"It’s a very simple deal. I’m sure that you know that Adrain works for so I have more power than him and if I wanted to, I could bring you back to your family," as soon as he said those words, he’d expected Erika’s eyes would light up, glimring with happiness but unfortunately, her facial expression was the opposite. It was plain and she knew why, it was because she knew that there would be a ’but’ soon. "But I won’t do that and you want to know why?"
Sa thing, she didn’t react nor have a change of facial expression. She simply waited for him to finish his sentence before she would speak.
"It’s because I want you to co with , Erika."
As soon as Erika heard those words, she glared at Viper but what was she expecting? For him to say sothing less shaless than she had expected?
"If you want, I can take you with and you will live with instead, if Adrian is giving you a hard ti. And maybe, at so point, I could change my mind and finally let you go and be with your family again. Especially Ethan." He added.
From the few words that Viper had already uttered, Erika already concluded that this man was already a psycho, just like Adrian.
"Don’t worry, I’m not a psycho," he said, as if he’d just read her mind. "So what do you say? Do you want to co with and have a closer opportunity of being with your family again or would you rather stay here and be with your psycho ex-husband who will try to force himself on you sooner than later?" He asked her.
"None," Erika’s reply ca out quicker than he had expected, thinking that she would probably give it so thought before she responded.
"You should think about it, Erika. But wait, you didn’t even ask what’s in it for ?"
"I don’t need to ask that because I’ve already decided not to go with you no matter what. I will get out of here my way and I don’t need your help or anyone else’s." He heard her say. Her voice was very firm which left no more room for any persuasion.
Viper simply nodded his head before saying, "I will take that as an excuse to think about it first. I will co by later, then we can talk about what you want." With that, he didn’t wait for her to say anything anymore and left.
"Is he dead? After saying that I won’t go with him he’s still saying that he will give and for what? Just so that I can think about it? He must be dreaming if he thinks that I would want to go with him," she said to herself.

"I can’t go with him because I’m sure that he wants to do sothing with and I won’t let that happen. As much as I’m eager to escape from here, I won’t trust just anybody. Just like he said, he is Adrian’s boss so he’s worse," she said to herself.
Her top goal had been to get away from them as soon as possible but it would not be with the help of soone like Viper.
"Who knows, he might just take to sowhere that’s even worse than this place," she thought to herself.

The next day at the police station, an officer walked towards Adrain to shake him awake.
"Hey, wake up!" Said the officer and imdiately, Adrian fluttered his eyes wide open.
"Is the fingerprint result ready now?" He asked as he stretched his body on the bench that he was sitting on.
Suddenly, the three n whose faces he disliked so much walked inside the station and Adrain clicked his tongue out of annoyance. "Now my morning isn’t going to be a good one anymore," he mumbled under his breath.
Sighting Adrian still relaxed in a chair, Felix questioned the officer who had just woken Adrain up.
"Shouldn’t he be behind bars or sothing?"
"W-well, the f-finger print result isn’t out yet but w-will be s-soon," the officer stuttered.
"Shouldn’t it be ready by now?" Daniel asked.
"I will go and check now sir," said the officer and he imdiately left from there.
Adrian stared at the three n snickered. "I must say that you people are really quick. And as for how you were able to find that gun, I have no idea but instead of going to look for who owns it, you decided to pin it on ," Adrian mocked. "How many tis do I have to tell you that I didn’t kidnap Erika?" He asked out of frustration.
Felix didn’t reply to him but instead took a few steps towards Adrian and in a blink of an eye, Adrian felt a hard punch on his cheeks.
Felix grabbed Adrian by his shirt collar and spoke, "You have the nerve to say those words even after we followed you to that jungle. But I must say, Adrian, you must be pretty smart to know that we were there and escaped but now that you are here, do you think that we will let you slip away again?"
"What are you even talking about?" As soon as those questions slipped out of Adrian’s lips, he felt another punch hit his nose this ti and imdiately, blood started to ooze out and that was when Felix finally decided to leave him.
"You fucker!" Adrian cursed. He was about to stand up from the chair he was sitting on but my brown arrived and stood in between them.
"Please Mr Walters, calm down," Mr Brown tried to pacify them. "The fingerprint result is right here in my hands," he waved the paper that was in his hands, gaining their attention towards it.
Imdiately, Felix snatched the paper from Mr Brown’s hand and tore it open. Adrian studied Felix’s expression, waiting for the mont that he would say anything.
"This is impossible," he heard Felix mumble as his eyes scanned through the paper.
