Chapter 580

Anton gave a detailed description of the skills that the person who was holding the Insight Runeword spear would acquire once he or she was holding the said item.

“The Insight Weapon would give the holder an aura called the ditation Aura. The ditation aura would allow up to eight people, including the holder, to have an extrely fast mana or energy regeneration rate. I have discovered that the effect of mana regeneration also allows mages to morize spells extrely quickly. Because of this, by morizing spells, expending them, and then morizing them again, they can rank up extrely fast. With our experint in the dungeon, once those affected by ditation Aura killed dungeon monsters, the energy from the monsters that allows a class to level up multiplies, allowing the class holder to level up extrely fast, just like the mages did when they morized and expended spells. Not only that, the legendary spear would give the holder enhanced damage and additional fire damage towards their enemies.”

“So what you’re saying is, the spear is also a very powerful weapon. How does it compare to my mace?”

“You’re mace is much more powerful when it cos to damaging enemies. Ultimately, it would be your decision if you want to use the spear or the mace. If you use the Insight spear, you will be in control of the party system. If you use the Heart of the Oak mace, you will be the main damage dealer.”

After a few minutes of contemplation, Anders made his decision.

“I think I’ll be using the mace myself and would just let Daniel or Ingrid use the spear.” Read full story at novel★fire

“Daniel is a plant mage, right? Are you going to let him beco just a mobile support, and do you really trust your vice-captains?”

“I trust them enough. They have been loyal to

so far. Besides, I’ll only allow them to use the spear in my presence. Regarding who will use the spear, we’ll talk about it first.”

Once Anton’s father reached that decision, he rang the bell that summoned Mr. Jenkins and asked the butler to call Daniel and Ingrid. After a few minutes, Anders’ vice-captains arrived.

Anders was the one who explained to Daniel and Ingrid the function of the Insight Spear. Both vice-captains beca wide-eyed while looking at the weapon. The three talked for a while regarding who would use the spear. The talk was so long that Anton got bored and discreetly entered his Diablo II system to browse funny short videos. After a whopping three hours, Anders and his vice-captains had decided that it would be Ingrid who would be using the spear. The main gist of their decision was that the spear was too mighty to be carried by a support mber. Daniel looked unsatisfied with that decision, though, and Anton overheard him saying that so of the stats of the legendary spear catered towards spellcasters, but since the decision had been made, he had no choice but to accept it.

Since Anders and his vice-captains were excited to feel the effects of the legendary spear, they had decided that they would delve into the dungeon the next day.

“Are you not going to rest for at least a day?” Anton complained to his father.

“We do have the rest of the day and night to rest,” Anders said with resolve.

Since Anton had just co back from the dungeon after six days, he would rest for a couple more days.

Once their eting was over, Anders was surprised when Luna and Alfred asked to et with him. Anton knew what it was all about, so he made his excuses and left. After a few hours, Anton learned that his father agreed to allow Luna and Alfred to host the cosplay party, but Romina, with the help of Mr. Jenkins, Ronia, and Mr. Normandy, would supervise the party. All the necessary funding would be handled by Romina. Besides, the treasure room was opened for Romina and Bruce, and Anders gave them instructions to be very generous when it ca to the family and to the manor’s people.

During dinner, everyone was surprised to learn that Anders and his group would leave the next day for the dium-level dungeon.

“Why are you not going to rest?” Romina asked.

“I just acquired a legendary weapon that would allow

and my group to level up extrely fast. That will allow

to beco extrely powerful in a short amount of ti,” Anders said straightforwardly.

“What about you, Anton? Are you also leaving tomorrow?” Bruce asked.

“No. I’ll rest for a couple more days.”

“You can attend our cosplay party!” Luna said excitedly.

“When are you planning to hold it?” Anton asked the girl.

When Anton learned that it would be held in five days, he declined since he would be inside the dungeon by then.

“Why do both of you and Uncle Anders want to stay in the dungeon all the ti?” Alfred asked curiously.

It was Anders who answered Alfred’s question.

“The dungeons will allow us to beco powerful fast. Unfortunately, this world is not peaceful, and there may co a ti when our power is the only one that will keep our family safe.”

“I want to go into the dungeon too to beco powerful!” Alfred exclaid.

“Sure, once you are of age,” Anders said, which made Alfred pout because to the boy, reaching adult age was going to be a lifeti.

Anton then distracted Alfred and Luna by telling them about another movie franchise that he was sure they would love. He then described the world of Star Wars, which made Luna and Afred's eyes go wide. The funny thing was, not only did Luna and Alfred beco excited, but everyone else also beca highly interested, especially when Anders added the fact that he had already seen the films that Anton was talking about and that Anton wasn’t giving the movies justice when it ca to describing them.

The next day, Anders left early with his group while Anton, Luna, and Alfred waved at them from the manor’s gate. During the rest of the day, Anton did nothing but idle around. He made sure that the garden and the fruit orchard were well-watered. He also added a lot more fruits from the orchards to his inventory. He also went to the city to shop around, but he mostly bought food that he stored in his inventory.

The next day, he did the sa, but that ti, he was accompanied by Luna and Alfred, who were excited to roam around with Anton instead of attending their lessons. They visited all the shops and bought all the things that they took a fancy to. Anton was carrying a lot of gold coins, so he was extrely generous. He even purchased spatial rings for Luna and Alfred, who took it upon themselves to make sure not to leave one of the shopping areas of Ormunda without making sure that their spatial rings were full. Thankfully, there were spatial rings that could be used by non-mages available in Ormunda.

Luna’s ring was full of clothes, pieces of jewelry, books, snacks, and anything that a young, rich lady wanted to buy. Alfred’s spatial ring was full of toys, candies, snacks, all types of food, fruit juices, so clothes, and anything else that the young boy wanted.

Anton was the sa. He purchased things that he thought he could use inside the dungeon, like additional beds, mobile toilets, and all sorts of stuff. Because of the three’s spending spree, their nas were becoming well-known in the rchant’s circle as young people with an unlimited amount of gold coins. Even Luna and Alfred’s two attendants weren't spared and were coerced into buying whatever they wanted. Mr. Normandy was the sa, and Anton was amused to see both Luna and Alfred forcefully purchasing things for their loyal guardian.
