“If you’re suggesting I return Little Pudding, it’s not up for discussion.” Ye Qilan cut off Su Hongxing’s words.
He was fond of Little Pudding, unwilling to let him go. Even though he knew it was very wrong, he still couldn’t bear to do it.
The child was too adorable, he didn’t even want to think about sending him away.

If she stayed with Ye Qilan in the sa office any longer, she feared she would lose it and physically attack him.
Su Hongxing knew Lan was still waiting for her news.
She didn’t dare call Lan from the office, so she stepped out of the office building to have a chat with Lan over the phone.
Both of them felt, they needed to knock Ye Qilan down a notch, and their only choice was to call the police and accuse Ye Qilan of child trafficking.
Upon hearing about involving the police, Lan was sowhat hesitant: “Do you really think we can stand up against Mr. Ye? Mr. Ye doesn’t seem like a good person. As he said, we can’t afford a decade-long legal fight.”

Zhao Rui, who had been hoped to find faults with Su Hongxing, seized this opportunity to tattle on her, “Mr. Ye, Su Hongxing had gone out and she looked rather sneaky.”
She left it at that, hinting to Ye Qilan that Su Hongxing was an ungrateful bad apple, possibly out there working for other companies.
When Ye Qilan heard the phrase “sneaky,” he took a closer look at Zhao Rui.
Zhao Rui was thrilled inside, she held her breath, imagining Ye Qilan finally noticing her beauty.
“You talk too much!” Ye Qilan said coldly, staring at Zhao Rui.
Zhao Rui turned pale and quickly explained, “It’s true, Su Hongxing was acting quite guilty… Her behavior was sneaky…”
