Chapter 104: Snowflake Nougats
Grandma touched Bai Ran’s hair in her arms and looked relieved. If only their family did not have Hu Wan, they could live well together.
After staying for a few days, after the basic treatnt was over, Bai Ran sent Chen Chen a ssage to inform him and returned ho alone.
Bai Ran opened the door to her house. After not coming back for a few days, she felt that the sll in the house was different. There was only a cold sll left.
She walked to the suitcase and began to pack the things she needed for the next day’s outdoor shoot.

The doorbell suddenly rang.
Bai Ran went to open the door and saw that Chen Chen had placed his hands on her shoulders the mont he ca in. He shouted, “Bai Ran, how could you be like this?! You left after the treatnt?”
“I didn’t. I texted you!” Bai Ran said curiously.
“You call that texting? You said you would go ho first and thanked for the past few days? Why are you being so polite? Besides, you just sent a ssage and it was over? Then what have I been doing these past few days?” Chen Chen’s face was filled with helplessness. He had a feeling that his heart was blocked and he could not vent it.
“Then tell , how do you want to repay you?” Bai Ran reached out and pulled Chen Chen in.
Chen Chen sat down and felt even more stifled. “I don’t want you to repay , but you can’t leave without a word!”
“What are you trying to say?” Bai Ran did not know whether to laugh or cry. She tilted her head and looked at Chen Chen, waiting for his explanation.
“I just… I don’t know!” Chen Chen was very speechless. In short, how could she leave?!
“Don’t you know that your house is not safe? You’re still coming back?” Chen Chen thought for a long ti and finally found a reason.
“I’m going out tomorrow. I have to co back today to pack,” Bai Ran explained.
“So you’ll still go over to my place?” Chen Chen looked overjoyed.
“No. It’ll be fine if I sleep at ho for a night,” Bai Ran said calmly, not noticing that Chen Chen’s face instantly darkened when he heard this answer.
“No, I’ll bring you back after you’re done packing!” Chen Chen ordered.
“There’s really no need.” Bai Ran could not be bothered with him and ran over to pack. “Why don’t you go back earlier? It’s almost dark.”
“I’m not leaving either!” Chen Chen crossed his arms. He was going against Bai Ran today.
“Why are you so stubborn…” Bai Ran continued to keep it. She did not even look at Chen Chen when she suddenly touched a band-aid, evoking her mories.
Bai Ran recalled the night Chen Chen was stabbed until he bled. She also recalled the scene of him searching for rats for her. She recalled everything that had happened in this house.
Bai Ran frowned and suddenly stood up. She turned to look at Chen Chen and asked with a smile, “I’ll make you snowflake nougats, okay? Take it as a small repaynt.”
“Okay!” Chen Chen’s eyes were a little excited, but he quickly cald down and said calmly, “Then do it.”
He was the dignified CEO! What was a face filled with anticipation for desserts?!
Although the important thing was that she was the one making it! As long as she did it, she could do anything!
“Then wait for . I’ll go to the supermarket downstairs to buy so materials!” Bai Ran’s face was filled with dense joy as she took her wallet and went downstairs.
Chen Chen did not even have the ti to shout as he muttered to himself, “If it’s that troubleso, then do sothing else. There’s no need to specifically buy materials!”
After a while, Bai Ran ca up with a big bag.
“Why did you specially buy it? Just get sothing to make it in the fridge. I’m not picky.” Chen Chen looked at her in confusion.
“No, I must make this for you. No one else can.” Bai Ran’s eyes were filled with determination.
“Could there be sothing special with the crispy snowflakes?” Chen Chen was even more puzzled and frowned.
“Don’t worry about it. I just want you to try it.” Bai Ran looked at Chen Chen expectantly.
Looking at Bai Ran’s expression, Chen Chen thought that being so happy was worth it even if it was poison!
“Then I’ll sit down and wait for Master Bai’s work!” Chen Chen said.
Only then did Bai Ran enter the small kitchen in satisfaction and start cooking.
