"And why would you want to poison an innocent girl?" Kevin asked, his tone sounding irked by what he was hearing.
"..." The assailant remained silent, drifting his gaze away from Kevin.
"It seems I will have to beat the words out of you," He says, lifting the head of the assailant with one hand as though he was as light as a feather while his other hand curled into a fist before landing a punch into his stomach.
The assailant coughed out a huge chunk of air mixed with spit and saliva with tears streaming down his cheeks.
Two more punch landed on his gut before Kevin dropped him. The assailant clutched his stomach, rolling in agony with a loud cry.
Kevin lifted his head again and his fingers widened, ready to send a reverberating slap towards his face.
The mory of his subordinate head turning backwards replayed in his mind and he couldn't help but fear he was about to receive the sa treatnt as well
"Okay, okay I'll talk," He pleaded, urging Kevin not to undergo what he intends to carry out.
Kevin dropped him back down to the ground. The assailant gasped for air and clutched his rapidly beating heart before breathing steadily to calm his nerves.
He lifted his gaze upwards and noticed Kevin's impatient gaze locked to his.
'Just how frightening can a person be?' The assailant thought
He instantly gulped and began to talk right after inhaling deeply and releasing an exhale.
"We wanted her dead because we know Brian Stark is in love with his daughter,"
"What the f**k did you just say?!"
"We wanted her dead because we ..." The assailant wanted to repeat himself but saw Kevin's hand, urging him not to say anything.
Kevin was taken aback. He took two steps backwards, rubbing his forehead which suddenly began to ache.
'Ugh, what the f**k did I just heard?'

Kevin could see where this was going.
In short, Brian Stark hopes to reciprocate his obsessive love of his dead crush towards her daughter, but as for now, he is waiting until she's had her eighteenth birthday before completely having his way with the little girl.

'Tell about it, ' Kevin replied to the parasite but still found sothing weird about all this.
There were still many questions in his head left unanswered like....
'What does Brian Stark crazy love with his niece have to do with them wanting her dead?'

'Why are they so intent on going against soone that's described as the King of the underground when they know provoking soone of such a status will only lead to their deaths,'
Not wanting to ponder on all these questions anymore, he asked them all from the assailant.
The assailant clutched his hands tightly, hanging his head down in despair as he tries to hold back the tears welling up his eyes after recalling a depressing mory of the past.

" A drug?" Kevin asked, a brow raised.
" Yes, " The assailant sniveled. "The drug has been circulating around the underground for years now but at the ti no one really paid much heed to it,"
"What type of drug? Cocaine? Cannabis?" Kevin asked, his brows creased.
" No, those types are too expensive. None of them are circulated in the underground anymore,"
He continued. " It's a new one called Mistletoe. I don't know where it ca from but The King has been selling it to kids,"
" His gang easily rose through the ranks due to the sudden rise and massive demand of Mistletoe,"
" But no one ever thought about it at the ti,"
" About what?"
" The sudden ergence of the cannibals and Awakened, and the abrupt disappearance of youths in the street at the stroke of midnight,"
" No matter how I see this, these things ca about after the drug circulated the underground and the city,"
" They've been little to no report to the public or dia of the drug existence yet, because of the king and his n astute approach in distributing the drug across the city while making a ton of cash in the process,"
