Chapter 221: She Has Already Taken The Antidote
Su Wan ca out of the ntal hospital in a few days.
A few dramatic incidents had happened in the past few days. As a patient, she had undergone several examinations in this short period of ti. After the results were out, Su Wan was directly discharged.
During this period, Jing Chen had never co once.
He did not even co to look at her a single ti.
The person who ca to pick her up was Qin Lan. When she saw Su Wan, even her usual cold face had a trace of worry. When she saw Su Wan for the first ti, she smiled faintly. “Congrats on getting discharged.”
Su Wan could tell at a glance that her smile was forced.
Su Wan pretended not to see it and smiled. “Thank you, Mom. Oh, right, did you know that Jing Chen and I are divorced?”
After Qin Lan heard this, she looked at Su Wan in surprise. She paused for a mont before replying, “I know. Jing Chen told
recently. Why did you guys get a divorce? Why so sudden?”
After Su Wan heard this, she explained, “It’s because of Bai Lian. She wants
to divorce Jing Chen as a condition for her to give
the antidote.”
Qin Lan nodded thoughtfully, still unable to vent her pent-up anger.
Jing Chen had only told her that he had divorced Su Wan. Qin Lan had been worried about Su Wan recently, but Jing Chen refused to let Qin Lan see Su Wan. She did not know where Su Wan was.
So she could only give up.
When Su Wan was discharged, Jing Chen told Qin Lan to pick her up this ti.

Qin Lan rembered that she had said in amusent, “Why? Why do you still have to pretend to be soone else after a fake divorce? Just because you’re not Su Wan’s husband doesn’t an you can’t pick her up after she’s discharged.”
At that ti, there was a long silence on the other end of the line before Jing Chen replied, “I’m with Bai Lian so it definitely is not convenient for
to pick her up. Mom, just treat it as going to pick up your daughter.”

The call was hung up just like that. Qin Lan could not understand. When she was about to call Jing Chen again, Jing Chen did not pick up at all.
Qin Lan looked at Su Wan who seed quite well. She didn’t understand what had happened between them, but she didn’t have the courage to tell Su Wan about Jing Chen and Bai Lian.
Qin Lan had a feeling that Su Wan didn’t know about this.
She first brought Su Wan to a restaurant.
The car stopped at the door. Qin Lan smiled and asked, “Wan wan, are we eating this today? Or are we eating private food?”
Su Wan blinked. She was worried.?Why didn’t Jing Chen co?
But she held it in. Maybe Jing Chen didn’t have ti, so he asked Qin Lan to pick her up.
Regardless of what Su Wan ate, it was the sa, so she said to Qin Lan, “Mom’s recomndation will be good. I’ve never eaten any before.”
Qin Lan nodded and explained with a smile, “These two restaurants have just opened recently. The chefs they hired are very famous, so many people ca because of their reputation.”
With that, Qin Lan turned the car in and arrived outside the restaurant. The na of the restaurant was Cheng Ran’s Little Banquet.
The renovation style and taste of the dishes inside were even well-liked by Qin Lan.
During this period, Qin Lan had been paying attention to Su Wan’s condition. She realized that her emotions had been very stable and she looked calm.
Qin Lan stopped the car and asked with a smile, “Do you mind that Jing Chen didn’t pick you up?”
Su Wan was stunned for a mont before she imdiately smiled. “No, Jing Chen is busy too. Besides, he doesn’t have to focus all his attention on .”
The two of them got out of the car together. Qin Lan was indifferent to this reaction. Hearing Su Wan’s tone, the relationship between Jing Chen and her was still normal. There was no resentnt between them.

Su Wan took it. She was in a good mood and ordered a few more dishes.
However, these few dishes she ordered were dishes that Qin Lan liked.
