Anton headed directly to the guild branch beside the dungeon entrance of the Corridor of Amuneta. Just like in the area where the Beginner Dungeon was located, he wasn’t worried that there wouldn’t be any room in the massive hotel after he exited the dungeon. Based on what he knew, it would always have rooms available.

He knew that Anton couldn’t do what he did before, which was to return to his ho after every dive. The distance between this dungeon and his house was a little far. He decided to spend a week here before returning to his house in Ormunda. He couldn’t stay away more than that because he needed to check if letters had co in from his father or sister.

Anton approached one of the receptionists at one of the counters in the guild branch.

“How may I help you?” The lady asked.

Anton presented his Diamond Rank guild card.

“I want to delve into the deepest floor that I can based on my rank.”

The receptionist tapped his card in a crystal ball in front of her and started reading so information. Anton thought that the lady receptionist was probably reading his information. After a few minutes, the receptionist handed him a dungeon key and then inford him that the deepest floor he was allowed to go on was the 30th floor. Once he completed several diamond rank quests, the deeper floors would be open to him. After that, the receptionist gestured at the adventurer behind him.

Anton liked the no-nonsense straightforwardness of the receptionist. There wasn’t any hullabaloo, and she just gave him the key. He didn’t need to explain or repeat that he was diving alone or so such thing.

After that, Anton headed directly to the dungeon’s entrance and queued to enter. Surprisingly, there was a line in front of the dungeon portal. There were more than a dozen groups or parties of adventurers waiting to enter.

While he was waiting to enter, Anton noticed that the group in front of him and the group that just ca in behind him stared at him. One of the people in front of him probably couldn’t remain silent anymore.

“What floor are you entering?” The man asked.

“I’m entering the 30th floor,” Anton replied.

“Alone!” he gasped, and Anton simply nodded.

The man just shook his head and returned to conversing with his party mates. The group behind him did the sa thing. Anton realized that they probably thought of him as soone who was desperate enough to go alone inside a high-level dungeon and that he probably wouldn’t survive the adventure.

Anton didn’t care and just waited for his turn. He noticed that, unlike the Beginner Dungeon and the Dungeon of Balathar, the entrance to the Corridor of Amuneta was guarded by several soldiers and guild staff. He saw that the guild staff was checking the adventurers' guild card by tapping it on a crystal ball that the guild staff was carrying.

When it was his turn, he directly asked the guild staffer regarding the checking of the identification card when the beginner dungeon and the mid-level dungeons didn’t. The guild staff simply shrugged and said that it was the rule.

After checking so information in his crystal ball, the guild staff gestured at Anton to move forward. He imdiately activated the dungeon portal using his key and then entered.

Anton arrived at a familiar place. The map that was generated by the dungeon for him was sothing that he encountered before in the Beginner Dungeon, as well as the Dungeon of Balathar. It was a maze of ancient ruins. He wondered if the dungeons of Ormunda had limited thes when it ca to the biodo that it generated for adventurers. At least, dungeons were instanced. He didn’t have to bother with any other adventurers.

According to what he knew, monsters from high-level dungeons were much cleverer compared to the monsters from the Beginner Dungeon and the Mid-level dungeons. Anton didn’t want to take any chances, so he activated all of his defensive buffs available to him, which were the Sorceress Frozen Armor and Energy Shield, the Druid’s Cyclone Armor and the Oak Sage summon, and the Necromancer’s Bone Armor. He thought of activating so of the other defensive spells like the Assassin’s Blade Shield, Burst of Speed, Fade, and Cloak of Shadows, but Anton didn’t want to keep activating several spells after their duration ended. Besides, the best defensive skills that he had were the passive skills from his characters, like the Amazon’s Dodge, Avoid, and Evade, the Barbarian’s Iron Skin, and Natural Resistances, and the Paladin’s ditation Aura, which ca from his rcenary’s weapons. Regarding the aura that ca from him, Anton would activate the one that the situation needed.

The next thing he did was summon a Raven to act as his scout. He didn’t summon anything else because, just like the first ti he entered the 50th floor of the Dungeon of Balathar, he wanted his first fight on this high-level dungeon to be a pure casting battle. If the fight proved to be difficult and there was a need for him to summon his minions, then he would do so.

Anton then used his Telekinesis spell to fly. He didn’t want to gamble with his life, so he didn’t want to trigger any traps that were on the floor of the dungeon. He summoned a Spirit Wolf and would command it to walk just before him to trigger any traps that were placed on the floor.

Using the eyes of his Raven, he saw that the first open chamber that the summon arrived at had around eight gargoyle statues that were placed on the side of the chamber like guards, and the one at the farthest point was a large cyclops statue. Beyond the large cyclops statue was a closed entrance.

Anton assud that he would have to defeat the gargoyles and the stone cyclops before he could move forward. He started flying forward slowly while his spirit wolf walked in front of him.

Several traps were triggered by the Spirit Wolf until it died. Anton simply summoned a new one and used it to trigger the traps on the road. Anton was flabbergasted at the number of tis the Spirit Wolf died due to traps. The traps were so nurous that he couldn’t imagine how the other adventurers could survive them. More than likely, though, so of them had skills that allowed them to detect traps like Thieves or Rogues from gas.

When he reached the entrance to the chamber where the gargoyle and the stone cyclops were located, Anton made sure that all of his defensive spells were at their peak, then he dismissed the wolf and the raven and entered the chamber.

Anton rolled his eyes when the door behind him dramatically closed off. Four of the gargoyles ca alive and flew towards him. He cast Chain Lightning at them and was surprised to see the four gargoyles briefly stagger from the lightning attack. He then followed the attack with Frozen Orb. He alternated in casting Chain Lightning and Frozen Orb until the four gargoyles crumpled to dust. The other four gargoyles ca alive, and so did the “boss,” which was the stone cyclops.

He cast Chain Lightning at the four gargoyles that were flying fast towards him to stagger the stone monsters, then looked at the stone cyclops that was running towards him.

Anton was surprised at how fast the Stone Cyclops was moving, so he summoned his Clay Golem to intercept the cyclops.
