The three brothers were surprised when they heard what Erika’s words.
"I know you all are shocked to hear say this but I know why am saying this", Erika cleared out.
"Why do you say so?" Michael questioned her.
"When I was still living at the Hart mansion, Mary didn’t have the full liberty to do whatever she wanted. She was not the madam of the mansion as long as grandma Elizabeth was still alive."
"She despised grandma Elizabeth for standing up for whenever she bullied . And as for Adam, he might be her own flesh and blood but he might want to get rid of her because of the properties", Erika explained.
"What do you an?" Felix asked.
"Ever since i ca into the lives of the Harts family, i have encountered a lot of tis when grandma Elizabeth and Adam would have argunts regarding the property papers. There is one thing that Adam can’t get unless the property is transferred in his na", Erika said looking at Felix.
"More money", He stated.
"Yes, but we can’t be sure about any of these without investigation first," Michael repeated and the others nodded.
"You are right about that, so why don’t we start investigating now?" said Daniel. "You can call butler david later to ask him if he can bring the autopsy report to you when you get back to California", Daniel suggested.
"I will do that", Erika replied. Deep down, she was hoping that neither Mary nor Adam were the cause of grandma Elizabeth’s death because she would make sure to ruin them when the truth cos out.
"When you get the autopsy report from butler David, let know so that I can co and get it. I would need to take it to the lab to analyze it", Michael inford Erika, she nodded at his words.
After the agreent was made, Erika faced Daniel and spoke,
"Daniel, what did you an back at then at the party yesterday that I’ve know the old couples of the Anderson since I was younger?" The three n held a look of confusion as they stared at Erika. "What?"
"You don’t rember?"Daniel asked her.
"Rember what?"
"We all grew up together but then he had to travel to Spain to study", Daniel responses. "So we were quite close with the family but you were just 8 back then. Probably the reason you don’t rember anything", he added.
Erika held a flabbergasted expression as she moved her eyes from one person to another. She had always wondered why Ethan was so close to her brothers and the reason his face didn’t ring a bell. This explains everything, she thought to herself. Now she wondered why Ethan never ntioned it.

"I never agreed to marry your daughter in the first place so don’t make it look like I dumped her", Ethan said, glaring at the old man who was standing with a walking stick.
He had co to the company in a good mood after what happened between him and Erika last night. But this old uncle had to co spoil his radiant mood by talking about an irrelevant topic.
"Ethan, think about it. Many people thought that you are going to marry Jasmine. And so many more people are expecting the wedding. It wouldn’t be good if you call it off now", Mr Davis said hoping to change Ethan’s mind about the matter but the young man in front does not look moved by his words at all.
"What if they find out that your daughter whom you want to marry nearly asked for the daughter of the Walters family to be kidnapped and raped?" Ethan questioned the man. "Also, I am not calling anything off. I just cleared a rumor."
Not knowing what to say next, Mr Davis brought out his trump card.
"Think about this, Ethan. Jasmine is your childhood friend. Think about how this would affect her ntal health, she had been hoping to marry you all this ti because she is really in love with you, Ethan. Since yesterday, she had locked herself in her room and she has refused to leave until you co to see her," said Mr Davis
Ethan looked at the man and imdiately realized what he was trying to do. Mr Davis was trying to play with his emotions but he forgot that he was using that trick on the wrong person.
Tired of repeating the sa ti over and over again, Ethan didn’t want to spend anymore ti with the old man.
"It is non of my business If she locked herself in her room", he replied dryly. "Nothing you say will change my mind about what I said at the party. The both of us know what is really going on here, Uncle so let’s cut to the chase".
Mr Davis’s face paled when he heard Ethan. "What do you an son? The both of us are talking about what is happening to jasmine because of the news you spread out". He swallowed his saliva.
Ethan chuckled when he saw that Mr Davis didn’t want to drop the act. His icy cold laughter echoed in the office and so sweats started dropping from his forehead.
"We both know that you have an ulterior motive as to why you want and jasmine to marry right? You want us to marry so that you can get the contract approved and also, you will have so shares of the Anderson corporations. Am sorry to say uncle, that plan of yours is never going to succeed", Ethan glared at the sweaty Mr Davis.
Mr Davis wondered how Ethan managed to find out the truth. He seed to have forgotten that Ethan was not a dump person and could easily find out the truth to anything.
"From your facial expressions only, it confird my suspicion. Now can you leave my office?" He said to Mr Davis and the old man imdiately scurried away from there. When he was outside the office, he released the breath he didn’t know he was holding until now. The temperature of the office dropped to the extent that he felt cold while he was sweating. He glared at the Ethan’s office door and left.
Back inside the office, Ethan called peter and instructed him to never permit any of the Davis family mbers in his office. In fact, they were no longer allowed to step their foot in the company. When his father calls and questions him why he was treating his old ti friend like that, he would reveal to his father everything that had been happening.
