Su Hongxing did not give any response to Ye Qilan.

Su Hongxing heard so noise at the door and turned around to see Ye Qilan bringing back so hot water. He held her hand in front of Grandma Jiang and Jiang Su, not trying to hide it at all.
Grandma Jiang and Jiang Su looked at each other. Both of them were the type to bully the weak and fear the strong, so they didn’t dare to say anything in front of Ye Qilan.
Su Hongxing spent the morning at the hospital, and Ye Qilan spent the entire morning with her there.
Su Hongxing wanted to make a scene and drive Ye Qilan away.
However, Ye Qilan was always able to diffuse the awkwardness in a few words, which left her feeling frustrated.

Su Hongxing glanced at his leg and chose to lean on the back of the seat and feign sleep instead.
And sure enough, she fell asleep again.
When she awoke, she found that the car had stopped.
The apricot trees in the distance were swaying in the breeze, showing off their graceful figures. Ye Qilan was standing under an apricot tree, leaves spiraling in the wind and settling on his shoulders.
The sun was setting, elongating his silhouette, which looked slightly desolate.
This was Apricot Garden.
The Apricot Garden that Ye Xiandong had once brought her to.
She sat in the car, staring at the endless apricot trees and then at the man standing amongst the trees. Unconsciously, she also felt a pang of lancholy.
She eventually got out of the car and walked slowly up to Ye Qilan. “Why did you suddenly bring here?”
“I planted these apricot trees myself, and they’ve grown well over the years,” Ye Qilan said, warmth in his eyes as he looked out at the lush Apricot Forest.
Su Hongxing didn’t know how to respond.
When Ye Xiandong had brought her to the Apricot Garden, she had suspected that this apricot forest had sothing to do with her. Ye Qilan’s words confird her suspicion.
What she didn’t understand was, did Ye Qilan know about her existence fifteen years earlier? After all, this Apricot Garden had been Ye Qilan’s property for the past fifteen years.
And Ye Qilan had just said that he had planted these apricot trees himself.
When he said he had been waiting for her for a long ti, did he an he had been waiting for her to grow up since fifteen years ago?
