Chapter 693

Anton rembered the ti when he thought that he would never share the knowledge about his Diablo II system with his family, since he felt that it was dangerous. Over ti, he shared so but not all of it, but in hindsight, when one looked at his system with shallow eyes, it was simply like a portable dungeon.

It was amazing, but not sothing that would cause powerful wizards to go out of their minds to acquire. It would probably be treated as sothing good to research about, but would not truly imdiately increase a wizard’s power.

Besides, ever since the beginning, Anders and Anna had been tight-lipped about Anton’s powers and only shared things with others things that he had given tacit approval to be shared.

Of course, his system was not that simple, but even Anton would not be able to explain the full intricacies of what a transmigrator system was. He did not even know how it ca to be, so how could he explain sothing complex?

Anton could see that his father was a little disappointed that Anders could not enter his Diablo II system world. He got a feeling that the disappointnt was not all about experiencing killing monsters inside the world of Diablo, but about gaming. He laughed inside and did not actually believe that his father wanted to ga, but Anton did wish that he could have experienced so of the famous gas back on Earth.

So would argue that no otaku would wish for computer gas when he could experience the fantasy world in real life, but Anton rembered when he was young, back on Earth, due to a lack of finances, gaming on a good PC was just a dream.

When dinner ti arrived, the only people in the dining room were Anton, Anders, Alfred, and so of the n in the family. The girls were still in the cinema watching the event. Anton wondered what took them so long since the parade was only supposed to happen before the movie started. Once everyone was inside the cinema, the parade of clothes was done.

The girls arrived late, and Anton learned that after they watched the second premiere night, a lot of wealthy girls gathered to gossip, and since Anna and her friends were at the center of it all, they were the highlight of the night.

They even foolishly shared information about the fashion magazine, which caused Romina to beco very angry. The concept of a fashion magazine was supposed to be a surprise and would be pioneered by their family since it was easy to copy. Everyone knew that once Romina’s fashion magazine was launched and was successful, a lot of business-minded people would probably copy it.

Now, Romina had no choice but to work extrely fast to make sure that the family remained the first to release fashion magazines.

Even Luna was livid because the fashion magazine had beco her dream job, and because of Anna and her friends' excitent at becoming the belles of the ball, they shared sothing they should not have.

Anna and her classmates apologized profusely to Romina and Luna, and after a while, they forgave them.

Anders and Anton did not approach that topic and left the issue with the won.

The next day, the whole of Rose Manor was filled with excitent about the premiere of Avatar: The Way of Water that night. There would be more people watching the film since the theater was full for the second showing of the first film in the Avatar film franchise.

Anton just shook his head when he saw everyone was already preparing for the event that night, even though it was as early as eight in the morning. He briefly wondered how vain, idle rich people were. Their neighbor kingdom was supposed to be at war with the undead, but everyone was treating it as sothing that was happening very far away that did not affect them the least. He could not fault any of the Ormundans since the citizens of New Drennor were the sa. Even the people from ndoza were the sa when their situation was dire.

Anders stayed in his office to avoid all the shenanigans that were happening in the manor. Anton was in one of the manor’s salons together with Alfred and so of his friends, playing so sort of board ga. They were just basically waiting for the movie showing that night, but Anton could see that everyone was truly excited.

At around four in the afternoon, those who would watch the film left the manor to eat dinner in one of the fancy restaurants near the cinema. The family had to reserve several tables to accommodate the family mbers who joined them.

Once dinner was over, which was a bit early since they were done at around half past five in the afternoon, the girls prepared themselves for entering the cinema. They made sure that their gowns and accessories were all in place. The n just looked on, unbelieving at the behavior of the won. It would have been a little understandable if only the girls were behaving like showing off their dresses was the most important event of the night, but even the older ladies like Romina, Sarah, Ronia, and Mrs. Noria were the sa.

As soon as they arrived at the entrance of the cinema, the girls walked slowly as if they were in a parade. Anton was flabbergasted that there were even people taking images of the people entering the cinema using magic item recorders.

Raymond whispered to him that most of the people holding the recorders were from Romina since she planned to include the images in the first release of her fashion magazine.

Anton was truly surprised at that information. At first, he thought that it would take Romina months to finalize the release of the fashion magazine, but according to what the butler had said, it would probably just take Romina and her cohorts days after the showing of the last film in the Avatar franchise for the magazine to be launched. He realized then that Anton should never underestimate won’s interest in fashion.

Fortunately, those who were not interested in parading themselves, which was mostly the n who did not have a partner who coerced them into showing off, were allowed to enter the cinema through the side door.

By the ti everyone who was invited to see Avatar: The Way of Water in the two cinemas, it was already around eight in the evening. When the movie started, just like the other audience mbers, Anton was hooked on the film while wearing his 3D glasses. The movie was truly a spectacle to behold, and he could relate a little since he had an adventure under the sea recently.

The movie was very long and just like in the first film, Anton did not put a break in the middle. Besides, everyone was already aware that there would be no breaks, so more than likely everyone ca prepared.

It was a truly magical evening. The movie was not simply an entertainnt but an experience. When the movie ended, everyone clapped so hard for so long, and just like in the first film, Anna requested the trailers for the last film so the ladies could prepare their clothes.

Anton had already prepared two copies of the trailers, and they were shown in both cinemas. When the movie ended, instead of leaving, the audience stayed to continue talking about the film. The wizards in the audience talked about the alien species in the movie, their way of life, and their magic. Most n talked about the battle sequences while the ladies talked about what clothes they would wear for the last film.
