After returning to the Barbarian Sect from the Barbarian Wilderness Immortal City, Yu Qingtan, under the guidance of Elder Tie Shan, went to the Barbarian Wasteland Purgatory. Her heart was full of anticipation and excitent, hoping to comprehend the Path of Power in this secret realm.

Barbarian Wasteland Purgatory was located in a valley deep within the Barbarian Sect, barren and void of any grass. Although vegetation was sparse on the Barbarian Wasteland Plateau, this valley still gave Yu Qingtan a sense of deadly silence.

Inside the valley, there was a bottomless circular abyss, like a huge mine shaft, as if leading to hell.

"This is the entrance to the Barbarian Wasteland Purgatory, just jump straight in!"

Elder Tie Shan pointed to the abyss and said.

Yan Xi, Xiang Yiyi, and the others felt apprehensive at the sight of this abyss, as the pitch-black darkness below could instill an endless sense of fear. Yu Qingtan, however, bold and confident, smiled lightly upon hearing this and jumped right in.

Elder Tie Shan showed a look of admiration, and although Yan Xi and the others were slightly concerned, they also believed that the Barbarian Sect would not harm Yu Qingtan.

Yu Qingtan descended rapidly in the abyss, subconsciously wanting to use her Spiritual Power to control the speed of her descent, but to her surprise, she discovered it was also a spirit-suppressing area.

Her body's speed of descent increased, and she didn't know how much ti had passed.

"Bang~"

Yu Qingtan finally hit the ground, creating a deep pit on the surface. However, thanks to her powerful body, she wasn't hurt.

She climbed out of the pit and found herself at the bottom of a pit with a radius of a hundred zhang, pitch-black all around. Thankfully, her Divine Sense was still usable, although it was severely suppressed.

After scanning the area with her Divine Sense, she discovered there was only one passage. Above the passage, the words "Barbarian Wasteland Purgatory" were inscribed, exuding an ancient and mysterious aura.

Yu Qingtan took a deep breath, cald her emotions, and entered the passage.

The inside of the passage was dim and andering, as if endless. Yu Qingtan could only rely on her faint Divine Sense, moving forward cautiously. Suddenly, she felt a strong force pulling at her, as if sothing was tugging at her body.

She continued to move forward as the pulling force slowly intensified, and the passage gradually widened. After about half an hour, she felt the Chaotic Power, a crucial force for Body Refinent.

She was delighted, for Chaotic Power had beco so scarce in the outside world that it was entirely imperceptible, and yet here she could feel it directly; the concentration of Chaotic Power was already comparable to a Second Stage Wasteland Crystal.

She did not stop; instead, she continued onwards.

Before long, eight diverging paths appeared in the passage before her.

They all looked identical, so Yu Qingtan randomly chose one to enter, and soon there were another eight diverging paths.

After passing through five intersections, the concentration of Chaotic Power was already comparable to a Third Stage Wasteland Crystal, and the environnt's pulling force made her start to feel uncomfortable.

Ahead was a vast cavity, and inside it, two red lantern-like eyes stared at Yu Qingtan.

"Chaotic Desolate Snake!"

Yu Qingtan sent her Divine Sense over and discovered that ahead was a late Third Stage Desolate Beast, the Chaotic Desolate Snake.

It was several tens of zhang long, resembling a brown-yellow dragon, anderingly coiled within the cave. Its body was covered with thick scales, and its physique seed to contain endless power.

The Chaotic Desolate Snake's eyes glowed like two red lanterns, emanating a strange and profound light as if they could see through all falsehoods. Sharp fangs protruded from its mouth, releasing an intense aura of threat.

Before Yu Qingtan could react, the Chaotic Desolate Snake had already opened its gaping maw, lunging to bite her.

Facing the fierce attack of the Chaotic Desolate Snake, Yu Qingtan showed not a hint of fear.

In an instant, her figure beca blurred as she dashed towards the Chaotic Desolate Snake with astonishing speed. Just as the snake was about to clinch her, she suddenly made a ninety-degree turn upward, her fists tightly clenched, swinging with a whistling sound, rcilessly smashing into the head of the Chaotic Desolate Snake.

From her earlier sparring with Elder Tie Shan, she had gained so insights into the Path of Power. Along the way, she had also been contemplating the pulling forces in the environnt. In her previous life, her physics were quite decent, and she had her own understanding of force.

Force is not rely strength. Force is also the cause of changes in the state of motion of an object. Moreover, the action of forces is mutual.

Thus, using the pulling forces here, she controlled the resistance of her body in different directions, achieving a sharp ninety-degree turn, catching the Chaotic Desolate Snake off guard.

"Bang!"

There was a loud noise as Yu Qingtan's fist collided with the scales on the Chaotic Desolate Snake's head, sparking dazzling flashes. Although it didn't break the scales, the imnse power caused the Chaotic Desolate Snake to feel dizzy and see stars.

Yu Qingtan seized the opportunity to leap up, straddling the Chaotic Desolate Snake at its vital point, and began pounding with both fists relentlessly.

As the saying goes, strike the snake at its seven inches.

While the Chaotic Desolate Snake was dazed, Yu Qingtan's punches landed on its crucial spot like raindrops. Each punch was infused with her understanding of the Path of Power, and an embryonic realm of Power Dao ford around her.

The Chaotic Desolate Snake writhed in pain, attempting to shake off Yu Qingtan's assault, but she clung to it like an entrenched disease, continuously dealing damage.

The Chaotic Desolate Snake tried to strike Yu Qingtan with its tail, but she deftly dodged every ti.

As ti passed, the breath of the Chaotic Desolate Snake grew weaker and its body started to stiffen. Finally, after another heavy blow, the Chaotic Desolate Snake's body shook violently, then lay motionless.

Yu Qingtan climbed off the snake, panting heavily, a tired but satisfied smile on her face.

Desolate Beasts don't have inner cores and thus don't possess the thod to self-destruct their cores. The hardy corpse of the Chaotic Desolate Snake was quite valuable, and Yu Qingtan promptly stored it in her System Space.

What surprised her even more was that deep within the Chaotic Desolate Snake's cave, there grew an unusual plant. This plant stood three feet tall, with erald jade-like leaves and a stem as tough as steel, resembling a certain vegetable.

"This is... Big Strength Spinach!" Yu Qingtan exclaid with delight.

Big Strength Spinach is an exceedingly precious wasteland plant that aids in the comprehension of the Path of Power and holds imasurable value for Body Cultivators. Yu Qingtan had heard legends of Big Strength Spinach but had never imagined she would encounter it here.

However, for Desolate Beasts, the seeds of Big Strength Spinach are the pri treasure for cultivation, whereas the Human Race and Demon Race can benefit directly from consuming the vegetable. Hence, the Chaotic Desolate Snake had not devoured this Big Strength Spinach, to Yu Qingtan's benefit.

She plucked the Big Strength Spinach and put it in her mouth to chew, consuming it raw.

Imdiately, a potent power surged tumultuously within her, her muscles, bones, and even her soul seed to receive imnse nourishnt and enhancent at that mont.

Her comprehension of the Path of Power also heightened instantly, as if she had drunk a large bucket of Enlightennt Tea.

Yu Qingtan knew this was the effect of the Big Strength Spinach. She imdiately began to ditate, to better comprehend the Path of Power.
