The production team still had so integrity.

Before getting their permission, and despite the caraman’s twitching fingers, they restrained themselves and didn’t turn the caras toward Silas Norwood and Celia Sterling. But in the bullet comnts scrolling across the livestream’s split-screen, the more they tried to hide it, the more curious the viewers beca:

[Just now, were those two bigwigs talking about an A-lister? Holy crap, what kind of gorgeous person did they run into to mistake them for a top celebrity? I’m dying to see! C’mon, caraman, do your thing and pan over!]

[Music King Scott is being honest, though. There really aren’t many good-looking A-listers in the music industry. They’re either scrawny or puffy fat. The ones with decent bodies don’t seem to have outstanding features, hahahaha! The few attractive musicians I can think of, like so-and-so and what’s-his-na, all ended up moving into acting. The music world just can’t hold on to handso n.]

[PAN THE CARA OVER! This isn’t so PR stunt by the sponsors to build hype for a newcor, is it? I rember that one dating show where a non-celebrity got a ton of screen ti. Turns out she was the daughter of so big shot. She debuted after just one episode and is already an A-lister now thanks to a few major productions, tsk tsk...]

...

Silas Norwood had naturally noticed the people walking toward them.

But his status always drew attention, and he was long used to it. His pale gold eyes rely flickered over Chloe Chambers and Nolan Scott before he set Celia Sterling down, took the orange from her hand, and placed it in the basket at his feet.

"Hello, you two," Nolan Scott said, taking the initiative to greet them. "May I ask your nas?"

Silas Norwood didn’t speak.

Celia Sterling, however, looked at Chloe Chambers beside him with a hint of surprise. Recalling that her assistant had ntioned a variety show being fild nearby, she put two and two together and answered politely:

"Hello, Best Actress Chambers. I’m Miss Sterling, and this is my husband, Mr. Norwood."

Silas Norwood watched his precious wife. ’This was the woman Kian Sterling had raised to be so proud and pampered; she was rarely this polite to strangers.’

"Are Mr. Norwood and Miss Sterling in charge here?" Nolan Scott asked, again acting as the spokesperson.

Now that they were closer, Silas Norwood’s air of noble grace was even more pronounced. Just standing two or three ters away, he was utterly captivating. Even with a mask on, the sharp contours of his face were on par with an international supermodel’s, and his amber eyes were bewitching. A single glance was enough to make Nolan Scott, a veteran of the entertainnt industry, lose his composure, his heart tightening.

"No, we don’t know who’s in charge either," Celia Sterling answered again. "You’re Music King Scott, right? I bought your album back in middle school. Your songs are very inspiring."

Her tone wasn’t that of an excited fan eting their idol. It was very calm, yet one could still detect a faint note of pleasure within that composure.

Her attention, however, was focused mainly on Chloe Chambers. "I know you’re here to film a variety show. Is there anything we can help you with?"

"We’re looking for the person in charge here."

"I heard the person in charge manages a huge area, so it might not be easy to find them right away. If you’re in a hurry, Best Actress Chambers, you can tell what you need, and I’ll see if I can help." Celia Sterling’s attitude was excellent, and she was being uncharacteristically helpful. "My husband is the owner of this orchard. Anything the manager can do, he should be able to do as well."

Silas Norwood: "..."

But saving his wife’s face was a must. "Yes. I’ll handle it."

Chloe Chambers and Nolan Scott exchanged a look, their eyes filled with pleasant surprise.

’The orchard owner...’

’And he looks like *that*...’

’Doesn’t this perfectly fit the "support our farrs" the? Plus, with guests of this caliber, the amount of buzz it could generate would be huge.’

Nolan Scott, who had been about to ask to "borrow" an employee, changed his tune and went straight for the main attraction. "We’d like to invite you two to participate in our three-day variety show filming."

Silas Norwood’s rejection was cold. "No."

Celia Sterling gently tugged on Silas Norwood’s sleeve.

