Claude and Dominant Sky were in the middle of strolling the areas around the Greenwood City when they both suddenly felt the movent of mana in their surroundings
Both of them raised their heads to see sothing in the sky
That sothing was the wind that gathered at a single point and are moving at a fast speed
Inside the wind seems to be a person that landed in front of Claude
“R-Rezen?” Claude called out in surprise. He didn’t expect to see Rezen today and especially see him being carried by the winds
“Young Master, he was carried by the Fairy’s Assistance Scroll. Shadow Dog might have encountered enemies he can’t beat” Dominant Sky said
Shadow Dog is the guardian of the most talented mage in the younger generation of the Preston Family
In this case, he should be guarding Claude. However, Claude’s talent and skills were sothing that the Clan had never seen before
His talent and luck exceeded any other mber of the family throughout the history
A mage already close to reaching the 6th fusion rank when he was just in his early to mid-twenties… that’s a talent that has never been seen before
If Claude manages to break through and reach the next rank, he will beco the youngest mage to ever reach the 6th rank
As such, instead of just being guarded by Shadow Dog, the Preston Family even mobilized a 6th fusion rank mage to always protect him
Since Dominant Sky is with him, Claude ordered Shadow Dog to just guard and protect Rezen in the shadows
Since Claude himself is stronger than Shadow Dog, there is no need for the latter to guard him. It is better for Shadow Dog to guard the much weaker Rezen
Fairy’s Assistance Scroll is a rare item but Shadow Dog has it in case his abilities would not be enough to protect the person he should be protecting
Now that Rezen arrived here with the help of the scroll, the most likely thing that happened was them encountering great danger
“Miss Dominant Sky, please go and check on Shadow Dog!”
“Young Master, I cannot do that. My job is to protect you”
“Shadow Dog is in danger! He is the one that needs your protection right now!”
“I can’t! I can’t leave you alone”
“If you don’t go then I will”
The two stared at each other’s eyes, they were in a stalemate
Dominant Sky doesn’t want to leave Claude alone in case he encountered enemies he cannot defeat
On the other hand, if Claude decided to go and save Shadow Dog then his life might be in an even more danger
This puts Dominant Sky in a dilemma but as soon as she saw Claude giving Rezen to her to protect, she knew that she won’t have a choice
“Then… Young Master, go back inside the city. You would at least be safer there” Dominant Sky gave up and Claude nodded his head at her before her body soared in the air to tail the lingering aura from the usage of the scroll

Hotel
Inside a hotel room in the city, Rezen can be seen. His eyes were closed as he was still unconscious and in the sa room as he were two people
“My apologies, Young Master” Dominant Sky apologizes since she was unable to bring Shadow Dog back
She doesn’t even know who the perpetrators were and where they brought Shadow Dog
Dominant Sky might be a 6th fusion rank mage but even 7th rank mages are not omnipotent much less her
She can fight and everything but tracking is not sothing she can do since she’s not a sensory mage
All her spells were used for battling and not tracking people
“It’s not your fault. We can only hope that Rezen wakes up soon and tell us what happened” Claude said
Dominant Sky already tried to save Shadow Dog, it wasn’t her fault that soone abducted him
Since Dominant Sky didn’t see the corpse of Shadow Dog, they can only assu that he is still alive for now
“Hngg…”
Suddenly, Rezen stirred from his sleep. His face crumpled uncomfortably
He was not really injured or sothing since he has the habit of always consuming recovery pills and his wounds healed
It’s just that the winds that carried him were too fast that he lost consciousness before he can even consu a recovery pill
As such, now that he is slowly starting to wake up, the dizziness affected him again
“Ughhh” Rezen suddenly sat on the bed while his eyes were still closed. He opened his mouth as if he would vomit but nothing ca out to his luck, if not, he would make a ss of himself
Seeing that, Claude grabbed a bottle of water from the hotel room’s fridge and sat next to Rezen
“Hey, here, drink this” Claude said gently as he guided the bottle of water to Rezen that is now half-awake
Rezen obediently drank the water that helps his mind be more conscious
When he opened his eyes, the first thing he saw was a handso face as if it was sothing that was personally sculpted by the Gods
A pair of blue eyes were staring at him with concern and Rezen felt giddy inside him
What the hell? Why is it that as soon as he woke up the first thing he had seen was a drop dread gorgeous man and not a woman?
He’s not bent, alright?!
After a while, Rezen recognizes who the ‘drop dread gorgeous man’ was and he sigh
Turns out that it was just his Brother Claude. If it’s him, this kind of reaction should be ‘normal’
Even a perfectly straight man would be chard by that face. This is normal… normal, alright?
Soon, Rezen’s mories before he lose consciousness went back to him and his eyes widened in shock
“N-no… that Shadow Dog and my subordinates, are they safe?” Rezen asked in a panic
He doesn’t know who Shadow Dog is aside from the fact that he is from the Preston Family but that man still saved his life
Lord Keito might be his enemy before but now, that man is his subordinate. Naturally, he would care for him
As for Zero that was outside the barrier, nothing should be said anymore. Zero is the first ever subordinate that Rezen had. That person has a special place in his heart!
“Your subordinates?” Claude mumbled. He and Dominant Sky doesn’t know that
When Dominant Sky arrived at the place where the scroll was used, only blood and traces of fights were left
Not a single soul was left on site
Claude explained the situation to Rezen and after that, he hurriedly took his phone to call Zero and Keito but they didn’t answer him
Rezen tried to call his other subordinates to check if the two returned to the farm but they also weren’t there
“Rezen, what happened? Who attacked you?” Claude asks and Rezen gritted his teeth
“Twighlight Beast… it’s the Twighlight Beast…” he answered, his tone containing anger
Rezen is the one that sched against the Twighlight Beast and in that case he was the one in the wrong
However, the Twighlight Beast is a terrorist organization that rcilessly killed their fellow humans
Even if there might be good people inside the organization as long as they don’t stop their colleagues from committing acts of evil, they are no different
Not to ntion, the organization is filled with criminals and cruel people
As such, even if Rezen was the one that sched against them, he doesn’t feel the slightest bit of guilt since they are scums
However, now that his subordinates were abducted by them and their fate unknown…
“Twighlight Beast, it’s them again!” Claude muttered, his anger for the organization increasing
“Brother Claude, please help rescue my people!” Rezen pleaded
“I want to do that too but… we don’t know where they are…”
If people knew where the headquarters or branches of the Twighlight Beasts are, the mage families and governnt would already attack them
Unfortunately, even if a branch were found, others would stay hidden and they could just rebuild another base
To save Shadow Dog and Rezen’s subordinates, they might need to locate where the branch of Twighlight Beast in the city was
“Location? Brother Claude, are you saying that if we know where they are, you can help ?” Rezen asked hopefully and Claude nodded his head
“One of our people is also abducted by them. Many mage families and the governnt wants to erase them. As long as we know where they are, we can attack and save our people” Claude explained and Rezen nodded his head
“Brother, wait for here” Rezen said and he sneakily consud a recovery pill while walking towards the room’s bathroom
He went into the sink and locked the basin before opening the faucet to fill it with water
“Twighlight Beast… get ready to have one of your branches destroyed”
