Fu Yan was left speechless by Su Hongxing’s retort, only managing to agree, “Alright, what sister-in-law says is an imperial edict!”
“You should also pay more attention to him.” After saying that, Su Hongxing walked away holding Little Pudding’s hand.
Later, soone from Qingmu Garden delivered lunch. The steamy dishes were all the favorites of hers and Little Pudding’s, clearly prepared specially for her as instructed by Ye Qilan.
She waited until one in the afternoon before she saw Ye Qilan and Age return.

“I was waiting for you. Where did you go? I couldn’t even reach you by phone.” Su Hongxing approached him.
Ye Qilan avoided her gaze and replied softly, “Had to et a client suddenly, couldn’t use the phone. Co on, let’s eat.”
He turned and reheated the food in the microwave, then said to Su Hongxing, “From now on, start eating when it’s alti, there’s no need to wait for . See, the food has gone cold, and it doesn’t taste good.”
