Upon hearing Huang Shilian say that she couldn’t stay in Cloud Peak City, Lin Huanhuan’s mind snapped, and she directly shouted at Huang Shilian.

She is the daughter of the Feihua Sect’s leader. Because of her mother’s indulgence, she is very self-willed and not well-liked among the disciples of the Feihua Sect. Originally, she wouldn’t have been able to co to the Sub-immortal Realm competition because her talent is average, and her cultivation is only at the fifth rank. The Feihua Sect leader was worried that she’d be unable to control her temper and cause trouble for the sect, so he initially didn’t plan to let her co.

She found out about it, pleaded with her mother for a long ti, and together they convinced her father, allowing her to co along. Even so, her father set a strict rule that if she caused any trouble, she would be sent back imdiately.

For this reason, she’s been behaving well recently, fearing that her father would send her back.

So when Huang Shilian said that, her mind went blank, and she blurted out without thinking.

It was Huang Shilian’s first ti encountering a woman like Lin Huanhuan. As a disciple of the White Tiger Sacred Land, he’s mostly been around disciples of major sects who are elegant and refined. Even those with bad tempers wouldn’t resort to acting out like a shrew. So he couldn’t help but take a step back.

"Miss, Cloud Peak City has its rules. If you don’t follow the rules, we can naturally expel you from Cloud Peak City, unless you apologize to Miss Gu." Huang Shilian said coldly and firmly.

Even after such a brief encounter, he had no liking for Lin Huanhuan. If he weren’t part of the guard squad, he might have thrown Lin Huanhuan out directly instead of reasoning with her here.

Lin Huanhuan still couldn’t understand Huang Shilian’s feelings. All she could think about now was that these people wanted to expel her from Cloud Peak City. After hearing Huang Shilian’s words, instead of realizing her faults, she believed Huang Shilian was biased towards Gu Qingqing because he knew her.

Her eyes reddened as she looked venomously at Gu Qingqing and the others, "Is this how disciples from major sects bully people? Everyone, look! The disciples from the White Tiger Sacred Land and Lingxi Sacred Land are joining forces to bully a disciple from an ordinary sect!"

As soon as her words ca out, the expressions of not only Huang Shilian and Rong Ye changed, but even Mu Yang, who ca with her, was different.

Mu Yang also didn’t like Lin Huanhuan. If she weren’t his ntor’s daughter, Mu Yang wouldn’t even spare a glance at Lin Huanhuan. But his ntor asked him to take care of Lin Huanhuan, so he had to follow her. For the last couple of days, Lin Huanhua had been behaving well, and he was sowhat relieved. Who knew that in a mont of inattention, she’d cause such a big ss.

She not only offended the Spirit Fox Saint Master’s favorite disciples but also managed to alienate all the major sects’ disciples in one sentence!

They need to know that Feihua Sect had no eligibility to participate in this competition initially. They only had the chance because they just beca an affiliated sect of the White Tiger Sacred Land. Now, Lin Huanhuan totally ssed up this opportunity, possibly even affecting their sect’s affiliation with the White Tiger Sacred Land!

With a grim face, he went forward to cover Lin Huanhuan’s mouth, and when she glared at him, he knocked her unconscious with one hand and carried her in his arms, looking at Rong Ye and the others.

"Young Master Rong, Mr. Nan, and Miss Gu, I apologize on behalf of my junior sister. She has been overly pampered by my ntor’s wife. I hope you can forgive her," he turned to Huang Shilian, "Mr. Huang, this is our fault. My junior sister’s words were inappropriate earlier, and I apologize for her."

Mu Yang acted decisively, and his sincerity in apologizing sowhat eased Rong Ye and the others’ expressions.

"If you truly want to admit your mistake, then show so sincerity. Young Master thinks your junior sister isn’t fit to stay in Cloud Peak City. Otherwise, who knows what else she’ll say with that mouth of hers." Rong Ye said harshly, very displeased with Lin Huanhuan.

"Rest assured, Young Master Rong. When we return, I’ll report to my ntor that my junior sister isn’t suited to stay here and send her back to the sect," Mu Yang’s eyes flashed, and he quickly said.

"Geng Geng, what do you think?" Rong Ye looked at Gu Qingqing, giving her the power to decide the matter.

Gu Qingqing glanced at Lin Huanhuan, then at Mu Yang, "Since you’ve apologized, let’s just let it go."

Because of Lin Huanhuan, they’ve already wasted a lot of ti, and she didn’t want to waste any more ti on unimportant matters.

"Alright, let’s proceed as Mr. Mu said. I hope Mr. Mu keeps his word." Rong Ye looked at Mu Yang and directed his half-step Immortal Rank pressure towards him.

Mu Yang faced Rong Ye’s pressure, feeling the danger, and his hair stood on end, his knees buckled slightly. He looked at Rong Ye, his eyes filled with shock. Seeing Rong Ye’s calm expression, he steadied himself and spoke with difficulty, "Rest assured, Young Master Rong, I’ll do as I said!"

