Chapter 117: Underwear
Bai Ran waited silently. The hot air from the hairdryer made her a little hot.
Bai Ran let go of the blanket and wanted to cool down.
At this mont, a small thing suddenly fell out of the open blanket.
Bai Ran picked it up and saw that it was actually a woman’s lacy underwear! When she took a closer look, it seed to be stained with so unknown liquid.
“What’s this?” Bai Ran shook her head and shook off Chen Chen’s hand. She turned to face Chen Chen and hung the underwear in front of him.
She t Chen Chen’s equally surprised gaze. Then, she flung the underwear under the bed.
She felt disgusted holding another woman’s underwear!
The hairdryer was still blowing. Chen Chen did not even have the ti to switch it off. He pulled the string and cut the hairdryer off. He casually threw it by the bed and shouted, “I really don’t know.”
“Is that so?!” Bai Ran smiled disdainfully and got out of the bed quickly. She did not want to stay on the bed that this other woman had slept on!
In the end, Bai Ran forgot her injured calf and almost fell to the foot of the bed.
Chen Chen quickly held her and shouted, “Don’t force yourself!”
“It’s none of your business!” Bai Ran flung his hand away and steadied herself.
“I’m the sa as you. This is the first ti I’m seeing this thing today!” Chen Chen still held Bai Ran’s arm. “I really don’t know why this is on my bed!”
“Chen Chen, are you too lazy to make up a reason to fool ?” Bai Ran looked at Chen Chen and found him ridiculous. Her eyes were filled with disdain.
“No! I’m telling the truth!” Chen Chen shouted angrily. Who knew what was going on?!
“So you’re saying that this underwear appeared in your house for no reason?” Bai Ran’s tone was still very impolite. “Even if you say you’re a transvestite, it’s better than this!”
“Maybe I’m into crossdressing!” Chen Chen was amused.
“Is it very funny?” Bai Ran’s expression was very cold as she looked at him silently.
Chen Chen felt a little weirded out by her gaze and stopped smiling imdiately. He looked at the underwear on the ground and seed to have thought of sothing. He said, “This might be Hu Wan’s?”
“What do you an by might be? Don’t you know if you’ve slept together before?” Bai Ran rolled her eyes. She had never known Chen Chen to be so irresponsible, unwilling to even admit such a thing.
“I really haven’t slept with her before!” Chen Chen shouted as he grabbed Bai Ran even harder.
“Let go of !” Bai Ran’s eyes were filled with coldness. “Then how do you know it’s Hu Wan’s?! Besides, there’s liquid on it. She has either worn it before, or you guys have done it!”
“Because only Hu Wan has been here these past two days!” Chen Chen said.
“You admitted it? Didn’t you say you didn’t know anything just now?” Bai Ran was already filled with endless anger. Whenever Chen Chen said sothing, she would retort.
“Damn it!” Chen Chen stomped his feet in anger. “I didn’t rember anything just now! Yesterday, you went for an outdoor shoot. She ca over to look for in the morning.”
“Why was she looking for you?” Although Bai Ran did not believe him at all, she still wanted to hear his explanation.
“She asked why my attitude toward her was so bad in the past. She even told that she wanted to see Grandma and apologize to her, asking to accompany her,” Chen Chen said.
“Speaking of which, I want to ask you too. Why did your attitude toward her change?” Bai Ran frowned and felt a little strange.
“Don’t you know why? You almost lost your life twice. Don’t you suspect it’s Hu Wan at all?” Chen Chen looked at Bai Ran in disbelief.
“Yes, but do you have conclusive evidence?” Bai Ran looked up and asked.
“Of course!” Chen Chen’s eyes darkened and beca deep. “At least I know about the first ti. It was done by her subordinate, Liu Fu!”
“As for the second ti, she did it a little smarter than the first ti. She even knew to get her attending doctor to find soone unrelated to her to help her bribe the nurse!”
Chen Chen was already calm.. God knew that he was trembling with anger when he first found out. “They added Quinidine to your oxygen tank!”
