Su Hongxing turned her head as she entered the elevator and joked with a smile, “Miss Mo probably sees as her love rival.”
Ding Ye glanced down at her and said, “No need to mind boring people.”
“Am I also a boring person?” Su Hongxing moved a little closer to Ding Ye, her smile bright and alluring.
Ding Ye looked at the charming face so close to him that he could see her flawless, jade-like skin and the stars shining in her eyes because of their proximity.
His throat tightened, and without leaving a trace, he stepped back and changed the subject with a serious tone, “What’s for lunch?!”
“Why are you so dull? You weren’t like this before.” Su Hongxing muttered softly.
Ye Qilan used to be so easily flirted with; to be precise, she didn’t even need to flirt to catch his attention. But the person before her now seed more serious than the Ye Qilan of the past, as if he were not quite in tune with romance.
Or maybe it’s because of his current status, which makes it inconvenient for him to flirt…
Lost in her thoughts, it took Su Hongxing a while to realize that Ding Ye’s mood was off.
“Are you angry?” She scrutinized Ding Ye’s expression carefully; his facial lines were taut, clearly indicating he was angry.
All she did was call him dull, and he’s gotten so touchy about it.
“In fact, you’re not that dull. Compared to Fu Yan, you’re much better. At least you’re more mature than Fu Yan. That guy is just too childish. A man should be like you!” Su Hongxing prattled on without pause, but she noticed Ding Ye had no reaction whatsoever.
Truth be told, he’s truly beco more somber after his death, just like an old pedant.
As it turned out, Ding Ye was not so easily appeased. Su Hongxing exhausted all the flattering words she could think of on him, but he still remained silent.
Throughout lunch, he didn’t say a word.

Ye Qilan had given her the cold shoulder before, but he had never been entirely silent. What had changed now?
Right after she finished speaking, Ding Ye left her behind with big strides, seeming even more irritated.
Su Hongxing felt like crying but couldn’t and chased after Ding Ye, “President Ding, what do I have to do for you to not be angry? Tell . How about this, I’ll buy you a gift?”
Ding Ye ignored her, so she kept persisting, “Or maybe I can buy you a new outfit? Aren’t you tired of wearing black all the ti? Besides these somber colors, which others do you like?”
Ding Ye still ignored her, not glancing at her once, and he entered the office building ahead of her.
Passersby who saw Su Hongxing chasing after Ding Ye all muttered, what a sheer veil it seems to be, chasing after a man.
If they had Su Hongxing’s thick skin, would they be afraid of not winning over a man?
Su Hongxing watched Ding Ye enter his office, turned her head, and asked Luo, the assistant, “Has President Ding always been so unlikeable?”
She was exhausted from speaking so much, yet he didn’t respond to a single word. It was too exhausting.

“Miss Su, that’s a strange thing to say. Our President Ding has always been popular with won, but none of them have been as shaless as you, daring to chase after him,” Assistant Luo said with a sharp remark.
Everyone saw it clear as day; it was Su Hongxing who was pursuing Ding Ye, and he simply didn’t care.
“Assistant Luo, I’ve been aning to ask, are you infatuated with President Ding?” Otherwise, why would Assistant Luo always look like a woman scorned, as if her President Ding had been stolen away?
