'Seems like I wouldn't be able to enter the forest tonight again' Rezen thought with a sigh as he invited the new mbers of the tribe to his hut and Stone Head also followed while warning the tribesn with his eyes
As injuries are very common in the tribe, Rezen already developed his skill. He cleaned the wounds of those seriously injured with alcohol to minimize infection while he only used water for those that aren't that injured
Rezen doesn't have a lot of alcohol and he would only use them when necessary
After cleaning the wounds, Rezen would rub his herbal paste that has the effect of promoting cell activities to hasten the healing process
The last part is using a piece of clean beast skin to cover the wounded areas and after that, he is done
Rezen is not an authentic healer, after all, the only reason why he was able to heal people was thanks to the recipes that Ivy provided him with

"Wow! You're really popular, Rezen! Well, aside from the lack of muscles, your face is not bad, in so ways, you are even prettier than won!" Stone Head comnted while nodding his head in approval and Rezen almost kicked him in the nuts

Thanks to Stone Head's new magic spell, hunting has beco easier and safer for him and he managed to hunt more magic beasts than usual
That alleviates the food problem of the tribe to an extent
With Stone Head gone, Rezen went to the farm. Since the seeds were planted not too long ago, they still haven't sprouted
"If the tribe has enough food to last until the winter, I'll have more ti for myself" Rezen thought as he crouched down
Since the tribe already knew about his ability, there is no need to hold back
Rezen stretched his hand and threads of mana appeared at the tip of his fingers. These threads of mana entered the soil and they were absorbed by the potato seeds underground
Soon, the seeds started to sprout. The more mana of Rezen they absorbed, the faster they grew
"Argh... it's hard to maintain this many mana threads" Rezen muttered through gritted teeth but for the sake of having access to magic again, he forced himself to maintain the flow of mana until the potatoes grew stems and lush leaves
"Huff... huff... huff... if I was at my peak, this much is nothing" Rezen can't help but think and he can't wait for the ti when he could finally use magic again
"I-is that your ability? I-I never saw anyone capable of doing that"
Rezen turned his head to the source of that voice and he saw the old man from the Yusura Tribe
Since the other person is a Junior Mage, Rezen stood up and answered him respectfully
"It is indeed my ability and I want to use it with our potato farm"
"Potato farm?"
At that, Rezen nodded his head. "Yes, this is a new source of food for our tribe. We plant one potato and in ti, they would grow into more potatoes"
"Aren't potatoes hard and inedible? Why are you purposely growing them?" The old man asked, he can't believe that soone would purposely grow potatoes to consu them
"That's a common misconception. As long as the potatoes are cooked properly, they are completely edible" Rezen answered confidently before he continued. "By the way, may I know your na?"
"Ah! Right, I forgot to tell you my na. The people of our trib— previous tribe call Skinny Yan"
Rezen can't help but stare at this old man and he internally agreed. This person is really skinny, befitting of the na given to him
"My na is Rezen, I hope we could get along"
"I want to thank you for treating them. All of them praised your ability" Skinny Yan said sincerely and Rezen nodded his head
"I am the tribe's healer, I was just doing my job"
What a joke! Rezen has his current status all because he could heal people. If he doesn't do that then he would beco a normal mber of the tribe. No, he would even have a lower status since he can't use magic
"Still, we are grateful to you. I heard that you like collecting Spirit Plants. If there is anything that you wish to have, we'll try to search for them whenever we go out to hunt. I hope you could continue helping us integrate with the tribe"
Without Skinny Yan knowing, Rezen already read him
'It seems like this old man is quite smart. The Chief is on guard against them as they don't really know them yet. Stone Head has a rough personality just like the others and it would be hard to catch his heart and I beca their next target. As the tribe's healer, I have a high status but I also look easygoing. If they want to have an easier life in the tribe, they need to help them integrate with the life easier' Rezen thought with interest
"I'll do my best" Rezen replied and Skinny Yan patted him on the head as if he was a grandfather patting his grandson's head. He might have done that to initiate closeness with Rezen
