Chapter 547

Anton, Raymond, Ronia, and Torbin went to Raymond’s office to continue talking about the manor’s business. Inside the butler’s office, they all sat on the sofa while Ronia served tea to everyone.

“You know what, Anton, I preferred these very informal settings that you wanted from your servants,” Torbin said while drinking a mug of ale. Anton had no idea where Torbin got the mug of ale from.

“I’m still very uncomfortable with this behavior. Once his father arrived and they purchased a title, we have to change how we’re behaving,” Mr. Jenkins told everyone while he drank tea.

“Then we’ll change then. You’re all very competent, so I’m sure that you all could manage that,” Anton shrugged.

“By the way, so of the gardeners reported that they felt better after bathing from the magic rain that you have been casting,” Raymond said.

“I did tell you that the mana water had great benefits,” Anton replied.

“I wish that we could store it so we could use it every day,” Ronia sighed, and Anton just shrugged and ignored that comnt.

He didn’t want to commit himself to producing mana water every day, just like what he did when Anton was on the ship with his family. He could do it for his father and his sister, but not for his employees.

“Can the earnings of the flower shop cover the expenses of the manor?” Anton asked Raymond.

“It’s too early to tell since the shop had only been open for a day, but my rough guess is no if the shop just focused on selling flowers. If so of the perfurs partnered with us, then maybe, but again, it's too early to tell,” the butler said.

What about the enchanted items that I’ve made? Are they enough for the whole manor?” Anton asked Ronia.

“The lanterns are enough, and we do have extras on standby. Even the gardens are now fully lit during the night. We still need a few more enchanted air conditioners and enchanted stoves. We have enough of the enchanted items that produce water. By the way, what will we do if the Mana inside the Mana storage runs out?” Ronia asked.

“I will create a large mana power bank. It’s a magic item that I invented that would allow

to store a huge amount of mana into the item, and all other enchanted items that I’ve made can be recharged through that. Preferably, it should be a large table, so go ahead and get one for . It should be the sa size as Raymond’s table, and you can place it in an accessible area, so everyone can recharge their items anyti they want. I couldn’t do anything about the durability, though, so all of the items will be destroyed after they have been used for a long ti. In that case, I’ll just go ahead and create so more.”

“How short is the items' durability?” Mr. Jenkins frowned.

“Depends on the item and the usage. You don’t have to worry too much, Raymond. Even the items that are well used will last at least a year, since all of the items were what I call lifestyle items. If they were offensive items like a magic wand, then the durability would be very short. I also planned to create a lot more enchanted items that we can store, so anything that was destroyed will be replaced imdiately.”

“When will you need the table?” Ronia asked.

“It’s not imdiate, but anyti during the next few days is fine. Just put it in my office. What about the manor’s budget? Are we doing fine on that?”

“The budget’s fine. It will be months before we will require you to add more to it.”

“The flower shop’s earnings will go to the manor’s budget,” Anton told Raymond.

“Well, that will extend the budget for a long ti,” the butler said.

“What about the guards? Do we have enough of them?” Anton asked Torbin.

“Right now, we have 16 guards. We need more of them, but it’s not urgent. I recomnd that we wait for your father and check with him, since you did ntion that he has a rcenary group. He would be more well-versed when it cos to the manor’s security,” Torbin said, and Anton nodded and then turned his attention to Raymond.

“We have enough maids, footn, and other servants in the manor for now. It will depend on how large your family will be once they arrive,” Mr. Jenkins said.

After talking about the manor’s business for a couple of hours, Anton declared that he was tired, so they stopped and he headed directly to his room to rest.

When he arrived in his room, Anton opened the window to the garden and was srized by the view. It was supposed to be dark because it was already nightti, but the garden had several enchanted Firebolt lanterns that were placed strategically all over the place, causing the garden to look like so sort of fairyland. The sll was truly sweet, but Anton wanted to intensify it, so he cast the Blizzard spell again, which was converted into Mana rain, and wondered if he was drowning the garden in water.

Anton had to admit that the Rose manor had beco truly beautiful, and he couldn’t wait to present it to his father and sister.

He slept peacefully that night with the help of the Pearl of the Ocean, and the next day, his breakfast was brought into the room by Raymond. He had to admit that living the life of a rich man in this kingdom was aweso. The breakfast was toasted bread, fried scrambled eggs, bacon, fried tomato, and so sort of beans with so sauce. There was a pitcher of cold juice and cold warm milk.

“How did you make the juice cold?” Anton asked the butler.

“The kitchen has a cold storage room, and its effectiveness was intensified by your air conditioners. We placed several of them inside the cold storage room.”

Anton laughed at the ingenuity of his employees. He did miss eating so of the Earth’s specialties, though, like Ice Cream and Soda. He wondered if the cold storage room would be enough for those recipes.

“Can you ask Ms. Noria and the other cooks to co into the cinema room after an hour? I will present a video to them that contains the cooking recipes of so of the dishes that I would like to eat,” Anton suddenly said to Raymond while he was eating, and the butler just said, “Very well”.

After he was done with his breakfast, Anton was led into the cinema room by Mr. Jenkins. When he arrived there, Ms. Noria, Ronia, and five other people were waiting. He told them that they would need a pen and paper to take notes on the videos that he would be showing them.

During the next few hours, he showed them so video instructions from the most famous streaming site on how to make ice cream, soda, smoothie, pizza, hamburger,

and taco. He had to repeat and pause the videos a lot so that everyone could take notes of the recipes and the processes on how to make them. After that session, he asked Ms. Noria and the other cooks if they could replicate the food that they had seen, and they aggressively told him that the recipes were easy enough. They then promised him that they would be able to master them before his father and his sister arrived.
