Chapter 687
Everyone in the manor was busy preparing for the dinner celebration that would happen that night in celebration of Anton’s Supre Wizard rank confirmation. Even though the only ones who would be attending were the family and all of the other people in the manor, Mrs. Noria wanted to make sure that the feast would be sothing that she could boast about.
In the anti, Anton and Anders were in Anders’s office talking.
“I’m a little surprised at Anna’s living situation in the academy. It’s opulent! It’s a suite with a living room, four bedrooms, and a bathroom,” Anton told his father.
“It’s not surprising. Anna told
that her classmates were mbers of so of the richest clans in these parts of Ormunda,” Anders replied.
“I’m a little sad that Anna is already behaving like a young lady instead of a little kid that she is,” Anton mused.
Anders sighed. The father and son knew that their experiences were the cause of Anna and Anton’s rapid maturity. First, their mother, Anders’s wife, died early, causing Anna to shoulder a lot of a woman’s responsibilities in the house since their father and Anton were busy in the fields, making sure that their farm would have enough yield for the king’s taxes and for their own food.
Even though the farm was a lot of work, Anders told Anton that they were sowhat content with their life. Anton was still perpetuating the belief that he had forgotten everything due to the sickness that arrived in their village, instead of admitting that he was not the actual Anton but Anthony Saunders from Earth. Thankfully, he was not the only one who contracted the sickness that caused coma and amnesia in their small village. He even theorized that so of those who survived the supposed sickness were also transmigrators. Unfortunately, he did not et any of them before they had to escape the village from the attack of the undead. Anton still sotis wondered if there were other transmigrators.
The father-and-son duo discussed a wide range of topics. They talked about how much level Anders gained from delving into the dungeon. Anton’s father told him that his Paladin level was already at 34. Anton admitted to his father that he felt the speed of leveling was a little slow, but Anders assured him that it was actually extrely fast. It was so fast that the mbers of his father’s group were becoming powerful adventurers and were earning a high reputation among the adventurers. Because of that, a lot of adventurers were applying to be part of Anders’s group, and a lot of groups were trying to poach so of Anders’s n.
Unfortunately for the other adventurer groups, every one of Anders’s n knew that the only reason they were able to beco powerful so fast was because of the help that Anders’s son, who was a powerful wizard, had provided, and if they left, they would probably revert to normal adventurers. They were right, of course, but they did not know exactly what kind of help Anton had provided Anders and his n. They only knew that if they delved into the dungeon together with Anders, the rate of their progress in their class was astonishingly fast.
“I told Anna that there would be a huge surprise for her once she returned ho during her school break,” Anton told his father.
“You didn’t tell her any details?”
“No. I know Anna’s mature enough to keep secrets, but the wizards of her school were cunning old mages, and they knew how to manipulate young minds. They might be able to get the secrets from her without any difficulty.”
“Is it sothing that we need to keep secret? Unique classes are not that rare, especially when you have the coins to buy them. Once Anna receives the class that you will bestow on her, they would just assu that the family stumbled into a unique class scroll and gave it to her.”
“You may be right, father. Still, it would be best if we just keep it in the family.”
“Have you decided which class you will bestow on Anna?”
“I’m going to present all seven and let her choose. I don’t care even if she chose the Necromancer class. The best thing is for her to enjoy the class. Besides, I’m quite sure that she’ll probably choose the Sorceress class. It would be fun to imagine if she chose sothing like the Barbarian class, though. It would be so funny to see her wielding a huge maul,” Anton said, then laughed. Anders just stared at him, unamused.
“You ntioned that in a few weeks, you will be able to create new legendary items, right?” Anders asked.
“Yes. But each one of them will take a long ti. Do you need more items?”
“Well, it’s good to beco more powerful,” Anders said with a blush.
Anton did not mind. He almost had a full set already that he had managed to transfer from the ga to the real world, and the upcoming update, his Diablo system would also give her new item slots that would also be reflected in the real world. So in truth, he now had three item slots. One from his Diablo II ga. The second was the real world, and the third would be the slots from Diablo Immortal.
More than likely, the item slots from Diablo Immortal would be the sa as his Diablo II item slots. He had a special item slot in his Diablo II ga that was being reflected in the real world, which was different from the item slots that every character had.
At first, Anton intended to mix and match the best items from different character classes, but in reality, he was lazy enough to continue using his Sorceress items in the item slots.
Anton could not be faulted since his Sorceress items were geared toward increasing the power of his Sorceress’s skills, which were the skills he mainly used for combat.
He told his father that he planned to return to delving into the high-level dungeon since he spent a lot of his coins remaining in his inventory and spent the majority of the high-level mana stones that he had managed to save confirming his status as a Supre Rank wizard.
“Can I join you?” Anders excitedly asked.
Anton thought for a couple of minutes. If he were delving the 65th floor and below, he would never bring his father because there was a large chance that Anders would die there. The monsters on the floor that deep were truly powerful, and Anton had to utilize every movent and defensive ability in his arsenal to battle the monsters there.
Normally, though, for his gold dungeon runs, Anton only delved into the 30th floor, and all the work was being done by his summons, while he rested inside the small tent that he placed on top of his Dire Bear. That ant that it would probably be fine for his father to join him.
“Sure, you can co with , Father. I have to tell you, though, that during my dungeon gold run, I only delved into the 30th floor, and all the work was being done by my summons. If you join , I’ll probably be doing the sa while you join my summons in fighting the monsters. Are you fine with that?”
Anders looked extrely excited. He looked like a young man and said that it was fine. They scheduled the dungeon run for the next day and told Raymond that their delve would probably last for three or four days.
