The next morning, Celia Sterling was dragged out from under the covers by Quinn Sinclair.

Having gone to bed late, she was still drowsy when her sleep was disturbed, and she didn’t look pleased. "What are you doing here? Aren’t you afraid of my brother?"

"I was staked out at your front gate for three hours. I only dared to co in after I saw your brother leave."

Quinn Sinclair was in a tracksuit; she had probably used exercise as an excuse to sneak out of her house. Last ti at the club, Silas Norwood hadn’t intentionally given those socialites from prominent families a hard ti. But since the matter involved Kian Sterling and Silas Norwood, the head of the Lowell Family had already, without them needing to lift a finger, discreetly inford the other families about their unfilial daughters’ antics—hanging out at nightclubs and hiring male models.

As a result, the rules for Quinn Sinclair had gotten much stricter.

"What do you want?" Celia Sterling asked, her voice heavy with sleep.

"Last night on WeChat, you told you watched the uncensored version!" Quinn Sinclair said excitedly. "A full, fifteen-minute, uncensored bed scene! I ca all this way to see what it showed..."

"With the Sinclair Family’s resources, it shouldn’t be hard to get an uncensored copy. Find it yourself." Celia Sterling lazily rolled over, intending to go back to sleep. "See it here? What is there to see?"

"Things are strict at ho right now. I just got grounded for hiring male models. If I turn around and start looking for steamy films, they’ll literally chain up." Quinn Sinclair yanked back the covers and shalessly squeezed onto the bed. "Co on, Celia! Dearest Cece! Just give the play-by-play!"

"With... with *him* there, how could I have possibly watched it?" Celia Sterling shot her a sidelong glance. "Look, Quinn Sinclair, we’ve been best friends for years, and it’s not like we haven’t seen our fair share of these movies. Do you really have to be this desperate? I rember Nina Sterling has a huge stash. Forget a dozen minutes of bonus content in a clean show; she has piles of straight-up ’action films.’ Go ask her."

"My relationship with her is nowhere near as good as ours. Besides, she’s the type to stab you in the back. I’m not asking her," Quinn Sinclair snorted in disdain. "Speaking of which, what about Jasmine Lowell? She used to be a real troublemaker, but after that night at the club, she’s been completely listless. She doesn’t go out anymore, just throws things around at ho all day. And—this is just a rumor, mind you—I heard she’s constantly cussing out your brother."

Celia Sterling: "...She’s crazy."

"She’s not the only one who’s crazy." Quinn Sinclair lowered her voice. "Hey, Cece, I’m going to tell you sothing, but you absolutely cannot let it get back to your brother."

Half of Celia’s sleepiness vanished. "Tell ."

Quinn Sinclair cleared her throat and furtively pulled up a website on her phone. "Jasmine Lowell is all talk. But so of the socialites in the Capital Circle who can write a little have ford a secret club. The the is centered on your brother, their ’cinnabar mole,’ and Silas Norwood, their ’white moonlight.’ A whole group of them get on there to indulge in all sorts of fantasies. They’ve co-authored two books, which are being passed around privately among the socialite circle, and the descriptions are incredibly titillating!"

Celia Sterling was furious. "They’re completely insane."

Quinn Sinclair fell silent for a mont. "I... managed to get copies. So, do you want to see them?"

Celia Sterling: "..."

Quinn Sinclair read her attitude in the silence and sent two files via WeChat.

"The ’Cinnabar Mole’ one is already over eight hundred thousand characters long. So many socialites have contributed, each one writing a scene with your brother. Thirty-five of them have already written their parts, and dozens more are waiting in line. The ’Moonlight’ one is only two hundred thousand characters. They say it’s harder to write about soone as ethereal as Silas Norwood compared to your brother, who just oozes sex appeal. But they’re planning to add more to it. More and more socialites are joining in on these two books, and the plan is to stop writing when your brother and Silas Norwood are old and past their pri."

Celia Sterling silently stared at the two docunt files. She first opened the one titled [Cinnabar Mole]. The very first page was R-rated, and after reading only two lines, she slamd it shut. Then she casually opened the [Moonlight] version. It was more or less the sa.

"Next week, there’s that internal business conference for the elite families, right? Silas Norwood is supposed to be there, too. Most of the socialites in the secret club have never gotten a close look at that ’flower on a high peak,’ so a lot of them have wrangled invitations. They’re planning to go find so inspiration in person."

"This is basically pornography. You’re all playing with fire. If my brother and Silas Norwood find out, you’re going to die horrible deaths."

"So, are you going to tell your brother?"

Celia Sterling remained silent, rely saving the Moonlight docunt to her favorites folder.

As for the Cinnabar Mole docunt, even with a hundred tis the nerve, she wouldn’t dare cross that line and read a steamy fanfic about her own brother. After a few seconds of hesitation, she painfully deleted it.

"If..." Quinn Sinclair began, seeing the pained look on her face and giving her a subtle, knowing eyebrow-raise, "soday you suddenly change your mind about the Cinnabar Mole fic, I can send it to you again."

「Sterling Group, Chairman’s Office.」

"Is Cece awake?" Kian Sterling looked up from his work and asked Evan Rhodes casually. "Have the kitchen prepare so restorative soup for soone who’s been up late."

Evan Rhodes lowered his head to contact the bodyguards at the villa. A few minutes later, he answered respectfully.

"She woke up a little before ten. The Sinclair family’s third young miss is at the villa, with her in the bedroom. According to the butler, the two of them have been lying on the bed, engrossed in their phones. The butler called for the Young Miss three tis but couldn’t get her to co out, so he had breakfast brought to the bedroom."

Kian Sterling grunted in acknowledgnt and didn’t inquire further.

The internal line rang.

Evan Rhodes answered. After a mont, he looked at Kian Sterling. "That Young Master Wyatt Sutton from Port Sovereign has requested another appointnt, sir."

"I’m not seeing him." Kian Sterling’s eyes turned cold. "Tell him that if he’s so fond of tropia’s ’feng shui,’ I’d be happy to dismantle his little nest back in Port Sovereign for him."

「Oakhaven, Nine Realms Studio.」

An uninvited guest sat down in front of Sumr Sutton.

He took off his hat, mask, and sunglasses, revealing a gaunt, severe face. His height was unremarkable, but his eyes, deep-set and sunken, were chillingly cold.

"You went to a lot of trouble to find , Second Young Master Sutton." Sumr Sutton glanced at the mask and sunglasses he had tossed carelessly on the table. "Aren’t you afraid The Ninth Master will give you trouble?"

"Why be so formal? You can call Second Brother, Sumr." Second Young Master Sutton, Brian Sutton, glanced at the bodyguards outside the door. "The Ninth Master has his thods, so of course I’m afraid. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have gone to the trouble of posing as a producer just to get in here and see you."

As he spoke, he placed an investnt contract on the table in front of her.

Sumr Sutton glanced at it, her expression souring. "Just a few days ago, Second Young Master Sutton, you were sending people to threaten . Have you decided to change tactics?"

"You and I are family, Sumr. When I learned The Ninth Master had forced you to retreat to Oakhaven, I couldn’t bear it. Consider this one-hundred-million-dollar investnt a little sothing to help you out in a pinch."

"We’re both adults here; let’s skip the gas." Sumr Sutton didn’t reach for the contract. "I know you want my shares, but you’ve co to the wrong person. The Ninth Master is still holding them in trust. So please show yourself out, Second Young Master Sutton."

"Of course I know the shares are still in The Ninth Master’s hands." Second Young Master Sutton let out a sinister laugh. "That’s precisely why I’ve co to discuss a partnership with you, dear sister."
