After the brother and sister released each other from their warm sibling hug, Erika faced Ethan and found the latter looking at her lovingly.
She still couldn’t believe that they were already together and that they had arrived at that place just when Adrain was about to get married to her.
Michael noticed that the two of them wanted to have so private ti so he excused himself to leave the couple together.
Erika cupped Ethan’s face and caressed it softly, whilst using her index finger to follow the lines of his sharp jawline that she had missed so dearly.
"If you feel any kind of discomfort, please let know," she said and Ethan smiled.
Ethan snaked his hands around her neck, pulled her face towards him and captured her lips, totally taking Erika by surprise. She didn’t expect him to be in the mood to kiss since he had a migraine.
Erika tried to pull away as she said so words against his lips, "You need to take your dicines." But unfortunately, Ethan didn’t listen to her but instead continued to kiss her.
Erika decided to give up trying to pull away since Ethan was only going to pull her back and simply enjoyed the kiss. Even though they had already shared a kiss back at the hideout, they still kissed each other hungrily, nearly gulping each other’s lips. Their tongues battled for dominance and Ethan won.
They continued their smooching until Erika was out of breath again and Ethan didn’t resist to release her but he held her hands in place, as if she was going to disappear any mont.
The VIP room suddenly went silent. No words were exchanged but they were comfortable with it and it wasn’t suffocating one.
"How were you able to find ?" Erika suddenly asked. As much as she was happy that she was already found, she was quite curious.
"Felix was able to put a tracker on Adrain’s phone without him realizing it....." Ethan went on to narrate everything that had happened since he had woken up from his one-week coma while Erika paid close ears to his words.
After Adrian finished narrating everything to Erika, she concluded on one thing. "Adrain and Viper have been working together, running an illegal business," she nearly gasped but wasn’t surprised at all. The aura that ca out of Viper already shows that he was soone dangerous. Not to ntion the tattoos that were on his wrist.
Erika suddenly rembered the woman’s face that was on Viper’s phone, the ti that she’d wanted to unlock it to contact one of them. But she didn’t get the chance to tell Ethan about it when her family mbers walked inside the hospital room.
Seeing them all in there made her wonder how long she and Ethan had been kissing. ’Has it already been an hour since they got to the hospital?’ She wondered.
Erika saw her mother and quickly rushed over to hug her. The older woman wrapped her hands around Erika as soon as Erika enveloped her body in a hug.
"My dear," Mrs Walters cried as she patted Erika’s back. The mother and daughter’s tears filled the room as they hugged each other as tight as possible.
Mr Walter ca in line to get his hug once Erika released her mother. They have been missing their daughter so dearly that they couldn’t believe it when Michael called them over the phone to tell them the good news and quickly, they ca by as fast as they could.
"We thought that we would never see you again," Mr Walters cried.
Ethan watched from the bed and once his eyes landed on the white dress that Erika had been wearing the whole ti which he hadn’t taken notice of yet, his eyes imdiately darkened.
"Aunty," Ethan called Mrs Walters to grab her attention. "Please call Cassandra and tell her to co to the hospital with new clothes for Erika."
Mrs Walters stared down at Erika’s clothes and imdiately, the elder woman drowned in distaste. She imdiately understood where Ethan was coming from and without wasting a single second, she called Cassandra with her phone and disclosed the news about Erika’s arrival, not forgetting to tell her to bring new clothes for Erika. The only one she wanted her daughter to wear that wedding dress for was for Ethan only. Not so dirty jerk that would kidnap her daughter and force her to marry him.
After so minutes passed, Ethan’s parents and sister also arrived inside the hospital room and Erika repeated the sa routine, hugging them dearly to show how much she had missed them.
Erika quickly took the clothes and went to change them. She was also uncomfortable with them and seeing Iza’s blood on her only made her feel even more guilty than she already was.
"That’s right!" Erika suddenly gasped. She had forgotten to tell Felix to bury Iza properly. He might probably think that the girl was also one of Adrain’s accomplices and bury her in the sa way he was going to bury the dead bodyguards.
Instantly, Erika ca out of the bathroom and quickly borrowed Ethan’s phone to relay the ssage.
From the other side, Felix was quite confused by Erika’s request but decided to help her out.
Once Erika was done with the phone call, she handed Ethan his phone back and released a sigh of relief.
"Who is Iza?" Ethan asked the question that everyone in the room was wondering.
"Iza was the girl that tried to help escape from Adrain but risked her life to save mine when Mary tried to shoot," she gave a summary of what had happened. She tried as much as possible not to tear up again but rembering the fact that soone whom she didn’t even know very well would risk her own life to save hers, her tears flowed out of her eyes but she imdiately wiped them away and gave a smile to show that she was okay. "I only wanted to give her a proper funeral since she risked her life to save mine," she added.
Mrs Walters could see how much Erika was trying to hold back her tears and she went and gave her daughter a comforting hug.
"Now now, don’t cry. I’m sure she did that because she wanted you to live," she patted her on the head and Erika nodded.
After Erika cald down, she smiled at her family to assure them that she was okay. She wouldn’t want to worry them now that she had just arrived. At the mont, she only wanted to spend ti with them and share good mories while they waited for Felix and Daniel to arrive.
After more ti passed, Felix, Daniel, and Edward arrived inside the hospital.
Instantly, Ethan asked them, "Were you able to find Adrian?"
The three n glanced at each other before they shook their heads in disappointnt.
"We searched the whole house but we couldn’t find him. He was able to escape from there even before we could catch him," said Felix. They had also been surprised when they couldn’t find Adrain anywhere and the fact that he was still out there, free to do anything that he wanted to do disturbed him. But it didn’t disturb him more than it disturbed Ethan. If Adrian was still out there, it only ant that Erika was still in danger and he couldn’t let Adrian co close to them again, especially Erika.
"How about Juliet and Mary?" Erika asked next. They were quite shocked that she didn’t comnt anything about Adrain’s disappearance but they chose not to ask her why. It must be because she was already tired and didn’t want to talk about her ex-husband.
"They are both in our custody?" Edward replied and Erika frowned at him.
"You didn’t take them both to the police station?" She asked, totally confused by what he ant by they were in his custody.
Edward chuckled lightly before he replied. "The police would want to dig deeper if we take those two won to the station. Besides, they can still be very useful to find Adrain. I’m sure he would want to kill them now that they have been captured but when he goes to the police, he would be shocked to know that they aren’t there."
Erika thought about what Edward said and realized that he was correct. But since Adrain was beaten up pretty badly by Ethan, it would take a while for him to recover from that and start disturbing them again.
Suddenly, an idea popped up in Erika’s head and she stared at Felix.
"Adrian was pretty injured before his n helped him escape from there. What if he had gone to a hospital to get himself treated?" She asked.
If Adrain had admitted himself into a hospital, then it would be easier for them to catch him since his body would be very weak at the mont.
