Chapter 78: Family Knows
Hu Wan bounced back onto the bed and said in an aggrieved voice, “Chen Chen, do you hate that much? You’re not even willing to touch ?”
“No, don’t think too much. I’m just worried about you,” Chen Chen said casually as he looked at the lounge beside him.
This was the VIP ward of the hospital. Beside it was a waiting room for the person providing care. It was filled with all necessities
“I’ll go there to rest. Just call if there’s anything,” Chen Chen said as he placed Hu Wan into the bed and tucked her in. “Go to bed early. Don’t think too much, or you’ll lose sleep again.”
Chen Chen did not sleep the entire night.
As he watched the sky gradually light up, he began to have the feeling that he was about to be executed.
He knew that he should go, but he did not want to.
At about eight o’clock, Chen Chen finally could not resist the internal struggle and sent a ssage to Bai Ran. “Are we really getting a divorce?”
“Yes, I’m already on my way. I’m almost there. Co over quickly,” Bai Ran replied simply.
“Are you that proactive?” Chen Chen lay on the bed and scratched his head in frustration. He did not reply.
“Chen Chen, it’s ti to wake up.” Hu Wan knocked on the door.
Sigh… The person outside was also so proactive, urging him to get a divorce.
Chen Chen sighed and got up to open the door.
“Chen Chen, let’s go have breakfast later.” Hu Wan’s eyes were already filled with excitent.
She had already received a ssage from her people telling her that Bai Ran had already arrived at the Civil Affairs Bureau and was just waiting for them.
Hu Wan sneered. This woman was still trustworthy!
Then, her expression softened again and she changed to a friendly smile to look for Chen Chen.
She really could not wait any longer!
“Are you in such a hurry?” Chen Chen pursed his lips and felt a little uncomfortable.

Chen Chen took out his phone. “Hello, Mom. What’s the matter?”
When she heard that it was Chen Chen’s mother, Hu Wan moved forward silently to listen, hoping that it was not to ask him to leave.
“Well, you two had a good rest last night, right?” Chen Chen’s mother’s voice was very happy on the other end of the line. “I didn’t want to disturb you. Grandma just misses Ran Ran too much. I want you two to co over later and have lunch together.”
When Hu Wan heard this, she was furious. Why was Bai Ran still in everyone’s eyes at this mont?!

She could not let Chen Chen delay this any longer!
Hu Wan grabbed Chen Chen’s phone and said, “Hello, Mom. I’m Hu Wan. Chen Chen will co with later. Bai Ran won’t be going.”
“Hu Wan? What do you an?” Chen Chen’s mother was shocked. “Why are you with Chen Chen? What right do you have to call Mom? What on earth happened?”
“How could you snatch my phone?” Chen Chen was a little unhappy and snatched it back. He said, “Mom, Hu Wan was joking just now.”
“Who said I was joking? Chen Chen, you don’t even dare to say it. Are we even going to register our marriage today?” Hu Wan did not even want to pretend to be gentle at this mont. She had to get an answer.
“What? You want to register your marriage?” Her mother shouted from the other end of the line.
“Mom, no…” Chen Chen was about to say sothing when a commotion ca from the other end of the line. The call was hung up.
“What?” Hu Wan held back her tears. “So Chen Chen, you’re lying to ?”
Hu Wan’s tears fell instantly. She held her chest with a painful expression, and her figure was still a little unsteady.
Chen Chen quickly held Hu Wan and comforted her. “I’m not lying to you. It’s just that you know very well that no one in my family has actually accepted you. I’ve always been the one who insisted on being with you. If you tell them so rashly that we registered our marriage, how can they stand it? So, at least give them a buffer period to accept this.”
