"I’ve been watching the ti," she said, "if I hadn’t rembered Mr. Shen, I would have thought soone else had been waiting for so long."
"..." Qiao Xi couldn’t understand Shen Dang’s behavior at all: "Okay, thank you for letting know."
After hanging up the phone, Qiao Xi felt a bit stunned for a while. She couldn’t figure out what Shen Dang was trying to do by waiting downstairs for so long.
Thinking about him coming and then leaving, Qiao Xi felt even more frustrated.
She opened her chat history with Shen Dang, and their conversations were still from a long ti ago.
Qiao Xi couldn’t help but sigh.
She felt Shen Dang did it on purpose.
Purposely stirring up her emotions.
Qiao Xi recalled her work schedule, she had to go on a business trip for promotion in two days.
That evening, there was also a live broadcast, with the crew of "Blossoms Old Dreams."
Seeing that there was still ti, and she was indeed not at peace, Qiao Xi made a call to Su Tutu.
"Xixi?"
Leaning lazily on the couch, Qiao Xi asked, "Sis, am I disturbing you and Brother Chao?"
Su Tutu heaved a sigh: "Brother Chao went to Xiaotang Mountain tonight and just got back not long ago. You’re not disturbing us, what’s up?"
Qiao Xi covered her eyes with her hand to block the light overhead, her voice casual: "Which bar is quieter? Shall we have so drinks?"
Hearing this, Su Tutu clicked her tongue: "Give a break, with your poor tolerance for alcohol, I’d be afraid Boss Shen would chop to pieces."
Qiao Xi frowned imdiately: "What does Shen Dang have to do with it? Stop bringing him into this, are you coming or not?"
"No."
Queen Su was very straightforward in her refusal.
Qiao Xi: "..."
Feelings fade just like that.
"I’ll co over to your place," Su Tutu changed the subject, ignoring the slightly aggrieved look in Sheng Chao’s eyes.
A good sister needs her at a ti like this, of course she must co through without hesitation, putting the man aside for now.
"Then co on over." Qiao Xi gave a slight smile, looking strikingly beautiful with her cool eyes, but this scene went unseen by anyone.
Compared to a man, a sister is more reliable.
"I’ll bring so drinks and barbecue over," Su Tutu said imdiately.
"Okay."
As soon as Su Tutu hung up the phone, Sheng Chao imdiately pulled her into his arms to sit down, locking eyes with her: "You’re going to see her, what about ?"
The man’s heavy presence enveloped her, with a strong sense of possession.
"Xixi and Boss Shen haven’t made up yet, so stop being so clingy, okay? Otherwise it’s embarrassing for us to always be flaunting our affection."
Sheng Chao said as a matter of course: "I don’t mind."
Su Tutu: "..."
That shaless remark left her speechless.
But Sheng Chao never cared about what others thought.
Su Tutu kissed his lips gently to comfort him: "Good husband, I’ll co back and sleep with you tonight."
Su Tutu rose from his embrace, and the next second she was pressed back onto the couch by Sheng Chao, captured in a long kiss.
...
Su Tutu arrived at Qiao Xi’s ho with beer and barbecue.
Qiao Xi, leaning on the door fra, watched her co in with a large bag: "I thought you weren’t coming."
Su Tutu laughed, "How could that be? You’re my good sister, I had to co if I said I would."
It was useless for Sheng Chao to pester her. Just before he took the final step, Queen Su firmly pinned him down, then slipped away.
At that mont, Sheng Chao’s gaze was heavy with predatory danger as he watched her escape.
Su Tutu still shivered at the mory.
Su Tutu laid out the food on the table while Qiao Xi got so ice cubes from the refrigerator. She poured so beer into a glass and clinked glasses with Su Tutu.
Su Tutu relaxed with an "ahh": "Beer is just so refreshing! Barbecue and beer are a perfect match."
Holding her glass, Qiao Xi’s face was full of smiles: "Let’s indulge tonight; we can’t eat like this next ti, barbecue has too many calories."
Su Tutu gave her a once over: "Don’t worry, you can’t get fat. Eat and drink what you should. Co on, let’s clink glasses again."
Su Tutu energetically nibbled on skewers: "Xixi, you got sothing bothering you? You can tell directly. It’s no use trapping yourself in a dead end, sotis you need soone else to give you a little guidance."
"Is this considered trouble?" Qiao Xi chuckled to herself, her eyelashes half-closed, hiding her emotions: "It might not be trouble, just perhaps self-inflicted anxiety."
"What are you so anxious about?" Seeing her downcast, Su Tutu hazarded a guess: "Did Boss Shen do sothing to excite your feelings again?"
Excite feelings?
Qiao Xi looked at her, her gaze sincere: "Not at all."
You couldn’t be moved just because a man waited for you downstairs for an hour, could you?
If the security guard hadn’t inford her, how would she know Boss Shen would do all that?
Since he wouldn’t say, she would just pretend she didn’t know.
Su Tutu slamd the table: "Co on, stop beating around the bush with ."
Su Tutu knew that all of Qiao Xi’s discomfort was because of Shen Dang.
That man had already left a mark in her heart.
Qiao Xi took a deep breath: "He just waited downstairs for an hour, the security guard thought it was strange and then told about it."
Su Tutu pouted, a hint of concern in her furrowed brow: "So that’s been bothering you?"
Before Qiao Xi could respond, Su Tutu slamd her hand on the table: "Actually, it’s not that it’s troubling you, but rather your heart is in turmoil, right? Since you’re not completely indifferent to Boss Shen, then go for it, what are you afraid of? Let tell you, don’t be timid. If you fall, just get back up. It’s better than regretting it painfully later!"
...
Su Tutu didn’t make it back to accompany her husband tonight.
She had drunk too much, and so had Qiao Xi.
A person who couldn’t hold her drink and yet got herself drunk, she truly wondered where she got the courage from.
Of course, Su Tutu had inadvertently drunk too much.
Sheng Chao waited until very late but Su Tutu didn’t co back. She didn’t answer his calls, so he knew what had happened.
He was upset and didn’t want so bastard man to be happy.
So in the middle of the night, Sheng Chao made a call to Shen Dang.
At this mont, Shen Dang hadn’t rested yet; he was drinking alone at ho, casually answering Sheng Chao’s call, "What’s up?"
"Can you hurry up and win over Qiao Xi?" Sheng Chao asked irritably right out of the gate.
Shen Dang: "..."
Shen Dang furrowed his brow: "What do you an?"
Sheng Chao snorted: "So you won’t have to co looking for my wife when you’re in a bad mood. Won’t all these problems disappear once you win her over?"
Shen Dang laughed coldly: "Heh."
"Good luck, Dang," Sheng Chao said earnestly, "I thought this would be easy for you, but it seems I overestimated you."
Shen Dang laughed again coldly. Just as he was about to say sothing, Sheng Chao hung up on him.
Shen Dang: "..."
He felt stifled, unable to vent his frustration.
"Damn it!"
Sheng Chao, that son of a bitch!
Shen Dang couldn’t help but curse.
He ended up chuckling at his own reaction.
Sheng Chao, does he have so sort of problem?
