For Kevin to be so intent on seeing him suffer, the only possible reason for such an enormous amount of hatred had to be because Kevin was the heir to the Lannister household.
This was Brian Stark's conclusion, and after hearing Kevin's response, he knew his assumptions hit the right mark.
A few monts of silence occurred right after Kevin answered Brian Stark's question.
Brian then sighed before opening his mouth to speak. "You do know that if I answer all your questions tonight, you will not leave this room alive, right?"
Brian Stark grabbed hold of the bottle of whiskey on his table and slid it towards Kevin.
But Kevin replied confidently. "Of course. Only one of us gets to leave this room alive." Kevin acknowledged with a smile while grabbing the bottle of whiskey and pouring himself a drink before gulping it down.
Brian Stark cackled at the words that ca out of Kevin's mouth.
"Your confidence never ceases to amaze . Alright, it's been decided then. We'll both be truthful to ourselves and in the end, only one of us gets to leave this room alive."
"That seems like a fair deal."
"Since we are in agreent, I'll answer any possible questions you might have."
Kevin smiled and Brian Stark did the sa. If it weren't for the situation they both found themselves in, they could have been the best of friends or even partners.
But since it wasn't an ideal situation, they could only make a gentleman's agreent, knowing full well that only one of them would get to see the dawn of a new day.
"Alright, I would like to know who proposed the idea of Vanessa seducing my father, and what's your relationship with her?"
"By relationship, do you an how we beca friends? Is that correct?" Brian Stark asked for more clarification.
"Indeed."
"Hmm, let see," Brian Stark relaxed on the sofa with his arms spread wide as he reminisced about the past.
"I've known Vanessa since high school. She lost her parents around that age as well and has been taking care of her little sister on her own ever since."
"At first, she tried to balance both her work and her studies and managed to enroll into a decent university in the city. But she dropped out before completing her first year."
"And instead, she took on several part-ti jobs just so she could bring food to the table for both she and her sister."
"She tried her best to pay the house rent and send her younger sister into a pretty good university since they had no family mber to take care of them."
"The fact that she went on a stage as a s.t.r.i.p.p.e.r was kept a secret even from Sasha."
"We chatted a few tis and shared drinks on a few occasions. She even joked a lot about how weird I was for loving the sa woman as my brother."
"She also knew of my dream to make TRUTH, my nightclub, the best one across the four cities."
"But to do that, I needed money and neither of us had enough to achieve our dreams."

"Drake?" Kevin asked.

"Drake made a phone call to this friend of his and the friend later beca my business partner."
"Wait a minute, let get sothing straight," Kevin interrupted so that he could comprehend everything he had heard so far.
He understood where Brian Stark's story was heading.
The business partner Brian Stark was talking about was most likely the one in charge of delivering the drugs to him.
But there was still sothing Kevin didn't quite understand about this so-called friend of Drake's.
"Does this an, this friend of Drake's was one of the two other n watching you guys behind the cara?"
Brian Stark nodded in response, but Kevin asked another question.
"Who among the two n was Drake's friend?"
"The chubby one."
"His na?"
" Christopher Mormon."
"What?!" Kevin exclaid in shock.
Even Brian Stark was taken aback by his sudden reaction. "What is it? Do you know him?" He asked, then suddenly recalled sothing important.
"Oh, yeah, that's right. I guess you would know him since he is…"
"He is the current acting president of my dad's company," Kevin completed with his eyes still wide in shock as he slowly understood why it made sense that his family was their target.
But even with all this information he had now, he was still left with a ton of questions.
Kevin lifted his gaze towards Brian Stark and asked.
"How is Christopher, the current acting president of my dad's industry also the one in charge of sending you the drugs?"
"I do not know. All I know is that he makes so calls and whenever he does this, he informs whether a shipnt can be made or not."
This ant that if Kevin wanted to know more, he would have to ask Christopher Mormon himself.
Since he had no answer to his question, Kevin asked another.
"So, does this an you do not know exactly where the drugs co from?"
"Yes," Brian Stark replied truthfully.
"And you never bothered to ask?"
"Why should I? As long as it increases my wallet, I don't care even if we're sniffing baby powder."
Kevin face-pald himself at the words he was hearing from the man before him.
Although he had made so significant progress, Kevin still felt that he had a long way to go.
