Northwest Region, Eye of the Storm.

This was a rare spectacle in the Northwest Region, a gigantic pit with a radius of a hundred miles, its depth unfathomable. Moreover, year-round fierce winds blew out from the depths of the pit, which was how the Eye of the Storm got its na.

Buffeted by unceasing winds over the years, the inner walls of the Eye of the Storm had beco smooth as a mirror and extraordinarily hard. The rocks deep within had even turned into Spiritual Material.

Therefore, occasionally, Golden Core and higher-stage Cultivators would co to the Eye of the Storm to hunt for treasures. So had found Sixth Stage Spiritual Material, but this was extrely dangerous.

During a normal storm, Golden Core Stage Cultivators could withstand the winds, but if a tempest were to erupt, possibly even Divine Transformation Venerables couldn't hold out. Furthermore, the timing of the storm's eruption within the Eye of the Storm was random.

At this mont, the Eye of the Storm was raging with an intense tempest.

In the deepest part of the Eye of the Storm, where almost no Cultivator had ever reached, there was a small concavity in the rock wall. Venerable Shenfeng, Feng Wuyue, and Feng Buji were there.

"Wuyue, when will this storm stop?" Feng Buji frowned as he looked at the knife-like winds outside and asked.

"Call

Master! If it weren't for Wei Cangsheng's tricks on you, why would I have beco Dao companions with you!" Venerable Shenfeng turned her head away, clearly annoyed.

"Right, right, Master, it's all my fault!" Feng Buji felt mixed emotions. Although he was happy to have his wish fulfilled, the thought of Wei Cangsheng irritated him.

"I don't know when the storm will end either, but only when it ends can we continue downward to search for the treasure that the Innate Xun Wind Pearl has sensed," Venerable Shenfeng said.

Her trip had two purposes: one was treasure hunting, and the other was to avoid the Cangsheng Sovereign. Both she and Feng Buji practiced the Path of the Wind and could reach depths inaccessible to other Cultivators.

After a dozen days or so, the tempest in the Eye of the Storm finally subsided.

"Let's continue downward!" Venerable Shenfeng's cheeks were flushed as she picked up a smirking Feng Buji and leaped downwards, heading deeper into the Eye of the Storm.

After who knows how much ti, Venerable Shenfeng and Feng Buji finally reached the bottom of the Eye of the Storm. At that mont, Venerable Shenfeng was holding a green pearl in her hand, the Innate Xun Wind Pearl.

The intensity of the violent winds here was only slightly weaker than when a tempest erupted. Without the treasure of the Innate Xun Wind Pearl, the two of them would not have made it to this point.

"What is this?" Feng Buji looked at the sight before him and exclaid in surprise.

Where their eyes landed was a sea of red, bubbling lava.

Above the lava hung a massive cylinder, from which the winds in the Eye of the Storm originated.

Ancient runes covered the surface of the cylinder, seemingly embodying the most primal power of the wind from nature. As the lava churned, the runes flickered with a ghostly green glow, creating a striking contrast against the surrounding crimson landscape.

Beyond his initial astonishnt, Feng Buji couldn't help but feel an intense shock, as if there were secrets powerful enough to shake the heavens and the earth hidden beneath this cylinder.

"This is... the Immortal Artifact 'Shenfeng Cannon'!" Venerable Shenfeng stared at those three archaic seal characters on the cylinder, a flash of excitent and reverence in her eyes.

"Legend has it that the Eye of the Storm was not naturally ford but rather a relic left behind by a wind master in ancient tis to suppress so terrifying force. I never imagined the legend would be true."

Upon hearing this, Feng Buji was trendously shocked. Although he was also a disciple of a great sect, he had only heard about such legendary immortal artifacts and had never expected to see one with his own eyes.

"Master, how then shall we retrieve this 'Shenfeng Cannon'?" Feng Buji asked, his eyes filled with anticipation as well as anxiety.

Venerable Shenfeng pondered for a mont and then said, "It is precisely because I sensed the guidance of the Innate Xun Wind Pearl that I ca here. It seems that we should be able to borrow the power of the Innate Xun Wind Pearl."

As she spoke, Venerable Shenfeng ford a seal with her hands, lifting the Innate Xun Wind Pearl high up as Spiritual Power surged within her. Streams of the Power of the Wind's Origin flowed out from within her, echoing with the power inside the Innate Xun Wind Pearl, forming series of small whirlwinds that slowly approached the massive cylinder.

As the whirlwinds neared, the runes on the cylinder began to shine with an even more dazzling light, as if awakening. Feng Buji could feel the space around them becoming unusually active, as if even ti slowed down its pace in that mont.

"You have finally arrived, the one I have been waiting for!" At this ti, a crisp female voice rang out, and then a green-robed woman bearing a resemblance to Venerable Shenfeng appeared above the Shenfeng Cannon.

"The Artifact Spirit of an Immortal Artifact!" Venerable Shenfeng and Feng Buji exclaid in surprise.

"Indeed, my na is Si Feng, and I am the Artifact Spirit of the Shenfeng Cannon!" said the green-robed woman Si Feng, looking at Venerable Shenfeng.

Immortal Artifacts all have Artifact Spirits, but so might fall into slumber, such as the Vajra Lotus Pure Heart Platform previously. However, unlike Taoist Instrunts, as long as the Immortal Artifact is not destroyed, the Artifact Spirit will not be destroyed and will sooner or later revive and beco aware.

"Venerable Si Feng, what do you an by 'the person you have been waiting for'?" Venerable Shenfeng inquired.

"The Innate Xun Wind Pearl was also a treasure of my previous owner. She used

to suppress and eradicate a very powerful Source of Inner Demons at this spot, and she told

that when soone cos seeking

with the Innate Xun Wind Pearl again, that person would be my new owner!" Si Feng said with a sowhat sorrowful expression.

Upon hearing this, Venerable Shenfeng was filled with complex emotions. She hadn't expected that the Innate Xun Wind Pearl given to her by Yu Qingtan would co with such an incredible benefit.

"So it is. I, Feng Wuyue, am honored to beco your second owner," said Venerable Shenfeng with a respectful bow, her voice containing a barely detectable tremble. She was deeply aware that this was not only a recognition of ownership over an Immortal Artifact but also an inheritance of the will of an unknown predecessor.

Si Feng moved slightly, transforming into a gentle breeze that circled around the Shenfeng Cannon and then rged into the shining runes. In an instant, the entire Shenfeng Cannon seed to co to life, its runes flowing over its surface like living things, emitting an even more majestic Power of the Wind.

"Feng Wuyue, in the na of the Shenfeng Cannon, I recognize you as my second owner. May we join hands to harness the storms and protect this world," Si Feng's voice echoed in Feng Wuyue's mind, carrying an undeniable authority and gentleness.

With Si Feng's recognition, the Power of the Storm around the Shenfeng Cannon gradually cald down, the forrly violent winds becoming gentle as if tad. Witnessing all this, Feng Buji was deeply moved, knowing that this mont was not only significant for Venerable Shenfeng but also a turning point in their entire exploratory journey.

"Master, congratulations!" Feng Buji congratulated with sincere admiration and excitent in his eyes.

"Hahaha, it is indeed an Immortal Artifact! Well then, this is truly a blessing from the heavens to Cangsheng!" At that mont, a hearty laugh ca from above the Eye of the Storm, causing Venerable Shenfeng and Feng Buji's hearts to suddenly tighten.
