Caleb Rhodes kissed her forcefully, his movents chaotic and frantic. Nina Wynn felt like he was practically gnawing on her.
She was startled, thinking he wanted to do sothing right here.
She didn’t have the courage for that, nor could she accept doing sothing like that in a place like this.
But he had her pinned against the wall, her hands restrained. She couldn’t push him away at all.
When she saw his other hand begin to roam over her body, she panicked and bit down hard on his lip.
Caleb Rhodes winced in pain, pausing for a mont before releasing Nina Wynn.
He stared at her grimly, his slender fingers slowly brushing the corner of his lip where she had broken the skin. His voice was cold. "Stay away from Zyler Rhodes!"
Seeing the way Zyler Rhodes had looked at her, he suddenly regretted bringing her here today.
He knew exactly what that look ant.
It was the unabashed possessiveness of a man for a woman!
He had previously placed Zyler Rhodes by her side to keep other n away. Besides, Zyler used to be a typical rich playboy and likely had no genuine feelings for Nina Wynn.
But after Nina Wynn’s car accident, Zyler Rhodes seed to have beco a completely different person. He had not only searched frantically for Nina everywhere but had even gotten into a huge argunt with Crystal Rhodes and Leo Rhodes over it.
This was also why Leo Rhodes was trying every trick in the book to drive Nina Wynn away.
Caleb Rhodes, however, had no interest in what Leo thought. Anyone with designs on Nina Wynn would not be allowed to remain near her.
’Therefore, Zyler Rhodes can no longer stay in Elysian City.’

The mont he stepped out, he saw Zyler Rhodes standing outside, trying to peer into the room.
It was obvious he was looking for Nina Wynn.
Caleb Rhodes said coldly, "Why didn’t you take care of that matter I sent you back to Elysian City for yesterday?"
Zyler Rhodes answered, still trying to look inside, "It wasn’t anything major. I just called the certification office and had my secretary handle it."
"Zyler Rhodes!" Caleb Rhodes’s tone suddenly turned sharp. "With an attitude like that, I will never hand the Rhodes Family over to you!"
Zyler Rhodes flinched and quickly looked away. He said seriously, "No, that’s not it, Uncle. It wasn’t difficult. I made a call, a friend of mine made the arrangents, and my secretary just needs to go pick everything up."
He hadn’t even finished speaking when he saw Caleb Rhodes staring coldly at him.
The gaze was sharp and ruthless, filled with a clear warning!
Under that stare, Zyler Rhodes began to panic.

A mont later, she received a reply. She grabbed her purse and pulled the door open.
Unexpectedly, two guards ard with live firearms were standing outside the door.
The mont Nina Wynn stepped out, one of them snapped to attention, saluted, and said sternly, "Miss Wynn, President Rhodes has given orders. You are not to leave this room, and no one is to be allowed in!"
Although she was used to seeing ard guards at the Rhodes estate, the sudden appearance of two posted right in front of her was still unnerving for Nina Wynn.
’She knew it was pointless to reason with them; their only job was to follow orders.’
Nina Wynn took out her phone and dialed Caleb Rhodes’s number.
After a long mont, the call finally connected. His voice was low. "Nina?"
Nina Wynn bit her lip and said softly, "Uncle, can I co watch your eting?"
There was a pause on the other end, his tone deep and cool. "Is Nina unhappy all by herself?"
Nina Wynn humd softly in agreent. "Mm, I miss you... and the heating in here isn’t very good. My fingers are starting to hurt."
This was a newly constructed office building being used as a temporary workspace, so the furnishings were spartan, and the heating was indeed inadequate.
Caleb Rhodes said, "Don’t move from the doorway. I’ll have soone co get you."
A mont later, a tall, composed man walked quickly over from another corridor.
He said to Nina Wynn, "Miss Wynn, I’m President Rhodes’s assistant, Hugh Collins. Please co with ."
As he spoke, he nodded to the two guards, signaling that they could let her pass.
Hugh Collins settled Nina Wynn in a small anteroom next to the conference room. Separated by only a single wall, she could clearly hear the sounds coming from inside.
Through a small window set in the wall, Nina Wynn watched Caleb Rhodes in the conference hall for a long, long ti.
