Anton showed everyone the recording of the last hour of the battle between the ship’s mages and the powerful sea creatures. Everyone exclaid at how fearful and powerful the sea monsters were, and even though Anton had seen them before, he completely agreed with his family that the sea monsters were truly fearso beings.

While watching the battle, Anton saw that all the mages were truly excited. He saw them trembling and knew that their blood was boiling. He knew since he was the sa as them and was sure that the ambition to beco powerful mages had now truly awakened in them.

“Those monsters are mighty! How can any ordinary ship pass through the straits without powerful mages?” Anders asked.

“Only powerful ships can pass through this area. If a ship thinks they are not powerful enough, they bypass this area of the ocean, and that would add another three to four months to the sea travel from Rendindura to the Gale continent,” Philip answered.

After the recording was done, instead of resting, all the mages said that they were too excited to sleep so they all stayed at their seats and started exercising their mana by casting their spells on their mana power banks and morizing their spells again.

“Anton, you have to make us another large mana power bank that we can use to cast our spells. Please make sure that we can release the stored mana,” Anna said to him, and Anton simply nodded.

They actually did not talk about getting the coffee table mana power bank from the ship’s mages since it’s kind of embarrassing to try to get it back from the Supre Wizards. More than likely, Anders would just ask Antonia to tell the ship’s mages to pay him for the coffee table, and thankfully, Antonia agreed and assured Anton’s father that it was not a problem.

Since the cinema was still going to be closed the next day, everyone planned to watch the Star Wars films tomorrow afternoon after the mages ca back from their classes. They knew that by then, they would be calm and relaxed enough to enjoy the films and could appreciate them fully.

Antonia, Lucia, and Philip were curious about what the films were all about so Anton gave them the synopsis for the films. He actually did not know how the people of this world would receive the old science fiction films. At least with the new ones like Avatar, even if the story was simple, the fact that the graphics were mind bending ant that viewers would be able to appreciate the artistry of the film but Star Wars was an old film and the graphics were a bit simpler, at least compared to the new science fiction films. One thing the Star Wars films had going for them was their epic and amazing storyline.

Anton warned them of the fact that the graphic quality was a bit lower than the Avatar film but he ntioned that the story was truly good and that seed enough to excite them to watch the films.

Aside from the mages, who were now busy with their magic practice even though it was late, it seed like Anders and the others did not want to rest yet, so they spent ti at the dinner table talking about different things like their business plans and so other stuff. After a few minutes, Anton got bored listening to the talks, so he said goodnight and entered his room.

He planned to create a large mana power bank first as requested by Anna, so he inspected the art pieces that he bought from the Islands of Norbuna, trying to choose the best one where he could inscribe the mana power bank enchantnts together with the release switch that would allow the mages to release the mana stored into the environnt.

Anton chose a good-looking wall mirror. The fra looked like silver, and the back was so sort of hard wood. It was large enough for his purpose, so he imdiately engraved the enchantnts on the back and added the switches that the enchanted item needed.

After an hour, he was done, so Anton exited his Diablo II system and brought the item into the main living room. He was surprised to see that everyone was still awake. The mages were still practicing their magic and his father and the others were still deep in discussion.

“What are you carrying, Anton?” Anders asked.

“It’s our new mana power bank. Selena, can you help

choose the best place where I can place this mirror?” Anton asked Selena since she was now the family’s resident decorator.

“Give the mirror to Colin so he can assist Selena in placing the mirror to the best place,” Anton’s father said and Colin, Frederick and Selena approached him.

Colin took the mirror from Anton, and he pointed to Frederick where the switches were. After that, he returned to his room. At first, Anton wanted to waste ti surfing the internet but it was getting late and he had classes the next day so he decided to rest. At least, with the help of the Pearl of the Ocean, it did not matter if there was a little noise outside his room. He knew, though, that soon everyone would rest as well since they, too, had classes the next day.

Anton joined his family for breakfast the next day and, after that, went to attend his classes. When he arrived at the wizards’ hall that was converted into a magic academy, he was greeted by his classmates.

During his classes, Anton realized that it was a mistake for him to choose to learn the history of a specific location like what he did when he was in Zalnothel. He even felt that it was a mistake for him to learn the noble etiquette since as a powerful wizard, everyone would respect him, especially the non-mages, in whatever party or gathering he attended, even if he was not well-versed in the local etiquette. In his opinion, being respectful and polite was enough for mages.

He decided that he would only choose to learn about magic from then on and nothing else. There was so much knowledge one could tackle when it ca to magic that there simply was not enough ti, and realize that the advantage of those who were in a family of mages or a system like a formal mage’s school was the organized way the wizards would learn their knowledge. Unlike he and his classmates who tried to choose what they thought was the best knowledge they needed to learn.

Anton was thankful then that his main focus as a wizard was his Diablo II system and that ant that the disadvantages that he might have for not being part of a system like a mage’s family or a wizard school was offset by the fact.

After their classes, Anton and his classmates went to their favorite restaurant to eat lunch. While they were eating, he told them about the battle with the sea creatures that the ship mages had fought during the last few minutes while they were passing through the Straits of Nehomonde.

“I wish I could have seen that battle,” Edward sighed.

“Oh, I have the recording of the last hour of the battle,” Anton said and he then flagged a waiter and asked if he could show his classmates a recording in one of the restaurant’s wall.

The waiter did not understand, so he called the owner of the restaurant, and when Anton repeated his request, Rundall clarified by telling the owner that it was like so sort of a movie just like the ones from the cinema.
