: Superhero
The screening for the crew was much more stringent, even without Shouta Takashimaya being a hijacker. Since the front freight area had disassembled weapons, the obvious question would be… Who would need to retrieve the weapons? Wouldn’t that be a crew mber?
As for the charter flight for the passengers, it wouldn’t need the current crew. In fact, before the screening ended, the whole crew had to stay at the airport or another designated place.
The crew didn’t have as much rights as passengers; they had to obey all the rules.
Shino Shibuya, as Shouta Takashimaya’s fiancée, was a major focus of the investigation. Hideo Ohno, rumored to be having an affair with Shino Shibuya, was also thoroughly investigated.
“Minako.”
When Shino Shibuya finished her interview, she returned to the lounge for the crew. She sat next to Minako Sakurai and whispered, “Were you the whistleblower?”
Minako Sakurai’s face stiffened. Her report wasn’t anonymous; if it was, the investigation wouldn’t be so fast. But her report was confidential; only the airport and airline officials at the highest level knew who she was. The confidentiality helped protect Minako.
Her reward would also be subtle. In addition to a material award, her professional developnt would be very smooth from now on.
“It has to do with ng Fan-kun, right?”
Everyone in the crew saw ng Fan’s action at the airport.
Shino Shibuya wasn’t stupid; she made a guess easily. Seeing Minako Sakurai’s expression now, she was all but certain of her theory.
Shino Shibuya took a deep breath, “Relax, I won’t tell anyone.”
Minako Sakurai answered, “Shino, you know that if the hijacking worked, you and Hideo would both be… be killed. I heard it with my own ears!”
Minako Sakurai didn’t say if ng Fan had anything to do with it. When the airport officials questioned her, she just said she overheard the plot.
“I know!”
Shino Shibuya lightly patted Minako Sakurai and leaned back into a tight ball. She said, “I don’t hate you. But Minako, do you believe when I say I really do love Shouta?”
Minako Sakurai was stunned at the words.
To be honest, she didn’t think Shino Shibuya would say sothing like this. She would never guess what Shino Shibuya would do later after Shouta Takashimaya was sentenced to death.
— Attempted hijacking was a cri considered as hijacking in many countries, not to ntion, this one occurred in Singapore, a place with very strict laws.
All of this would happen in the future. For the mont, Minako Sakurai wasn’t worried about any of this; her mind was full of ng Fan.
Minako Sakurai saw everything ng Fan did at the airport. The heroic scene was sothing she would never forget.
The spectacular monts also made Minako Sakurai realize sothing.
“ng Fan-kun, actually, you got to know because of this incident, right?”
“You approached because you wanted to et Shouta Takashimaya, right?”
“Actually, you knew Shouta Takashimaya was part of the hijacking from the start, right?”
Other than ng Fan, Minako Sakurai knew the most about the attempted hijacking. Thinking back to what ng Fan told her at the cafe, she noticed so holes in his story. Adding everything together, she had reached this conclusion.
“ng Fan-kun, you’re a superhero, right?”
“Like in the movies, the secret agents from ‘S.H.I.E.L.D.,’ the superheroes from ‘Avengers,’ and Tom Cruise from ‘Mission Impossible,’ you’re always showing up at dangerous places to save the world, right?”
“ng Fan-kun, my superhero!”
Minako Sakurai beca really excited at the thought of being a partner to a world-saving superhero. If there weren’t other colleagues around, she’d have scread.
A superhero and a beauty partnered together to save the world — or at least an attempted hijacking — is there anything more exciting?
Yes, if they beca a couple!
Minako Sakurai thought to herself, if a romance really happened, even if she was in danger of dying like the female protagonists in those superhero movies, or even if she did die, she would do it!
“Minako Sakurai, co on out here.”
While Minako Sakurai daydread, an airport employee asked her to leave the lounge. She thought it was for an interview, but ng Fan appeared in front of her.
“ng Fan-kun!”
Minako Sakurai ran toward ng Fan and hugged him tightly.
The nearby police officer watched the scene benovently. ng Fan was getting a heroic welco. He didn’t know Minako Sakurai was the whistleblower. The police officer left the lounge to give them privacy.
“ng Fan-kun, are you okay?”
“I’m fine.”
ng Fan patted Minako Sakurai’s back gently, retrieving the black technology microphone attached to her pendant. It cost 1,000 points, ok?
As for the black technology microphone on Shouta Takashimaya’s watch: first, ng Fan had no reason to visit him, who was under close guard; and second, even if he saw the hijacker, his watch was already removed and locked away. ng Fan wouldn’t have a way to learn other information via eavesdropping, so he started the device’s self-destruct process, losing 1,000 points in the process.
After Minako Sakurai let go of ng Fan, she noticed ng Fan winking at her. She knew what could be said and what she couldn’t. She grew excited and got into the fantasy of being the beautiful partner to a superhero again. This was the movie’s sequel!
“ng Fan-kun, are you still going to Japan? How long will you stay there?”
“I need to stay here for the investigation for a while. Not sure when I can go to Japan yet. If I do go and you’re there, can I look you up?”
Minako Sakurai looked sad at the news that he couldn’t leave with her. She was hoping for more developnt with him when they toured Japan together. Now, she couldn’t do anything.
“I might stay for three days in Japan. If you can go there soon, it’d be great, if not…” ng Fan was touched by Minako Sakurai’s forlorn expression. He softened and said, “I will probably go to Japan in the future. It doesn’t an we won’t ever see each other again.”
“Really?”
Minako Sakurai was so happy she stood up and kissed ng Fan’s face. She blushed. “I will always rember that morning when I first saw you. Your smile was so warm, it woke up my whole world. Even if I forget my na one day, I will always rember your na, ng Fan-kun. You’re my superhero!”
