bad intentions, and while Nalan Xin seed to notice sothing, she was no match for Nalan Qing and could only be dragged along.
"Sister Qing, I can walk on my own, let go, I seem to hear footsteps." Nalan Xin said while trying to pull her hand away.
"It’s easier for to pull you along. Why don’t I hear any footsteps? You must have heard wrong." Nalan Qing increased her effort to not let Nalan Xin escape, speaking without turning back.
"Sister Qing, what exactly do you want to do? I’ve said I hear footsteps, there are demon beasts coming, release quickly!" Nalan Xin, though naive, realized sothing was wrong with Nalan Qing and struggled harder.
"What do I want to do?" Thinking it almost ti, Nalan Qing suddenly stopped, turning around to look at Nalan Xin, her expression distorted with excitent, "Of course, I want to get rid of you, my dear sister!"
With that, Nalan Qing struck Nalan Xin’s stomach with full force. Nalan Xin was no match for her and was unprepared, suffering internal injuries, blood trailing from her lips, holding her stomach, looking at Nalan Qing in disbelief.
"Why?" Nalan Xin never expected Nalan Qing to do this, feeling her heart hurt more than the internal injuries.
"Because only when you’re dead can I beco the only outstanding daughter of the Nalan Family. This way, I won’t have to marry that waste of the Lan Family!" Nalan Qing looked at Nalan Xin with a twisted, mad expression.
