“Are you sure sothing happened these past few days that you don’t rember at all?” Sheng Yalun asked sternly.
“The only thing I rember is pushing away Su Hongxing. When I woke up, Su Hongxing and Xiaole were gone. Age told they were sent away by .” Ye Qilan replied, rubbing his forehead.
“Do you feel unwell anywhere?” Sheng Yalun asked.
Ye Qilan shook his head, then nodded: “I don’t feel unwell anywhere, but it seems like every part of my body is uncomfortable. I can’t find Su Hongxing, I need to see her!”
“Calm down! According to Age, it was you who took Su Hongxing and sent Xiaole away which ans it was your own intention. You exhibit these symptoms once a year, and you’ve never been this anxious before. Are you anxious now because Su Hongxing is missing?”
Sheng Yalun watched Ye Qilan intently, closely observing his expression.
However, Ye Qilan appeared bewildered: “I don’t know.”

Have you ever considered that Su Hongxing affected you so deeply you’re afraid she could interfere with your wedding with Cao Shiyu, which is why you decided to send Su Hongxing away.”
