It was silent throughout the whole journey.
When they reached the hospital, Jing Chen followed them without a word.
After the doctor’s examination, she had already understood Su Wan’s condition. After dutifully explaining the situation, the things to take note of, and the cost, she instructed, “I’ll prescribe you so dicine for consumption. It’ll heal faster this way, okay?”
Su Wan hesitated for a mont before nodding.
Su Wan took the bill and walked out. After a while, she turned to look at Jing Chen and stood still.
Jing Chen understood and took the form from her. “Wait for
here. I’ll pay the fees.”
Su Wan gripped the form tightly. “I left my phone with the doctor. Wait for .”
She returned to the consultation room.
The doctor had just closed the drawer when she saw Su Wan and opened it imdiately. He heaved a sigh of relief and said, “Don’t forget such a valuable item next ti.”
Su Wan received it and thanked him repeatedly.
However, she did not leave. Instead, she sat down and quickly said, “Doctor, I’m pregnant. Will there be any problems if I consu dicine?”
The doctor was stunned. When he had asked Su Wan if she was pregnant and if she had taken any other dicine earlier on, she denied it.
But when she saw that Su Wan ca back alone, she imdiately understood. “I’ll change it to one that is used externally.”
“Thank you, thank you, doctor,” Su Wan said gratefully.
The doctor shook her head, expressing that she understood and changed the prescription on the computer.
When they received the dicine, Jing Chen was stunned. It was such a big box!
When he took a closer look, he realized that it was actually a dicine for external use.
His brows instantly furrowed. “This doctor is too unreliable. She said that she would prescribe you dicine for consumption, but in the end, it’s one that’s applied externally.”
From the looks of it, he was going to confront the doctor!
Su Wan quickly confessed, “I got the doctor to change it to a dicine that’s applied externally. I don’t want to eat it. It’s too bitter.”
Jing Chen didn’t agree with her explanation. “You didn’t even flinch once when you were taking dicine in the past. Wasn’t I the one who was always afraid of taking dicine?”

The only dicine that was acceptable to Jing Chen was capsules because it was not bitter at all. Secondly, it had a sugar coating. He would not touch tablets no matter what.
She coaxed him for two whole days before he finally relented.
Now that her lie had been exposed, Su Wan bit her lower lip and gripped the dicine tightly. She said firmly, “I just want to use one that’s applied externally.”
“Why? What are you thinking?”
Jing Chen sized her up.
Su Wan looked at Jing Chen pitifully, the pleading in her eyes was clear.
She was afraid that if Jing Cheng went back he would find out that she was pregnant…
The consequences would be unimaginable!
Su Wan had to stop him no matter what!
Jing Chen stood at the sa spot and thought for a while. He looked at her as if he wanted to say sothing but stopped himself. Especially when he saw how pitiful she looked, his heart softened and he suddenly thought of a reason.
“You’re going to use it as an excuse to ask
for help when you’re applying the dicine, aren’t you?”
Su Wan stared at him in astonishnt, her round eyes rolling around. This was a good reason!
But it was too shaful?
But she could not think of any other reason. Her mind froze. She could not think of anything except to stop Jing Chen from going to the doctor.
She might as well just use what he had given her.
The more she thought about it, the redder her face beca. She suddenly moved closer to Jing Chen and deliberately lowered her voice. “How can you say such things in public? There are so many people in the hospital…”
He had correctly guessed it?!

Su Wan didn’t understand and asked blankly, “When did I have another man?”

Jing Chen raised his eyebrows. “Just rember it. Otherwise, you’ll be at a disadvantage.”

“What sort of disadvantage?” Su Wan blinked, she could not understand the situation.