Silas Norwood’s tone softened a fraction. "Anyone who works for is at your disposal, except for us."

From that brief exchange, it was clear that the man before them was extrely difficult to communicate with. Chloe Chambers and Nolan Scott simultaneously decided to focus their efforts on Celia Sterling...

"You know who I am, young lady?" Chloe Chambers asked, looking at Celia Sterling with a gentle smile, though she already knew the answer.

"Of course! You’re my childhood goddess!" Celia Sterling nodded. "I’ve seen all of your work. My favorite is *Jianghu Kill*. Your role as the heroic and formidable number one demoness of the Martial World completely captivated back then. My friends and I even used to role-play the characters."

Chloe Chambers began her gentle persuasion. "In that case, young lady, would you be willing to film this episode with ? I’ve been retired from acting for many years, and this will probably be the last variety show I ever do. Why don’t we give each other a perfect mory?"

Celia Sterling hesitated.

Silas Norwood sighed softly. Looking at the clearly moved Celia Sterling, he said, "Darling, this isn’t appropriate."

Celia Sterling, of course, knew it wasn’t appropriate.

Kian Sterling had always kept her out of the public eye; even her official photos were carefully photoshopped. If he found out she was parading herself on a variety show for the whole internet to see, he’d probably fly over imdiately. Besides, as the young lady of the Sterling Group and the wife of the Norwood Group’s chairman, appearing on a variety show was indeed unbefitting of her status.

But faced with her childhood goddess, and knowing this might be their first and very likely last ti crossing paths, she felt a stir of temptation.

Chloe Chambers saw her hesitation and made a decisive promise. "If you don’t like it partway through, I promise you on behalf of the production team that you can quit at any ti."

Celia Sterling turned her glistening eyes toward Silas Norwood.

A faint sense of helplessness washed over Silas Norwood.

’It used to be a little better. But after these past few days of wild passion, he found himself increasingly unable to resist her charms. Just the tender way Celia Sterling was looking at him was enough to stir countless mories of pinning her down and ravishing her...’

"You want to play?" he asked, his voice dropping a notch.

Celia Sterling humd softly. "A little."

’His wife’s answer was reserved, but it was enough for him to know what to do.’

’Forget it. It’s just a travel variety show. What’s the difference between the two of us having fun and a group of us having fun? Not much. And even if it generates so inconvenient buzz, the Norwood Group is the entertainnt industry’s ultimate financial backer. We can just suppress it.’

’I’ll just consider it accompanying my wife on a fangirl adventure.’

Silas Norwood reached out and ruffled Celia Sterling’s hair, then turned his cool gaze to Chloe Chambers. "We can participate, but there are conditions."

Chloe Chambers and Nolan Scott both looked invigorated. "Please, Mr. Norwood, go ahead."

"We will only film during the day. We won’t participate at night," Silas Norwood said, his tone firm. "And I’ll need to bring a few assistants."

"Of course, no problem," Chloe Chambers and Nolan Scott readily agreed. Getting them to join at all was an unexpected delight. As for the nightti filming, whether two non-celebrities appeared on cara or not was unimportant. In fact, in past seasons, footage of non-celebrities fild at night was often cut anyway. They didn’t think it was a big deal.

But that thought shattered just a few minutes later.

Receiving their orders, an assistant and two bodyguards walked over from a distance and stood silently behind Silas Norwood. The man elegantly removed his mask and gave a quiet command:

"My wife and I will be participating in the variety show for a bit. The three of you will assist from the side."

Though internally shocked and bewildered, the assistant and bodyguards still nodded respectfully. "Yes, Boss."

His incomparably handso face turned toward Chloe and Nolan. Silas Norwood’s expression was one of noble, cold indifference. "Let’s go."

’Go where?’

The mont Chloe Chambers and Nolan Scott saw his face, their minds went numb. Only one absurd thought remained:

’If this man appears on cara...’

’The entire internet is going to lose its mind.’
