Adrain could only glare at her. He was really regretting marrying Felicia because she had changed for the worse. She goes ho late now, goes out a lot saying she had a photo shoot and worse, she had started dressing like a prostitute which makes him so embarrassed.

"Look Felicia, if you keep dressing up like that, i will have to tell the securities to throw you out when you co here", Adrain warned her.

"Adrain, what is wrong with you?" Felicia asked Adrian not pleased by what he just said.

"What is wrong with ?!" Adrain yelled at her. Thankfully, his office was soundproof if not, the whole building would have heard his voice. "Look at yourself, you dress like a prostitute", he spat out the words not caring about how she would feel.

"HOW DARE YOU CALL THAT?!" Felicia yelled back at Adrian feeling totally offended by what he just called her. Adrain wasn’t lying anyway, she was a prostitute. He just hadn’t found out yet. "I will not stand here and let you call a prostitute, I am your WIFE".

"Then act like a wife, dammit!" Adrian cursed.

Nowadays, it’s always from one quarrel to another and he would be lying if he said he wasn’t tired of it. He rembered Erika all of a sudden. When the both of them were still married, the rate of their quarrel had not been this high before.

Felicia beca more angry and left from there, banging the door behind her with her short skirt swaying behind her.

Adrain rubbed his temples in a frustrated manner. He had been happy that there was a chance that he could partner with the Walters Corp. but now Felicia just had to co and ruin his happy mood.

Erika was checking her phone from ti to ti hoping to see a text from Ethan but nothing yet. Days has passed since she arrived in California but Ethan has not texted nor called her yet, she was starting to feel paranoid. She didn’t want to text him herself so as to not look like she misses him or anything.

To be honest, Erika loved the way Ethan has been courting her, the sweet romantic gestures and she has fallen deeply in love with him. Because who wouldn’t, when a handso business tycoon says he loves you and wants to marry you so day even though his pickup lines are not so good.

Erika sighed and dropped her phone on her office desk to focus on her work. She took the docunt that eve had dropped on her desk this early morning. It contained the information about all the board of directors that she had requested.

Erika went from one page to the other, looking at their profiles.

She didn’t find anything odd with so of them, then she focused on the mid forties woman who had questioned her evidence against Mr Charles the first day she ca to work.

The woman’s na was Evelyn Williams, aged 46. She owned businesses of her own which were going well. She owned about 10% shares of the company which was not that much but fairly good. But her bank record stated that she has had several money transactions and they were mostly coming in but the senders na was not registered. How was that possible? Erika asked herself.

Erika looked for Mr Charles bank record papers to confirm the dates and ti he transferred money from his account to another. The ti stated when Mr Charles sent 50 million dollars to another account was also the sa ti that Evelyn received 50 million dollars. Erika did so more cross checking to make sure she was not mistaken.

Erika also did so checking on the other board of directors bank records and they all match Mr Charles’s. Huge amounts of money was sent to them from Mr Charles account.

Erika beca annoyed. They received their profits but they still laundered money from the company? She needed to get rid of these people. Erika called eve to arrange for a board eting as quickly as possible and she also told eve to tell them if they weren’t in the eting room before her, she would sell that person’s share and kick them out.

This of course angered the board of directors. Who does this lady think she is to threaten them like that? They all thought to themselves.

Everyone had a smug expression on their faces especially after Erika walked in. She didn’t have a smile on her face at all and the air that surrounded her plus the glare she focused on them scread danger. They all quieted down and waited for her to be the first to speak but didn’t get the chance because Evelyn spoke first,

"Why this sudden eting, Ms Erika also why did you make that stupid threat? Are we so children that you can talk to like that? Just because you are the CEO, it doesn’t an that you can just assemble us whenever you want disrespectfully", The woman spat angrily in one breath.

Erika didn’t respond to the woman’s insult and simply went straight to the point, "You are here because I found sothing that was suspicious, sothing that wasn’t right. To cut story short, I checked your bank records and it noticed that you have been receiving a lot of money from Mr Charles".

After saying those words, she noticed Evelyn shiver in fear for a second and the woman tried to compose herself.

"Just who do you think you are to go through my bank records and check my transactions?" Evelyn yelled angrily at Erika.

"I think the real question is why are you so greedy? You are already earning your own profits but you still want more and you decided to take them illegally? Well I don’t think you will be able to do that anymore because am buying you out", she declared, making the woman open her eyes widely in shock.
