Chapter 353: Chapter 248: I Think I Saw Ye Jiayao
“Old Shen, I’ve promised my daughter.”
Shen Hanxiu glanced at her, not surprised at all as if he had known she would make this decision.
“My daughter is going over there; you must have soone take good care of her!”
Shen Hanxiu freed a hand and pulled her into his arms: “Don’t worry, with here you can be as capricious as you want. I’ll take care of the consequences.”
Su Nian looked up at him: “Do you think my decision now is capricious? I also feel that it’s not quite right for Zhenzhen to go there alone and so far away…”
“You’re being capricious now! If you tell your daughter not to go again, I’m not taking the responsibility for that consequence.”
Su Nian felt annoyed and extrely reluctant to let go of her daughter.
The Xiaoxiao who was asleep in her arms slowly opened her eyes, looked around a bit, and then puckered her lips and started crying.
“Maybe she’s hungry, I’ll carry her upstairs to feed her.”
Su Nian reached out her hands to take the baby, but Shen Hanxiu didn’t hand the child over, instead, he took the lead and walked upstairs: “Let’s go, together.”
Su Nian knew what he was up to and gave him a glare: “Together what! Watch Su Zhen and Su Bao!”
Su Nian went upstairs carrying Dudu, only to find that Wei Lan and Jin Qiu were there.
Jin Qiu was righteously indignant as she talked about last night’s matter with Yang Zijing, and then she complained: “How can two brothers be so different? Look at how steady your Yang Zichen is!”
Wei Lan just “tsked”: “That’s just the surface! When he’s out socializing, those won keep throwing themselves at him!”
“That’s different, it’s not like he’s the one going after the won.”
Wei Lan looked at Su Nian with a face full of envy: “Still, Mr. Shen is the best, considerate, gentle, and not a playboy.”
Su Nian just pouted and didn’t say anything. To outsiders, that man is perfect, yet only she knows how difficult that man can be to deal with.
“Su Nian!” Ziyan suddenly walked in, “You’re all here?”
“What’s wrong, Ziyan?”
Ziyan closed the door, ca over, and sat down, saying, “I think I saw Ye Jiayao.”
“Ah?” Jin Qiu was also surprised: “Why would she co here? Ziyan, you must have seen wrong?”
“I don’t know, she just looks a bit alike.”
Su Nian then asked: “Did she co with Tang Shaosheng?”
Ziyan shook her head: “It’s not him.” She hasn’t seen him since she returned.
Jin Qiu was certain, “Then it’s definitely not her, that vile woman always cos with Tang Seng, just like a shadow.”
Su Nian, however, shook her head: “Not necessarily, we’ll go down later and take a look.”
Ziyan agreed: “I’m just afraid that if it is her, she’ll cause trouble. Su Nian, you must be careful and watch the children.”
Su Nian was indeed also worried about the children’s issue; that crazy woman was capable of anything.
And now Zhenzhen was running around everywhere. If it really is Ye Jiayao, now would be a good ti for her to strike.
Thinking of this made her uneasy; Xiaoxiao hadn’t fallen asleep yet, so Su Nian pulled out her phone and called Shen Hanxiu: “Old Shen, where are Zhenzhen and Su Bao?”
“I’m with them, why?”
Hearing they were with him, Su Nian breathed a sigh of relief: “I heard Ye Jiayao has co, I’m a bit worried, make sure to keep an eye on the children.”
There was a pause before he said: “Su Nian, do I make you feel so insecure? Why worry so much? Just take good care of yourself.”
Actually, he had already seen Ye Jiayao a mont ago, that’s why he kept an eye out ticulously for Su Zhen and Su Bao, fearing that crazy woman might have so sort of plan this ti.
He didn’t want the sa thing that happened to the first child to happen again.
Now without Tang Shaosheng protecting her, if she dares to act recklessly, he won’t be lenient. If she dares to make a move, he has ways to make sure she spends the rest of her life in a ntal hospital!
This ti Ye Jiayao sneaked in following a bald man, and along the way, the man had been taking advantage of her.
As for her, from the mont she entered, she had been looking for Shen Hanxiu.
She looked up, said a few words to the bald man, her red lips curved into a smile, the man nodded after listening, pecked her on her red lips, then let go of her and embraced another woman.
Ye Jiayao slipped away, looking towards Shen Hanxiu’s direction, but instead of going straight over, she turned into a relatively dark corridor.
“Daddy, why does that woman keep looking at you?” Even Su Zhen noticed her gaze.
“Maybe she thinks Daddy is handso,” Shen Hanxiu replied nonchalantly.
Su Zhen pouted: “Humph, annoying! No matter how handso Daddy is, you belong to Mommy, no one else is allowed to look!”
“So you want to hide Daddy away?”
Su Zhen looked up at him: “You’re so big, you can’t be hidden! Where has Mommy foolishly run off to now? If she were by your side, no woman would dare to look at you.”
Shen Hanxiu smiled: “Your mommy has snuck off to slack off, she’ll co out during alti.”
Su Zhen expressed her disdain: “So lazy! Even lazier than !”
After speaking, she jumped out of Shen Hanxiu’s arms: “I’m going to find her!”
Shen Hanxiu reached out his hand wanting to hold her back, but after thinking about it, he simply told Su Bao: “Go and look after your sister.”
After speaking, he stood up and followed the direction where Ye Jiayao left.
