Feeling uncomfortable, Qiao Qiao hugged the shirt and went into the bathroom. Only after washing up did she realize she didn’t have any clothes to change into. Upon closer inspection and seeing a pair of n’s underpants beneath the shirt, she was both amused and frustrated.
She compared the size to her waist, the underpants were several sizes too big, and they would fall off if she put them on. But if she didn’t wear them, she had no clothes to wear. Surely she couldn’t wear dirty clothes, could she?
In the end, she tied a knot at the waist, barely managing to keep the underpants from slipping down. After washing her own dirty clothes and hanging them in a ventilated spot, she stepped out of the bathroom.
Shiqing was watching TV on the couch, and when he heard her, he turned around, his eyes darkening.
Qiao Qiao was beautiful, even more so at that mont, captivating his gaze and making it hard for him to look away.
He took a tense breath, for the first ti realizing that he, too, was a man, and that he could be interested in a woman.
But that simply wouldn’t do, given her situation.
Feeling Shiqing’s intense stare, Qiao Qiao got goosebumps and hesitantly said, “Shiqing, where should I sleep?”
“You can sleep in my bed…” Seeing Qiao Qiao’s eyes widen, Shiqing said seriously, “Or you could sleep on the sofa. But I recomnd the bed; the sofa is too hard. I’m used to it, but your delicate body might not handle it well.”
“I’m not delicate; I can sleep on the sofa,” Qiao Qiao quickly said.
“I suggest you sleep in the bed. You can lock the door; it’s safer,” Shiqing suggested aningfully.
