She did not stop; instead, she continued onwards.
Before long, eight diverging paths appeared in the passage before her.
They all looked identical, so Yu Qingtan randomly chose one to enter, and soon there were another eight diverging paths.

Desolate Beasts don't have inner cores and thus don't possess the thod to self-destruct their cores. The hardy corpse of the Chaotic Desolate Snake was quite valuable, and Yu Qingtan promptly stored it in her System Space.