Ye Jiayao stepped out of the bathroom and saw the man leaning against the wall, instantly freezing as if she didn’t expect to see him here, her excitent mingled with the thought that he was waiting here for Su Nian.
Gripping her handbag tightly, she sneered internally, no matter, she won’t let them be sweet for long.
“Are you waiting for Su Nian?” She walked up and asked, fully aware that he’d scorn talking to her, yet she couldn’t bear simply brushing past him and chose to initiate the conversation.
Shen Hanxiu glanced at her, then stood up straight and bluntly asked, “What are you doing here?”
Ye Jiayao smiled: “What can I do? I ca with President Zhang. I didn’t expect to run into you guys here.”
Shen Hanxiu rely cast a cold glance at the purse she was clutching tightly, warning her, “Don’t pull any stunts. Without Tang Shaosheng, who do you think you can outfight?”
Ye Jiayao simply smiled faintly: “Of course, Ah Shu, you’re so heartless. If I cause any trouble, you’ll probably take my life without hesitation.” Her tone was sowhat self-deprecating.
However, this did not elicit the slightest sympathy from Shen Hanxiu: “Good that you know.”
Ye Jiayao looked very disappointed: “President Zhang is waiting for , I’ll be going first.”
Turning around, a sinister smile spread across her face.
She didn’t plan on returning alive from here anyway, as without him, living or dying made no difference.
To ruin Su Nian’s happiness and possibly die at the hands of Shen Hanxiu… her life would seem complete…
It was surely better than living alone and watching the two of them enjoy their sweet happiness…
With that thought, she gripped the purse in her hand even tighter.
Despite Ye Jiayao saying she wouldn’t do anything, Shen Hanxiu’s vigilance didn’t wane, plus he already had a plan. If she made her move tonight, he could ensure this woman would never appear in his and Su Nian’s life again!
The banquet proceeded calmly until a certain point when Mother Yang, being quite playful, combined it with a dance party.
Dinner wasn’t eaten at the sa table like lunch, everyone ate separately.
Su Zhen was dragging Su Bao to the dessert area, eating their fill.
A few won, including Su Nian, gathered to chat about family matters.
“Nian’nian! Look at that woman!” Jin Qiu shouted, drawing everyone’s gaze in the direction she pointed.
They saw a woman in a deep V-neck gown clinging intimately to Shen Hanxiu’s arm as if whispering sothing.
Before she even opened her mouth to say a few words, Shen Hanxiu pushed her away without gentlemanly manners. His icy gaze was enough to make one shiver. Stabilizing herself against a table, the woman left resentfully.
Wei Lan exclaid, “Wow! Mr. Shen is so decisive!”
“I wonder what Yang Zijing would do in his place.”
Wei Lan joined in, “And Ah Chen too…”
Jin Qiu ca up with a naughty idea: “Let’s go upstairs and watch, then find a woman to test him.”
Su Nian and Ziyan didn’t comnt while Wei Lan said, “This doesn’t seem right,” yet honestly followed Jin Qiu as she stood up.
Jin Qiu pulled along Su Nian and Ziyan to accompany her upstairs.
They found a woman who was neither particularly beautiful nor ugly, gave her a little money, and sent her to test the waters.
Yang Zichen was standing by Shen Hanxiu; opposite them, two portly n seed to be discussing business.
The woman glanced up at Jin Qiu, who confird Yang Zichen as the target with a nod, and then she approached him.
But just as she got close before even speaking, Yang Zichen barely acknowledged her before he subtly stepped aside.
The woman followed and looped her arm through Yang Zichen’s, flirting, “Handso, let’s go have a drink.”
Yang Zichen slightly furrowed his brow, withdrew his arm, and kept a polite distance, “Sorry, I don’t drink.”
As the woman tried to speak again, Yang Zichen suggested to the two n, “Shall we sit over there to chat?”
Then he left the woman and went away.
When it ca to Su Yuecheng, the woman didn’t dare approach him at all.
Su Yuecheng, holding Dudu in one arm and a phone in the other, looked every bit the image of a good father. The woman, unsure, looked upstairs at Jin Qiu, who signaled her to let it be.
Her greatest concern was Yang Zijing.
The playboy he was, if a girl made the first move, he might accept in her absence.
Yang Zijing sat at a table with a few buddies, drinking.
The woman walked over and sat down at the table next to him.
Jin Qiu was afraid he’d just pull the girl into his arms, but instead, he instantly moved a bit away, looking bewilderedly at her, “Who the hell are you?”
Wei Lan covered her mouth and giggled, “Looks like he swore.”
Jin Qiu also smiled, relieved she wasn’t disappointed. Otherwise, he could look forward to a lifeti on the couch!
Then the girl leaned in and saw him push her away, showing off his wedding ring, and even seed to say the word “Scram.” The girl gave Jin Qiu an OK sign, mission accomplished.
Ziyan laughed, “You guys really don’t trust your husbands.”
Su Nian teased them, “Do you think everyone is as chaste as my Uncle Cheng?”
Wei Lan teased Su Nian back, “Do you think everyone is as devoted as Mr. Shen? To be childhood sweethearts too! I’m green with envy!”
Su Nian didn’t deny it, smiling sweetly.
Suddenly, Jin Qiu pointed downstairs, exclaiming, “Ye Jiayao!”
“It looks like she’s approaching Little Treasure!”
Su Nian hurriedly went downstairs, “Let’s go down!”
That madwoman, she surely wouldn’t be so well-behaved!