"That’s good." Rong Ye withdrew his pressure and said nonchalantly.

Upon feeling the fearso pressure disappear, Mu Yang breathed a sigh of relief, only then realizing his back was soaked, but he couldn’t let that bother him now and instead looked at Huang Shilian.

"I just said, this young lady must be expelled from Cloud Peak City. Since Mr. Mu has spoken, I’ll let it go at that." Huang Shilian saw that Rong Ye and the others were not concerned anymore, so he didn’t say anything further.

"Thank you all, we’ll leave now." Mu Yang finally breathed a sigh of relief and quickly left, carrying Lin Huanhuan.

"Young Master Rong, Mr. Nan, Saint Son Jun, Miss Gu, since the matter here is resolved, I’ll go on patrol." When facing Gu Qingqing and the others, Huang Shilian maintained a very good attitude, even letting his gaze linger a little longer on Gu Qingqing before quickly moving away, behaving very courteously throughout.

"Thank you, Mr. Huang, for your help. We’ll take our leave then." Rong Ye showed a very casual attitude towards Huang Shilian, knowing that Gu Qingqing still wanted to continue exploring, and spoke directly.

They exchanged farewells, and Huang Shilian led the disciples of the White Tiger Sacred Land away, while Gu Qingqing and the others continued their stroll.

Although the matter was resolved, Gu Qingqing felt a bit down thinking about the pastry she hadn’t managed to eat and had fallen to the ground. Her face showed a hint of disappointnt, which Jun Wu, who was always paying attention to her, naturally noticed. He flashed a smile in his eyes and handed a piece of pastry to Gu Qingqing.

Gu Qingqing was lanting the loss of her pastry when another piece appeared right in front of her. Her eyes lit up, and she turned to look at Jun Wu.

"Here, for you. The one that fell on the ground doesn’t count," Jun Wu said gently, his Adam’s apple bobbing slightly under Gu Qingqing’s bright-eyed gaze.

"Great! I knew you were the best, Jun Wu!" Gu Qingqing cheered, grabbing the pastry quickly, fearing he might change his mind, and eagerly took a bite.

Seeing Gu Qingqing’s reaction, Jun Wu shook his head amusedly, but his gaze remained on her. After she finished eating, he handed her a bottle of Spiritual Dew for her to drink.

"Tsk tsk, Geng Geng, you’re really playing favorites here. It’s just a pastry, and that’s enough for Jun Wu to be the best. What about and Nan Hua?" Rong Ye said with a mock jealous tone as he followed behind the two.

"Exactly, it was who introduced you to these pastries, and I didn’t even get a thank you," Nan Hua said, for once siding with Rong Ye.

Rong Ye and Nan Hua exchanged a glance at each other’s words, instantly reaching a mutual understanding to team up against Jun Wu.

Gu Qingqing had just swallowed the last piece of pastry when she heard them, her expression froze montarily. After drinking the Spiritual Dew Jun Wu handed her, she hurriedly looked at Rong Ye and Nan Hua, "No way! You two are the best too, yes, the best in my heart!"

"Really?" Rong Ye asked with doubtful disbelief, "Then compared to Jun Wu, who is the best in your heart?"

Gu Qingqing was taken aback, not expecting Rong Ye to compare himself to Jun Wu. She blinked, looked at Jun Wu, and found he was also watching her expectantly. Her heart skipped a beat, and when she turned to see Rong Ye and Nan Hua watching her, all waiting for her response, she turned her head, looked ahead, blinked rapidly, and went into a ntal overdrive.

"Hmm," she swallowed hard, "I think you all are the best in my heart!"

She couldn’t bear to offend either side, nor did she want any of them to be hurt.

As for Jun Wu, she was still a bit uncertain about her feelings. She only knew that being with Jun Wu made her happy, and if they were apart, she would miss him involuntarily, but she was still unclear about what those feelings truly ant.

As for Rong Ye and the others, ever since joining Wen Guiyun’s sect, they felt like family to her, a very close presence. Regardless of how others saw them, in her eyes, they were all the best!

Jun Wu and Rong Ye hadn’t expected Gu Qingqing to say this, and they both paused, then looked at each other with displeasure, feeling the other had taken a place in her heart.

Their gazes clashed like swords, but when Gu Qingqing looked over, they each withdrew their eyes.

"Alright then, barely passing," Rong Ye said proudly.

Gu Qingqing let out a sigh of relief and began observing the situation on the street.

At this ti, the street was even more lively than before, with a dazzling array of goods that captivated Gu Qingqing. She imrsed herself in it, with Jun Wu and the others accompanying her.

As they passed by a restaurant, the window on the second floor facing the street was open, and soone inside, upon seeing Gu Qingqing and the others, looked surprised.
